    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 20/5

    TWW - Timing: -3, -2, 0

TWW - Testing: I'm a sap and will probably POAS June 18 (father's day) @ 12dpo. If it's +: happy Father's Day DH! If it's neg then it may be too early so it's ok

    R/R:

CS/Q: temp is still high, which I think is just so interesting. First cycle temping bbt and I'm just so amazed at what my body can do!

GTKY: What is your favorite dish that you/your SO cooks? Dutch baby! I could eat like 50 every day and they're so easy!

  • Loading the player...
  • @JennyColada - FX for a Father's Day BFP!
  • @JennyColada - FX you get a BFP next week!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2 (1 AL)

    CD/DPO: CD 6

WTO - WAYDTGKU: At the moment, only PNVs

R/R: Because I didn't need any intervention after my loss, my doctor thinks my cycle will go back to normal fairly quickly. We won't be HIO until the bleeding has stopped, but we both agree that we don't want to wait before TTC.

    CS/Q: Nada

GTKY: What is your favorite dish that you/your SO cooks? It really depends on my mood. So right now, chocolate chip cookies.

  • @JennyColada not to get hopes up but high BBT is sign of KU, just saying. Good Luck!

@kindbytealikat very interesting! I plan to keep temping so we will see what it does!

@ChloandCoco very excited for you to continue with TTC! GL!
  • @JennyColada, I can't wait to hear from you! Father's Day would be a perfect BFP day!! I'm seconding the "high temperature" comment from @kindbytealikat! Sometimes it'll dip and go back up. *TW* when I got my BFP with DS I had a dip at 5DPO and then rose up. *TW*

@ChloandCoco, I'm sorry to see you back here, but hoping for a good month for you!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 9

R/R: not much going on here. I had a fun date night with DH last night! It was our first one in a LONG time.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What is your favorite dish that you/your SO cooks? Any pasta! Spaghetti and homemade mac & cheese are probably my 2 favorites.

@ChloandCoco: We'll be hinting about you and your appointment this week. Hoping for some good news.
@JNCPro3130: So glad you all had a great date night!

  • hey, ladies - so we have to postpone TTC. DH found out on Friday that his contract was being discontinued at work, and he was officially done working Friday. We don't feel it would be prudent to TTC until he has a new position.

But i am sadly SO bummed about the whole thing. My next period was supposed to start on my birthday, and I had this vision in my head of trying, testing on my birthday and getting that beautiful BFP as a birthday gift.

I'm going to step away from here for a little while - it's just so hard to keep thinking about, especially feeling like this was finally going to be it.

Good luck to all of you, esp @notthefather, @JennyColada, @ChloandCoco, and @JNCPro3130 - hope you get your BFP's soon!

@glitzandglitter, @kindbytealikat @brittanym211 - hope you all get to start trying soon! apologies if I missed any of you!

    CD/DPO: ???

WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, meant to temp but so far it's been a fail and I'm not even sure if I should try

R/R: just working through the side effects of coming off birth control and waiting to see what happens. Last time I went off this BC I tracked temps and caught that I ovulated 20 days later, before I had any bleeding.

CS/Q: I'm not even sure how/if I should be trying to temp until I have a period.

GTKY: What is your favorite dish that you/your SO cooks? Enchiladas or baked spaghetti. We don't do much elaborate cooking. My husband is the pickiest adult eater ever.

  • Oh @catlady2015 I'm so sorry  :( I hope he finds something new very soon and you guys get back on track.

CS/Q: Not a question persay but my temps are all over the place. CD 8 my temp shot up from 96.38 to 96.93 and stayed around there until this morning when it plumetted to 96.13. If I have a "normal" cycle I should O this week but my temps are so all over it's going to be hard to tell. I'll just watch mucous I guess they are not showing O yet.

GTKY: DH isn't much of a cook but I cook a lot and enjoy cooking, although I prefer baking. I think I make a really good lasagna and enchiladas. My favorite is probably my potato soup though.

  • @catlady2015 - I am so sorry :( I hope that your husband finds something soon and that your TTC plans don't get delayed for too long. I completely understand why you are taking a bump break but we will miss seeing you around here. Hugs
  • @notthefather - If it was me I would go ahead and temp. You might gain something from it or it might be useless - but the biggest thing for me is getting in the habit of temping and this extra time could help with that :)
  • @kindbytealikat I felt like my pre-O temps were super wonky as well, but I was really surprised that my O temp shot up enough that it was super obvious (and has stayed there mostly). I was totally able to find my O date based on CM too, but it was nice to have the temps as a back up confirmation.

@catlady2015 I'm sorry to hear about YH's contract! I know how much much stress financial stuff can bring. Take care of yourself and we look forward to seeing you around soon!

  • @JennyColada Good luck with the Father's Day stick! I googled Dutch baby and that sounds really tasty!

@ChloandCoco That absolutely makes sense that you guys don't want to wait. I hope the next cycle is the right one!

@JNCPro3130 Pasta is wonderful! I have a super easy recipe for alfredo sauce if you want it :)

@catlady2015 I'm so sorry to hear that :( I definitely understand your reasoning behind it, as much as it sucks. I do hope that he finds a new position soon (both for financial and TTC reasons). Take as much time away as you need.

@notthefather What sort of things does your husband like, given that he's picky? Good luck with the side effects! They're not fun.

@kindbytealikat Not a clue about your temps, since mine tend to be all over as well. What kind of potato soup do you make?

GTKY: What is your favorite dish that you/your SO cooks? I'm a foodie and a professional cook, so it's hard for me to pick just one dish. That being said, I've gotten really good at comfort/classic foods. I make an excellent roast chicken, homemade meatballs, and I can also make fresh pasta from scratch (except that I don't have a roller). As far as what DH cooks... He makes a mean frozen pizza, lmao.

  • @dreamscapes_ DH makes his own pasta as well! We use the Kitchen Aid attachment (it's so easy to use!).
  • @JennyColada My DH keeps asking if I want the attachment, lol. I haven't decided yet if I want that or a stand alone roller.

  • @dreamscapes_ I used to have one of the clamp on rollers, and I liked the manual feel of it. But after using the attachment I'll never go back. Lol. It's just so much easier to use as one person and you don't have to work about maneuvering around the clamp to get to a non-odd angle.
  • @JennyColada I'll probably get the attachment, I just keep waffling on it, lol :)

  • @JennyColada - I really want the kitchenaid pasta attachment! But, I wouldn't have time to make fresh pasta, so it would be a waste right now.
  • I just want a Kinchenaid again :(

  • @glitzandglitter: I tend to agree. I temped when I went off BC last time and it seemed to work. I finally figured out how to get the temp recall on my new thermometer so maybe I'll start tomorrow. I'm surprisingly chill about this.
@dreamscapes_: He will not eat anything labeled as or resembling a casserole, no condiments whatsoever, no fruit, nothing with a red sauce, no potatoes, nothing with anything "floating" in it, no eggs, and nothing he hasn't already tried before  :D He will eat most meat, bread, cheese, yogurt without fruit, very select vegetables, and basically any non-fruit dessert.

  • @notthefather so basically just steak and sandwiches? :P
  • @kindbytealikat I was the same. My temps were usually 96.3-96.9 I think, but when I O'd it shot up over 97.7 a couple times.

  • You got it @JennyColada! Haha! We eat fish and roasted brussell sprouts about 4 days a week. Haha, whatever works.

He won't eat all that, but he'll eat brussell sprouts @notthefather?! BLECH. I HATE brussell sprouts, so I figured that'd be the first to go off his list. :P

Random: I was talking to DH about pregnancy stuff, and was explaining food cravings/aversions and how they can make you love food you hate and hate food you love and he told me "great, I will be sure to stock up on brussell sprouts for when you decide that they're great."

  • I know, right @JennyColada?! IMO, there is only one way to cook brussel sprouts and them be eatable. He's a strange man none-the-less.

  • @JennyColada and @notthefather - Brussel sprouts are awesome! I really like them raw in salads or sauteed in butter. yummy.
  • @notthefather It almost sounds like you're married to Joey from Friends, lol.

@ChloandCoco I love Brussels sprouts as well! DH loathes them, so I just get the microwave steamer bags and eat them that way.

  • Haha @dreamscapes_! It really can be frustrating. We drizzle our brussel sprouts in olive oil, add salt and fresh pepper, then roast them until they brown. It's delicious. I loathe brussel sprouts in any other form though.

  • @kindbytealikat on FF (website) there is a link to "Share" and I just copied the code and pasted it in the signature section for TB (make sure you click on the "html" portion). After that I clicked back onto "regular" view on TB and was able to easily re-size the thumbnail picture. It was actually pretty easy!

  • @kindbytealikat yay I see your chart! How frustrating! Hopefully you two can make it work tonight!
  • Poll time: Should I order just my FRERs on Amazon on Thursday for Saturday (2-day) delivery to use Sunday morning, or should I add another item (to total the $35 required amount) on Friday and do free 1 day shipping? :P There isn't really anything else I "need", but I'm sure I can find something!
  • @JennyColada - You should buy a second pack of FRER, that way you will have extra tests and it would bump you to the $35 for one day shipping.
