  • @MississippiCatfish @bcashaw coconut and lemon all in one dessert?? All it needs is some nuts and raisins to be the worst ever! (No offense @MississippiCatfish  )

  • Coffee cake is yum though

@MississippiCatfish coffee cake is hands down my favorite. I bought two pieces (one for me and one for dh) two days ago. Ate them both before he got home. It's the thought that counts, right? :) I guess I am an old person but I absolutely love coffee cake <3 All the hearts for coffee cake !

  • UO: I think banana desserts are delicious. Even makeshift banana cream pie cups made out of banana pudding with graham crackers and whipped cream. Mmmm.

I feel like others think this is weird? Does banana fall under old people desserts too?
My mom used to make this with the premade graham cracker crusts, so good!
  • RiverSong15   I can't stand when people refer to their mom or dad in a conversation to me or another as "Dad said this" instead of "My dad said this." I mean, if we are lucky, we all have a parents but it's not a name so the "my" is important. I mean, unless you are talking to a sibling.

As for people's issues with eyebrows, hair curls, crop tops, etc., I obviously don't get out enough. But crop tops were gross in 1987, still gross today. I guess I did see a 50+ woman with a great bod in one a few years ago, but I was like "Jesus, have some decorum." All I can focus on is that my maternity pants are all too wide leg (boot cut) and I feel like a fool. Skinny pants have finally gotten to me. So sad.

  • @peregrinefalconx I feel the same way when people refer to their grandparents as whatever they call them instead of my grandma or my grandpa. That's not MY Pop Pop, stop saying Pop Pop to me.

  • @peregrinefalconx I have 2 pairs of maternity pants that I ordered online and they are both boot cut and just a tad too short. Not a great combo lol

  • liz4382   Ha ha. Yeah, wide legged high waters. My pants today literally flap when I walk. I ordered a pair of skinny jeans from Old Navy (not in yet) and bought a few pairs of work things at MM. Unfortunately, I am not a medium, so now I have more expensive mat stuff that won't get used and I'm forced to wear stretch pants and believe me, I do NOT have the thighs for that.

DuchessOfCambridge  I'm so glad I am not the only one. I only run into it occasionally but even that is too often!!

  • @peregrinefalconx most of my maternity pants are from my first pregnancy 10+ years ago when skinny jeans weren't a thing and they all have very wide legs. :persevere: I primarily wear leggings and the hand me downs from my friend.
  • @MississippiCatfish re: banana things. I'm eating an apple banana fruit wrap from Trader Joe's right now and it's delicious. Bless TJ for making essentially adult fruit roll ups.

  • I think I'm just now realizing I usually forget the "my" when I'm talking about anyone but my brother...it's like mentally their name to me so I forget to include "my" but I'm pretty sure I've never realized this before?? Woah.

also now I'm starving. Thanks y'all.
