So hungry today! Probably going to bug Honeybear to go by the fry shop for a hamburger with fried onion and a big pile of fries.

Probably did not pack enough to eat today. Breakfast was a fruit smoothie with almond milk and cashew yogurt. Lunch I have the fixings for another smoothie, plus a salad, and a large container of cherries. I am dizzy this morning, though, so I'm wondering whether alternate lunch plans are necessary.
I made marinated chicken with cous cous and sautéed zucchini and peppers for dinner. I'm so proud of myself whenever all of my food finishes cooking at the same time lol. Just waiting for DH so I can eat all the food.
Though I'm not gonna lie, I wish it was mcdonalds.
I cooked up some Cajun turkey burgers from my healthy freezer meal coop tonight - they were SO good! They weren't huge but I still ate 2 DH got back from traveling today and brought back a bunch of treats. I might have a little nibble on a Ghirardelli raspberry dark chocolate bar...
also, the only "fast food" I had while he was gone was a green curry with shrimp from Noodles and Co last tonight. It had one of the lowest calorie counts. Does that even count??
Yesterday was DH's birthday, so we went out for breakfast at a small cafe in our town, then for lunch we had chipotle, then for dinner we went to an overpriced, but delicious pizza place called Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza (it's a chain) for a white pizza with fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, basil, and garlic and it was amazing!
We've been finishing up the leftovers of a braised pork shoulder all week. Last night I turned the last of it into a pork ragout with fresh homemade simple sauce, over GF pasta (I have a severe gluten intolerance). Served by itself. I treated myself to a Maine Root ginger ale spiced with Bitterman's Burlesque bitters. Lunch was a spring mix and kale salad with a pickle, apple, and potato salad. Breakfast was a blueberry banana smoothie made with almond milk.
Went to a Greek festival yesterday and had a gyro. Delicious!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I've been eating all yummy things my hometown has to offer that I can't seem to find in California. Like good bagels, NY style pizza and good Chinese food. Yummmmm
After eating super unhealthy over vacation I'm back to trying to eat healthy again. Lowfat yogurt with blueberries and granola for breakfast, chicken breast for lunch, and cheese and oranges for lunch. BORING.
Now that I'm thinking more about it, I bet it was the sugar content of my whole lunch that's making me jittery, not the caffeine from half a soda. Need to watch the sweets I guess!!
Had to buy lunch today. I'm so hungry but didn't want to spend a lot of money so I ended up getting two bagels with cream cheese. Yum. I wish it was Taco Bell though.
Yesterday I finally got to have my unagi don. Took forever to get it because we went to one place far away from the house and they were out of everything, I was pissed. I love flavor ice right now, it's really the only sweet that's not too much for me.
Leftover pizza for breakfast, leftover chicken strips with fries for lunch, and the last of the fish sticks for 2nd lunch. No idea what dinner will me, although I'm seeing a theme now that it is all written out.
@BayCamp I am jealous. Love the hashbrown casserole but we don't have a cracker barrel that is super close. I haven't eaten anything exciting lately. I did have fried pickles at happy hour that were delicious. Everyone else was drinking and I was just stuffing my face.
Any LaCroix fans? I tried the "pure" flavor tonight for the first time and LOVED it. So weird. I've been drinking this for a few years and haven't tried it because it sounded so boring. I was pretty shocked to really like it!
@bcashaw Its sparkling water. It has a ton of different flavors. I loved it before getting pregnant but for some reason when I was nauseous I just couldn't drink it.
@MississippiCatfish maybe it's an east coast thing and I just never knew? I just bought a pack of their blueberry lemonade flavor at the grocery store yesterday, yum!
ETA fun fact: Polar is currently sponsoring the place I go sailing, so there are all these sailboats with cute blue Polar sails with bears on them out and about!
I had what DH calls "sadness burritos". I didn't have anything for lunch so I put refried beans and cheddar on a tortilla and that was it. DH's name is pretty accurate. At least it's paired with blueberry lemonade seltzer water.
I ate a kale and spinach salad for lunch. I am still horribly unimpressed with my responsible decision. I should probably grab some ice cream when I go to the grocery store after work, huh?

the lime with crushed ice and a straw is my fav!
I like the passion fruit one a lot too.
@JDW0325 I've had fake mojitos made with Lime and they were good!!
