Ladies! These are fantastic name suggestions!! DH and I have a hard time agreeing too...he has a lot of rules about names. Lol.

@oxinfree yikes I'm so sorry about your abs! Sending healing thoughts your way! Also-looove Beau. What a wonderful name!

@ChocolateIsLife good luck with your crazy weekend! Where are you registering? I decided we are doing Amazon and that's it--that way I get to do it all while lying on my couch lol. It's been so overwhelming for me!! Do you have an idea of what you're registering for?

@oxinfree ouch!  I winced when I read your post. Love the name Beau. Will he be named Beau or Beauregard?

@srh18 glad you asked about names. Love reading the different suggestions.  Amazon is a great place to register!  I'm at A couple of places and wished I had just registered at amazon only.

@ChocolateIsLife have fun this weekend!  Hope you get some rest.

    Thanks @Kp214 and @srh18

The BBQ was nice. I'm thinking this is related to pregnancy brain, but I could have sworn it was with a different group of friends who live across town. When we left the house DH kept walking past our car, and it was actually BBQ at our neighbors.  :D we know too many people with the name Mike, lol. Eta I should have assumed it was the neighbor because he does BBQ competitions.

I JUST decided yesterday that we are only registering at Amazon for that very reason @srh18  ! We just want to physically check out some stuff before adding it, but we pretty much need everything. We are just going to put everything on the registry, and then check off as we buy stuff.

  • @srh18 (or anyone registering!) I loved the website Lucies List, she has up to date recommendations for best everything- bottles, carriers, strollers, etc. I asked around for favorites from friends but used her website a ton. I need a new baby carrier this time around and am back on her site even now :) every kid is so different but I can give our favorite things if you need any specific recommendations!
  • @Kp214 - Considering Eric and I can't really pronounce Beauregard properly, I think we'll stick with naming him officially by the short ;) haha.

@Polythene Pam - agree! Lucie's list is a great resource.

@ChocolateIsLife we did it the exact same way! It's more of a comprehensive shopping list of the things we need, and we figure we can pull from it too. It seems to make it easier having everything in one place. I did tons of in-life (like at buy buy baby) and Internet (LOVE Lucie's List @Polythene Pam ) research and then spent literally like eight hours picking colors and patterns and making sure we had no duplicates and only stuff we really need/want on there. I have a fear of my house becoming an episode of Hoarders: Triplets Edition so we tried to bare bones it as much as possible. It's hard to know how much stuff you really need with three. (Honestly I'm not sure I would feel differently with one lol)

@Kp214 I feel for you! I remember registering for our wedding at a few places and seriously stressing over what to register for where so we didn't end up with two of everything...think price comparison spreadsheets and the like.  Completely crazy!!

anyone cloth diapering? Once DH and I did the math of how much it would cost to diaper three babies, we are giving it a try for sure. I'm hoping it's not the thing that's going to push me over the edge into crazy town lol
  • Ok I'm definitely checking out Lucie's List! I'm still trying to figure out which co-sleeper/bassinet to choose for the first months.

  • @LeFemmeViolette - well done! looks fabulous!

@srh18 - I have had friends cloth diaper. I think you should plan to have some disposables for when they first come home, but definitely doable, and should save you on some costs (though be prepared for a higher water bill ;) ) I've opted to not, but I was definitely on the fence. We may end up changing our minds once we get the hang of things though... we'll see.

  • @LeFemmeViolette love!!! Great job!!!

@srh18 I have a few friends who cloth diapered and loved it! Obviously more laundry but their kids seemed to potty train earlier too (something about disposable whisks pee away where they're more aware in cloth so often potty train sooner). One ran into an issue with daycare refusing to do cloth so only mentioning it in case you're doing daycare, but they all cloth diapered for all their kids. My one friend travels a lot and buys disposable then, says traveling with cloth is a pain but great the rest of the time.
