shauna43 yes that is correct. My confusion was my day 2 report it sounded like there was only 3 and one was a 2bc then on day 3 i had 3 back in the running. Praying I get good news on monday and we have a few for testing!

2MomsHoping I wrote on the other thread as well and I cried and cried. I got my results in 2 batches which made it even worse as one round was all abnormal. I was more hopeful as well as I had 3/4 that were perfection and only 1 was normal, my other normal had a lesser grade, so you never can tell! Sorry u have to wait till Jan to transfer.

@2momshoping- I know you wished for more normals, but I am SO happy that you got 2 at least! hopefully those are your take home babies!! That is so hard to wait until January for transfer

can you use your coverage for another ER to try to get more, since you are on hold for transfer?

hi ladies!! About to get my shots ready and figured to give my update.

I was about ready to puke this am!! After 6 tries and 3 different nurses my body still didn't want to give any blood this morning, did you ever. They felt terrible but my body just wasn't having it. I did give bw friday so they went off of that and my US to make sure i could start stemming today. I was nervous i would have a cyst or something growing as i felt i was getting some strange zings through the week BUT tech said that things look really good. So hopefully this is my last cycle of ivf, lucky #7 right

Assuming my PGS results will becoming in the next few days...could've been today if not for the holiday but we know how that goes. Can't believe how much worse I felt with them getting no blood as opposed to when they get blood. That time they took 30 vials after my MC I felt better that day then I did today....go figure.

Hi All, I'm back... I see I've got a lot of catching up to do and I will get on it ASAP.

Hopeful_mom good to see you doing strong out there, may this cycle be the one, lucky number 7!!!

It will take me a while to get up to date with this board and meanwhile I wanted to see if any of you have experience of Natural IVF cycle?
I'm now on my 5th IVF, doing it as a natural one with very little meds - no stims, aiming for one good egg, retrieval without anesthesia and high hopes of this resulting in the miracle we've been waiting for. I'm currently on CD 8 with leading follicle 11 and some smaller ones. I have not started any meds, two days ago got two at 11 but obviously second one started shrinking

I have another scan and blood work in two days and honestly don't know what to expect so really back on the rodeo.

IfYouCanDreamIt hey chica nice to see u! glad to see u back at wishing u all the best! It sounds like you're doing a mini ivf cycle? will u be doing any meds? I had a friend that did mini ivf and did have success! But she did use some meds. are you doing icis after the ER?

Hopeful_mom yup after I had such a poor response to high doze of meds we moved onto mini IVF and the current mindset is to do max couple of these until starting to look into other options. I do have some Menopur and Cetrotide but not sure yet what will be the dozes, and I will be triggering with Ovitrelle. Our RE is positive that there won't be need for icis and I pray he's right.
How are you feeling? I admire how you can do IVF cycle after another, you certainly are strong like all the women on this board.

@littledarlins how often do you have monitoring? I feel like every two days is a lot, but I guess it could just be that I'm generally busier than I've been on my previous IVF cycles.

IfYouCanDreamIt funny you're saying ur having a lot of monitoring usually its less with mini ivf. Hopefully this will be the trick for you! Its hard doing cycle after cycle for sure! I'm exhausted and super stressed all the time BUT I just dont have any time to waste...I'm very excited knowing this will be my hopefully last ivf cycle and then on to the FET - please g-d!! Its sad the one cycle o had off from week and shouldve been stress free i got no normies back...how is that possible right!! IF sucks!!

@hopeful_mom I know you were hoping for more, but 2 normal embryos is great! Hopefully this cycle will you a few more and then you can be on to the next step!

AFM - Sh*t's getting real over here. We completed the intended parents questionnaire last night which is basically what we are looking for in a gestational carrier and a little bit about ourselves and will be submitting the signed attorney contract today along with the initial check (gulp!). I'm not 100% sure what the next steps are from here but I think basically waiting until our attorney finds us a match, which will most likely be a few months. I'm still planning on trying another FET at the end of July/early August just to see if my lining responds at all but I'm not holding my breath. As much as I'm sick to my stomach about having to use a surrogate and pay an obscene amount of money, I'm excited to be moving forward.

mtpbadger congrats on getting the process started, I'm sure theres a lot of thoughts u will have to process throughout but still exciting!! Good you can try again and maybe you're body will feel more relaxed knowing there is another option out there.

@mtpbadger- glad to hear your update and that you selected the agency!! I hear you about the money... donor egg isn't near as much as GC but still a chunk of change!! It will all be worth it but sometimes I still get bitter that so many can have children with no expense at all!! Keep us posted and hopefully the last FeT attempt will work before you even need a GC!

Just got my call transfer is Thursday at 12:45 eastern so 11:45 My time. I'm so anxious ready to do this. Now we are unsure if we want to transfer 2 Or go all I'm with the 3 we have left. I have butterflies in my tummy just thinking about that.

AFM: Realized this board has been a bit quite and haven't posted my update...good news is I got my PGS back and 2 out of the 3 came back woo hoo was my first reaction - something finally in my favor for a cycle right

Regardless of the out come I was moving on with IVF #7...now I"m trying to get at least one normie of the other gender. Not sure though how on board my body is - I've started cycle 7 - yay me! My bdy has been responding much slower this round so this cycle should be easy breezy for me but yet I'm still stressing boooo!!
Today I had a special treat and my RE did my monitoring today - I mean what a surprise that was!! I told her I was a bit concerned and she felt like everything was fine as I usually progress late...I just reminded her that I think its a lil later then my usual. She still saw the 3 on the right but they didn't grow all that much in 2 days all still under 9. This was funny she's not sure if she saw 2 or 3 on the Left. The 2 on the left grew to 12 and 13.5 so i'm adding the cetritide tonight in hopes the smaller ones can catch up and keep growing with these two. The big concern is what if they dont!! My E2 did rise in the 200s now so have to hope on thursday my report will be ever better then that!! I have a feeling this is going to be my longest stemming cycle! Hoping all this cooking are making them super strong eggs!

@Hopeful_mom Yes we will decided right before we go into transfer the embryologist will tell us how well the thawed and what her recommendation is. I'm just hoping that at least 1 will be hatching we have yet to see that with these frozen embryos. GL with your stemming you have better patients than me to keep banking these embryos.

TMI TW all that good stuff. I work 8-4:30 DH works 3-11 M-F so we really don't see each other except for Sat and Sun. My MIL lives with us and we have the 2 girls. So BD is few and far between (fyi that not our cause of IF lol) I was at the hospital all day yesterday with my mom for her knee surgery. And of course our calendar says BD for yesterday. I was so not in the mood to stay up till midnight last night. But..... I just got the girls to sleep at 9 and in comes DH early from work. He must have read my mind. He says he was worried about my mom and wanted to know how I was doing and wanted to make sure I got some sleep. He's so sweet. Needless to say we got our required BD in lol. The joys of IF when BD has to be scheduled not just for fun any more.

19 hrs and 22 min left til my transfer not that I am counting or anything lol.
@Hopeful_mom I have to have a laugh in all this some how and I felt the need to share it with all of you since we are probably in the same boat with the BD requirements lol. This is our last round of frozen embies. Insurance will cover one more FRESH transfer and then we are done but I'd really prefer to just be done with a BFP this round

Transfer went well today. I finally had a Hatcher we transferred a 5ba hatching and 3bb. I was literally in the bed with thing in my hoha before we decided to only transfer 2 not 3. He said they look great and the placement was perfect.

@JamieH2000 I will get a call today with the status on the 3rd one but it doesn't sound like we will be refreezing it. It hadn't responded at all yesterday so she didn't see it being viable to survive a thaw and refreeze.

AFM: seems i'm still in it. So after some acupuncture and another day on meds the right side has seemed to perk up a bit...I laugh I can count all my follies and have a close personal relationship with all of them

My right now has a 13.5 and 15, left 20.5 and 17.5 SO I'm still doing another day of stems, I dont want to lose the big one BUT last cycle the big one was empty and then the smaller one wasn't mature enough. I would just like to avoid that and get all 4 This round! My E2 is in the 400 zone so I might almost want to push for 2 more days of meds...but i get the feeling they will want to trigger me tomorrow. Lets hope the right one will get a nice boost and the left side will just hang out....I ask so much of my body dont i

Back for bw and US in the morning! Hate having to go every day but gotta do it!

thucks I"m sure it wasn't and easy decision and I know my OH wouldve said no! Glad you got to do the two!

AFM: After more acupuncture and another day of meds my right side showed some improvements 18,14, left is 19, 20...tech measure differently so hoping that everything is ok still on the left. This is also the first time i split my meds and only put the gonalf on the right. At first I was just going to put all the meds on the right but my acupuncturist mentioned gonal f is stronger and to only use that on the side. HI DOC!! I've been doing this for how long now maybe you shouldve mentioned that to me at some point. I'd like to think it helped SO since my prog. is still at bay thank goodness I get to go for one my day of stemming and I believe tomorrow will be my trigger and then ER on monday. Praying I got 4 nice strong ones to go!!!

AFM I got back on taking a break sooner than I hoped... My 5th IVF was a bust - ER didn’t go as planned as from the 3 aspired only one had an egg and it was fertilized with two sperm. If nothing else I’m definitely learning a lot from this journey, until now I didn’t even know that polyspermy was a possibility. We just came back from our WTF meeting and plan is to get back to stimming cycle and IVF #6 in end of July.

IfYouCanDreamIt hey I was wondering how things were going, that so crazy that the 2 sperm were such champions and must've made it in at the exact same time, I'm so sorry your cycle ended that way!! The other 3 eggs aspirated? What did your RE think happened? Are you doing another mini ivf? or full IVF cycle?

The other follicles were empty.. RE was hoping with mini IVF we'd get one golden egg but the polyspermy made it chromosomally abnormal. We'll be doing another full IVF cycle, not looking forward to the meds but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right? When are you planning to do FET? Thinking of you x

@IfYouCanDreamIt I'm so sorry about your cycle bust. I have a feeling that I might be right there with you in the next couple of days...
@Hopeful_mom When's your retrieval?
AFM, I've been quiet but just did another IVF cycle and am triggering tonight. It has been my yuckiest cycle ever and I only have two candidates for retrieval. Since I have insurance coverage and they count this as a cycle no matter if I convert to IUI or not, my doctor thinks I should go through with the retrieval. I'm not expecting much. I have two frosties left after this that I'm going to try but I think after that, that it's time for me to listen to my body which seems to be telling me that it's done. My husband has been somewhat against donor eggs but after having a talk this weekend and after really realizing that this just may not work out for us the way we hoped, he's on board with moving onto a donor. I'm relieved. I've been ready to think about a donor for about six months but I didn't want to force his hand. It makes me feel better that we have a plan going forward even if this cycle turns out badly. I think that's the only thing that gives me the strength to keep moving forward with all of this.

@radmom27- good to hear from you!! I really hope you get 2 magic eggs tomorrow!! And so happy your husband is open to donor. It's a hard decision but it's so nice to have a back up plan in place. But hopefully you won't need it! Please keep us posted!

@JamieH2000 For the first time in over a year, I feel hope again. I'm not completely counting out this cycle or a frozen, but am so relieved that both hubby and I are ready to move on. I just can't keep doing this to myself anymore and I think the universe is shouting at me not to. I kind of feel like a huge weight has been lifted.

@JamieH2000 I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We're going to do this fresh cycle and hope we get at least one egg. We'll probably due a frozen transfer in August and then move onto a donor if we're not successful.
How's the donor process going for you? Are you thinking of doing a fresh or frozen donor? I know nothing about this process.

It must be the weather as my cycle has been cooky! I'm kind of shocked that your insurance gets to decide. If your clinic want to convert it how can they say no and count it as a full cycle! Everything happens for a reason and lets hope that these are your super golden eggs! Its great having a back up plan and i'm glad you do hopefully that can relax you!

IfYouCanDreamIt you've been through a lot already and I'm really glad you're not giving up! You sound like me, girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! It is quality over quantity! The cycle I finally got the most eggs I came back with nothing so I'm trying to keep reminding myself of that! I'm excited for your next cycle!

ER is less then 12hrs away now....woo hoo!!

So I learned something new today - and didn't even think of asking this question sooner. This is in regards to my follies and placement. Apparently I was injecting the wrong side...I swear no one pays attention when I talk WTH!! I told my acupuncture the size of my follies right and left however I learned today that the machine says right but its really the left and vs versa. Is that possible I guess didn't think much about it and then I gave the wrong side the extra dosage of med

ugh this process!!! I guess this means its really working through my blood and getting to the right eggs! Just annoying for me, as I'm clearly explaining my results BUT I was pointing to the left when saying the left. I feel more confused then before and really hoping I dont have to go through it again! Looking forward to getting this over with tomorrow!!
Really hope they are mature and healthy eggs! I think i'm ready to move on to a transfer I literally stemmed for 2 weeks this cycle it was not fun! I've been bruising up a storm just hoping everything is ok!

@radmom27- thanks for asking! Lots of waiting in the donor process. Hoping our first choice will be available and willing to donate again in a few weeks. We are doing fresh to hopefullly give us more embryos and maybe more than one kid. Really hoping I can get to transfer by end of sept or earlier since that's my 30th birthday. I know that's still really young, but the last two birthdays have been pretty sad, including my golden birthday. Not sure I can take another dark cold winter of sadness if I'm not pregnant by then

I usually just alternate sides every night so I bruise evenly everywhere

@JamieH2000 I totally get the sentiment about celebrating birthdays...I think my birthday is the time that all of this hits me the hardest. Hopefully your donor will be able to donate soon and you can be PUPO in September!! It's right around the corner!!

OH and I carry enough fat everywhere, I just choose the tummy thinking its getting to where it needs to go etc. I just find that this cycle I seem to be bruising more then the other cycles. Lord knows I over think everything during this process! And yes birthdays are hard and I haven't celebrated the way I would have liked for the past few. Turning 40 was suppose to be a big fun party and I just couldn't do it...hoping 2018 will be the magic! Its crazy saying that as I finally got the bfp in 2016 u kno...u just dont think things will turn out the way that they do.

I don't think I'm old, but its hard at this age in a different way, since its sooo easy for all my friends under 30. Out of probably 20-30 friends/good acquantiances, only maybe 5-7 haven't had a child in the past 2 years. Definitely a lonely path. It wouldn't be so hard going through all this if everyone else in my life didn't keep getting pregnant and having kids. Just a constant reminder of what I can't make happen or have right now. But- really really hoping I am within 3 months of a BFP!
