AFM: I did get the call and 3 of the 4 fertilized, one per icisi and the other 2 regular insemination. Am I happy sure, bummed about the 4th hell yes!! You want them all to make it as when you do testing it cuts the odds down tremendously at my age I feel more frazzled maybe as my RE said they were doing icsi on the "good looking mature ones" so I feel like that means one egg was bad?? I know i have to take the 3 and PRAY they will all make it through!! My clinic will have a report for me day 2,3 and then 5...so I shall be a basket case everyday! PLease keep that normal good juju coming for me ladies

@Hopeful_mom Yay for three embies!! Didn't one of yours not initially fertilize before then pull through? I remember something about that and thought it might be you. Crossing my fingers that all three are strong, healthy and of the opposite gender. AFM, I had my retrieval today. I was told going into it that they were really hoping that one out of the two would be a victory but to be prepared that there would be none. It turns out that they got 5!!!!!!! It's possible that many of these are immature but I'm thrilled nonetheless. Oh the rollercoaster of infertility

The fact that the one that didn't fertilize was an icsi one just means its out boooo. I'm praying 3 is all i need and my normies will still come back to me...yes opposite gender please I hate that I feel like its now or never...praying the g-ds are hearing me!! Looking forward to a good update! If they worried about not being mature then i guess it would be regular fert? What were your sizes going in. I do hate this empty follie sh@t for sure! @Hopeful_mom They're doing ICSI this time. I have no idea what to expect for a fert report tomorrow. Before my procedure today, the RE told me to be prepared that my two follicles could be empty and that we may walk away with none. Two days ago at my monitoring appt, I had a 17 and 18 mm and then a 12 and 10. We were hoping the 12 or 10 might make it to maturity for the retrieval but really only expected to being going for the 17 and 18. She was as shocked as I was to get 5. I would be so happy if two made it until tomorrow for a possible 3 day transfer. I suspect that at least 2-3 are going to be immature.
I really am impatient and don't like surprises but I'll take this one.

Funny we had similar number...seems my smaller ones are the ones that pulled through and fertilized and I think thats why i'm so extra nervous. I'm angry at that empty follie 2 cycles in a row BUT glad I didn't trigger earlier for it so hopefully I can have some success this cycle!

AFM- I tried to go to the dentist today but they turned me away since I am PUPO. It's been so long since I have had xrays that I need to either have a BFN next week or be in the 2nd trimester with a note from my OB that I can be seen. She wouldn't even do just a cleaning. I'm not having issues just needed to get a cleaning done. And it's been awhile cause it's hard to schedule around my FET's. So I'm hoping I wont be going in until 2nd trimester.

It looks like all five of my eggs were mature and fertilized!! I'm completely shocked. Yesterday AM before the retrieval I prepared myself for zero eggs and for this whole cycle to be a bust and now it looks like there may be some hope. They're going to update me tomorrow on progress and we're definitely planning on a 3 day transfer.

Not feeling very hopeful for this cycle! Have a 4AB which that I'm happy about but 2 - 2AB so thats really not great. Hoping they will perk up tomorrow and get in the game. This is where I even get frustrated with my faith, you can't give me a few days of hope and then crush my spirit. This cycle was torture and its not getting any easier. @radmom27 really hoping you'l have a better update!! @thucks you're pearly whites with have to wait I'm very overdue for a dentist appt as well and now I have to add OB to that too.

@radmom27 That's awesome that all 5 fertilized I hope the good news keeps coming. @Hopeful_mom Keep that hope up you still have time for them to purk up. My first FET in 2016 a friend of mine OOP transferred 2 1ba's I was flabbergasted that she would even think about transferring that grade. Welp both took and they are like 3 months old now and are beautiful babies. (It does make me salty though cause mine have been graded better and haven't taken *shrug*) I hate the dentist anyway so I'm ok that it has to wait.

@JamieH2000 I don't know how many we'll end up transferring. We've done three embryos at a 5 day transfer so I would think at least that many. I'm hoping for more good news tomorrow but am prepared either way.

Today I shall be a glimmer of HOPE!! Just got off the phone with my RE she called after my lengthy email from yesterday I promise she wants me to become preggers as much as me so she doesn't have to deal with me anymore!!
OK so today everything is still growing - even my 4th egg had late fertilization and is a cell 4 today...is it a long shot sure BUT for today all 4 of my embabies are still in it. Today is day 3 and they should be between 6-10cell, Now I have 2 that are at 8, a 5 and now a 4 Today I am breathing easier. I doubt I will get an update over the weekend so its probably Monday that I will here who has made it for testing!! Really praying hard they all continue on!!
On another board one of the woman had shared that they say girls can take longer to develop and can be day 6 etc. Anyway I took that to heart last night so i could actually try and sleep! So now i just think my lil princesses are taking their sweet time! Talk about stressing me out from day 1!!

AFM, I am officially PUPO. Early this AM (Day 3), I had 4 8-cell embies and 1 4-cell. My RE transferred them all. We were originally going to do 4 but at transfer time, we decided just to go all in and do 5 and hope that at least one does well on the inside and decided to pull through. Crossing my fingers and toes.

FATHERS DAY QUESTION: How is fathers day for everyone? Do you find OH is moody or acts like he doesn't care? My day was a mess of things and my OH has kids so this question doesn't pertain to me BUT I know on mothers day people on here were not happy so I wonder if it effects the men as much!
AFM: Today technically would be day 5 for my embabies but because its sunday I really didn't think I would get a call and to my delight the head of the embabies dept. gave me a call. In a crazy frustrating day I got a glimmer of hope!! One is ready for testing and the others are still in it...shes hoping to get one or two more tomorrow.....praying with everything they will pull through!! If you've been following my grading you will find it interesting that the first that made it to blast was a regular fert and originally was a 2AB on day 2 and just perked right up...so praying that is a normie fighter right there!!

@hopeful_mom- Responded to you on the other thread, but thrilled to hear good news for you! and hoping one of those embabies is a girl
AFM- I have an update, kind of. The clinic emailed on Thursday and said we should know at the end of the week if our first choice donor is available and eligible. I am insisting my RE looks at her first cycle and provides her opinion, even if the clinic says it was good enough to still be a donor. If she is borderline at all, we will probably wait for our next choice donor to be available at the end of July. With what we are paying, we are hoping for 6-10 day 5 embryos, so if her first cycle wasn't near that, we probably wouldn't proceed. However, we really really like her (physically, profile responses, etc), so please send prayers she is willing, available, and eligible to donate for us!

~~TW~~ So I've had a rough weekend and tried to just stay off of here and not even think baby. I spotted on Friday and did not feel well Saturday like crampy all over. And very emotional for the slightest things. Cried myself to sleep last night cause I really didn't want to go in for testing today I just didn't want that BFN again. Well it wasn't my Beta was 721. I go back Wed for another test and us will be in 2 weeks. She wanted to schedule it but I didn't want to genx it. She said it sounds like I've been dehydrated this weekend and this summer is going to be very hard on me. I will need to wear my compression stocking as soon as I can get a new pair ordered. I guess my 6th FET with 2 6day frosties was what I needed.

thucks so you held out and never POAS? I'm super excited for you!! I wouldn't be surprised if it was 2, and as you are older i'm sure its different too...or its some lil men But you could also tell DH that even just an extra day makes a difference as these numbers double in just a day too!

Anyhoo the lady seemed a lil confused BUT I think I have another 5AA today, not sure why it wouldn't be called a 6AA, I'll take it either way. She was confused by my chart but said they're still watching the other 2 BUT she didn't sound hopeful, so i'm hoping these are just the 2 that I need! Have my RE appt tomorrow so i'll wait to just go over it with her then.

Did you find her through an agency or through the clinic you go to? @thucks AAAAAHHHH!!!! I'm SO SO HAPPY for your BFP!! That is a super high beta!! @Hopeful_mom I'm sometimes amazed at how confused my lab/clinic is when I call. It seems like if this is something you do on a daily basis, that it shouldn't be that difficult to give out the information. So does this mean you have 2 to send off for PGS testing from this cycle with potentially two more? That is awesome!!!

@radmom27 for real quintuplets. Just the thought of that gives me anxiety lol. Don't worry I don't technically have the usual symptoms. Just some crazy o dreams and my body is crampy from being dehydrated. @Hopeful_mom LOL No no POAS. Freaks me out. I really want to do that at some point this round but we shall see if I can get the nerve up to doing. My friend is a POAS pusher shes begging me to do it now with the beta I got yesterday.

thucks if ur going to POAS I would say do to it sooner then later or when u do DONT freak out if the line isnt super dark! I say this as I was telling another IF friend on a thread to test as she waited for a while, I explained how great it was to FINALLY see that squinter...however because her hcg got so high it no longer can be detected. Just throwing that out there just in case

brooklyngirl18 I know it sounds crazy - but its true. And I was to blame, I was so excited for us that I wanted her to feel the same joy! I did a 3dt so my numbers were less then hers and for some reason even though she's only carrying one her numbers were huge and the dark line she expected to see she didnt. She was in overdrive crazy mode it was horrible I felt so bad and then she spoke to her clinic and was a google mad woman...so its a true story. Probably doesn't happen to many...but she even sent me the photo as I found it impossible but I get why she was concerned and I felt terrible BUT knew she was ok
thucks excited for your beta!!! you have such will power! I made it to the day before beta so i was pretty proud of myself...BUT I still caved
AFM: Had my RE appt today so I was able to get my full report!! I have some fighters on my hand so hoping this is a good sign in the end. Day 5, I got the one 5AA and on day 6 I got the other 2 at 5AA woohoo!!! My lil ladies are already striving for excellence. Even my late fertilized one was still going on day 7 but I think it's a wrap on that one. So 3 are ready to go! Praying they all come back to me normal. Finally taking the next step for FET, I kind of can't believe it's finally time. Looks like I will learn the joy of pio but hopefully not everyday if my levels are on point. We did some time of test that I requested to make sure all is good in the hood down below, its similar to a pap smear but (TMI) I am in so much pain right now OMG!! I dont know if its also the heat mixed with the friction of the day but holy geez!! I'm hoping the swelling will go down. I swear being a chic is stuff and i'm so sensitive to begin with Lucky I'm still excited for my lil ones making it through!! And My RE was in a good mood, I think pregnancy agrees with her and shes much friendlier to me, glad it only took so many cycles! Anyhoo I told her that I share that she tells me how old I am and she stated "no, thats not true, your ovaries are just old" thanks Doc!

AFM, I had my retrieval today. I was told going into it that they were really hoping that one out of the two would be a victory but to be prepared that there would be none. It turns out that they got 5!!!!!!! It's possible that many of these are immature but I'm thrilled nonetheless. Oh the rollercoaster of infertility

AFM- I tried to go to the dentist today but they turned me away since I am PUPO. It's been so long since I have had xrays that I need to either have a BFN next week or be in the 2nd trimester with a note from my OB that I can be seen. She wouldn't even do just a cleaning. I'm not having issues just needed to get a cleaning done. And it's been awhile cause it's hard to schedule around my FET's. So I'm hoping I wont be going in until 2nd trimester.

@Hopeful_mom Keep that hope up you still have time for them to purk up. My first FET in 2016 a friend of mine OOP transferred 2 1ba's I was flabbergasted that she would even think about transferring that grade. Welp both took and they are like 3 months old now and are beautiful babies. (It does make me salty though cause mine have been graded better and haven't taken *shrug*)
I hate the dentist anyway so I'm ok that it has to wait.

Today I shall be a glimmer of HOPE!! Just got off the phone with my RE she called after my lengthy email from yesterday
OK so today everything is still growing - even my 4th egg had late fertilization and is a cell 4 today...is it a long shot sure BUT for today all 4 of my embabies are still in it. Today is day 3 and they should be between 6-10cell, Now I have 2 that are at 8, a 5 and now a 4
On another board one of the woman had shared that they say girls can take longer to develop and can be day 6 etc. Anyway I took that to heart last night so i could actually try and sleep! So now i just think my lil princesses are taking their sweet time! Talk about stressing me out from day 1!!

AFM, I am officially PUPO. Early this AM (Day 3), I had 4 8-cell embies and 1 4-cell. My RE transferred them all. We were originally going to do 4 but at transfer time, we decided just to go all in and do 5 and hope that at least one does well on the inside and decided to pull through. FATHERS DAY QUESTION: How is fathers day for everyone? Do you find OH is moody or acts like he doesn't care? My day was a mess of things and my OH has kids so this question doesn't pertain to me BUT I know on mothers day people on here were not happy so I wonder if it effects the men as much!
AFM: Today technically would be day 5 for my embabies but because its sunday I really didn't think I would get a call and to my delight the head of the embabies dept. gave me a call. In a crazy frustrating day I got a glimmer of hope!! One is ready for testing and the others are still in it...shes hoping to get one or two more tomorrow.....praying with everything they will pull through!! If you've been following my grading you will find it interesting that the first that made it to blast was a regular fert and originally was a 2AB on day 2 and just perked right up...so praying that is a normie fighter right there!!

AFM- I have an update, kind of. The clinic emailed on Thursday and said we should know at the end of the week if our first choice donor is available and eligible. I am insisting my RE looks at her first cycle and provides her opinion, even if the clinic says it was good enough to still be a donor. If she is borderline at all, we will probably wait for our next choice donor to be available at the end of July. With what we are paying, we are hoping for 6-10 day 5 embryos, so if her first cycle wasn't near that, we probably wouldn't proceed. However, we really really like her (physically, profile responses, etc), so please send prayers she is willing, available, and eligible to donate for us!

So I've had a rough weekend and tried to just stay off of here and not even think baby. I spotted on Friday and did not feel well Saturday like crampy all over. And very emotional for the slightest things. Cried myself to sleep last night cause I really didn't want to go in for testing today I just didn't want that BFN again. Well it wasn't my Beta was 721. I go back Wed for another test and us will be in 2 weeks. She wanted to schedule it but I didn't want to genx it. She said it sounds like I've been dehydrated this weekend and this summer is going to be very hard on me. I will need to wear my compression stocking as soon as I can get a new pair ordered. I guess my 6th FET with 2 6day frosties was what I needed.

Anyhoo the lady seemed a lil confused BUT I think I have another 5AA today, not sure why it wouldn't be called a 6AA, I'll take it either way. She was confused by my chart but said they're still watching the other 2 BUT she didn't sound hopeful, so i'm hoping these are just the 2 that I need! @Hopeful_mom I'm sometimes amazed at how confused my lab/clinic is when I call. It seems like if this is something you do on a daily basis, that it shouldn't be that difficult to give out the information. So does this mean you have 2 to send off for PGS testing from this cycle with potentially two more? That is awesome!!!

thucks if ur going to POAS I would say do to it sooner then later or when u do DONT freak out if the line isnt super dark! I say this as I was telling another IF friend on a thread to test as she waited for a while, I explained how great it was to FINALLY see that squinter...however because her hcg got so high it no longer can be detected. Just throwing that out there just in case

thucks excited for your beta!!! you have such will power! I made it to the day before beta so i was pretty proud of myself...BUT I still caved
AFM: Had my RE appt today so I was able to get my full report!! I have some fighters on my hand so hoping this is a good sign in the end. Day 5, I got the one 5AA and on day 6 I got the other 2 at 5AA woohoo!!! My lil ladies are already striving for excellence. Even my late fertilized one was still going on day 7 but I think it's a wrap on that one. So 3 are ready to go! Praying they all come back to me normal.
Finally taking the next step for FET, I kind of can't believe it's finally time. Looks like I will learn the joy of pio but hopefully not everyday if my levels are on point. We did some time of test that I requested to make sure all is good in the hood down below, its similar to a pap smear but (TMI) I am in so much pain right now OMG!! I dont know if its also the heat mixed with the friction of the day but holy geez!! I'm hoping the swelling will go down. I swear being a chic is stuff and i'm so sensitive to begin with
And My RE was in a good mood, I think pregnancy agrees with her and shes much friendlier to me, glad it only took so many cycles! Anyhoo I told her that I share that she tells me how old I am and she stated "no, thats not true, your ovaries are just old" thanks Doc!
