I had the best dinner last night and I plan on repeating it again today. Ham (heated) and Vermont white cheddar on ciabatta with tomato and wasabi mayo. With spicy jalapeno chips. Yum.
At work today I have oatmeal, a banana, raspberries/strawberries/blueberries, and a larabar.
Lots of fresh fruit and veggies with Catalina salad dressing. Also croissants. All the croissants. I've been heating up some turkey in a pan and rolling it up with kraft singles as well. It's been delicious.
This is the first morning I've had an actual appetite, so I went ahead and indulged and got an ultimate meat and cheese burrito with tater tots from Sonic.

My food aversions have finally subsided for the most part...so I was able to have tilapia, rice, and fruit for dinner last night. I've been back to eating mostly healthy foods. But, I also brought a box of cheese itz into bed with me at 10 pm last night so...you win some you lose some.
Yesterday I went to the grocery store after a 12 hr night shift for some milk, and apparently when I'm tired I have no self discipline and shop like a 12 yr old with a credit card. I bought all the junk I usually resist: ice cream, jalapeño poppers, pizza, sour candy, toaster strudels (thanks to a thread here). I don't even know if my nausea would let me eat much of it. I've been eating lots of soup.
Homemade calzone for a late lunch yesterday. I wanted a pizza-like food and still do right now. Give me all the pizza! Many other foods are just yuck or gag.
@britmanering73 Right! I hope they don't disappoint. I have an air fryer which makes freezer foods like fries, egg rolls, and breaded fish fillets super crispy without deep frying. So not feeling too guilty.
@britmanering73 I got mine from Bed Bath and Beyond. It's the Phillips brand one, but there are a lot of them on the market. When I purchased, Phillips had the best reviews, but it's been a few years so things may have changed. You may want to check QVC too because sometimes they have awesome bundle deals with the appliance and lots of accessories. It's cool cause you could even bake with it, and it doesn't heat the house like running the oven.
Girls - I have been eating mac 'n cheese. And while that by itself may not seem so bad...twice now I have eaten the ENTIRE box all by myself. Made with whole milk and lots of butter.
Oh and toast with butter, peanut butter and bananas...sooooo yummy...
@caeilievalor you are not alone! That was my dinner for a full week when my food aversions started. Full box of blue box by myself with whole milk and butter. It was THE BEST.
@chadyse I'm weirdly into tomato based foods too. I don't usually like raw tomatoes in anything, but give them to me in salads, lettuce or pasta, and I love it!
I don't really have any food aversions. I just can't stop eating carbs. I'm already on the heavy side and I'm not supposed to gain more than 20lbs this pregnancy. All these carbs are not good...but they taste so good! I keep telling myself I'll be better in the second tri.
A lot of the food aversions are starting to go away and the cravings are hitting hard...for things I don't typically eat. We went out to brunch today and I got a craft breakfast burrito with home fries. It was huge and I ate half of it in about 3 minutes. Normally, I'm a pancakes and fresh fruit gal.
Also, I bought BOLOGNA today on our weekly grocery trip. I don't think I've had that since I was a kid, yet a fried bologna and cheese sandy with mustard sounds awesome.
I've literally been living off of bran muffins. I have this 6weeks recipe (lasts in fridge 6wks) and it's amazing. I bake a few fresh ones every day and pretty much eat one for every meal. A good slab of butter and strawberry jam.
I can eat pretty much ANYTHING now. Smells? Now THAT's a different story. Browning hamburger, gag. Drove through dead skunk smell, gag times two. Everything else is A-ok!
Yesterday DH made jalapeno popper dip using jalapenos from our garden and it was seriously the best thing I've eaten in a while. Not even the tiniest bit healthy but omg so good!
We had our dinner at DH's uncle's last night for Father's Day and they had cod. I HATE seafood, but I tried a little bit-didn't like it, no surprise, but DD absolutely loved it. She ate so much fish and I had to smell it on her all night. Blech.
I haven't been able to open this thread for weeks bc I have not been getting along with food. My nausea game has been strong. I came here for inspiration today bc I think I might be slowly improving! I woke up at 6 am from hunger and after trying to go back to sleep I caved and went to the fridge. Ugh a stale chocolate chip waffle. For breakfast the kiddos and I ate Honey Nut Cheerios. I'm still not loving food these days, despite the hunger.
All the orange juice. Blueberry scones. Fruit. Cereal.
Thankfully after starting the B6/Unisome combo under my doctor's suggestion my nausea and morning sickness has been very mild and I've been able to eat normal meals for lunch and dinner.

Baby #4 on the way!
I don't even know if my nausea would let me eat much of it. I've been eating lots of soup.
@jjvanwagner25 Yes alllll the French fries. That was me before being pregnant LOL!
@LemmyRN You sound like me from my recent grocery trip. Now I want jalapeno poppers.
@ottergirl81 Yes all the pizza. No matter what is on it (minus anchovies)

And apparently this baby thinks sweets are evil. I ate a Rice Krispie Treat earlier today and my stomach was NOT happy afterward.

I haven't been able to eat meat, period. Tonight DH made an amazing quinoa salad that I'm going to grub on, egg salad for lunch and PB and jelly!
I will only be 7 weeks tomorrow! Hoping that the nausea levels out. I didn't have any MS with DD.

Baby is the size of a lime, so I made a key lime pie. Isn't settling well on the stomach but it was worth it:)
