Guys!... Today is my last day of work at the dance studio!!!! Yay!!! I kbownin the fall I will be asked to do things that can be done at home , which is fine, but I'm free from being chained to the desk. Stress free momma here I come!
@dumbledoredies exaaaaactly!! Get with the current century, people!
So it turns out my OB was putting the wrong insurance info on the order form so my faxes were getting moved to a pile waiting for authorizations that were never going to come. Luckily I called and told the MFM place my correct information (my insurance doesn't require authorizations) and she scheduled my anatomy scan for Tuesday. She said to stay off google, and that starting monitoring at 18 weeks is totally normal and I'll be fine.
Winning: *TMI* I've been super backed up for the last two days, and the flax bran muffin I had this morning for breakfast worked with a vengeance. It's the little victories, am I right?
WTF: I feel your pain with the tailbone issues, PizzaMonster3. They kept me from falling asleep easily last night.
@PizzaMonster3 have you seen those square pillows that look like a little wedge is missing in the back (in the tailbone area)? I have one of those and sit on it when my tailbone is killing me and it helps quite a bit because it shifts the pressure elsewhere! I wish I could remember what it's called!
My WTF was at myself yesterday: I looked online for a new place to eat this year as a date night for DH and I while we are on vacation. My parents offered to watch the kid, so off we go to what I thought would be a great seafood place. Nope. We walk in and I'm irritated because it's a hole in the wall place with no atmosphere and the menu did NOT match what it said online. Yeah, I soon discovered I was looking at a menu online in Charleston and not Myrtle Beach. My deffense was the place had the same exact name, I just didn't see it wasn't for where we were, oops. So we just ordered an appetizer and left.
Win: Was the place we actually ate for dinner. We went there with my parents a couple years ago, but we remembered it being awesome. Plus the atmosphere is what we wanted: Water view, outdoor seating, fun music, etc. So the evening out ended on a much better note and the food was amazing.
@curlyq423 As a trademark lawyer your WTF story warms my heart. Consumers actually confusing two businesses because they share the same name is GREAT news in my world!
@curlyq423 Basically if one of those businesses got pissed that people were mistaking it for the other one, I'm the type of lawyer they call to hash out who gets to use the name and who has to change to a different one, based on lots of different legal factors. Anytime anyone has an issue about a business name or a product name or whatever, trademark lawyers get involved. It's not that exciting but I like it
@TallMomma29@keiraanne I haven't found anything to help it. Usually I'll reset over night or eventually it becomes bearable. That cushion sounds like a good investment tho.
Re: Winning/WTF Wednesday
@TallMomma29 I've posted this before because it's one of my favorites but it seems fitting here.

What does a trademark lawyer do? Sounds intriguing!
