*How long were you active on TTGP and when?
February-Summer 2016
*How far along are you?
2w2d postpartum
*Which birth month board/due date?
I was due today but baby girl chose a different birthday.
*Team Pink/Blue/Green?
Pink!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it.
She's Cadyn
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
This is the hardest thing I've ever had the privilege of doing. I look at her and feel like I could turn the whole damn world upside down if it meant she'd be ok. It's scary and exciting and a whole host of other things all at once.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? Al of 2016 but mostly just the IF stuff in the end
*How far along are you? 30+5
*Which birth month board/due date? A17 / 8-14
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have one of each picked out and of course after settling on them I'm getting nervous that I won't think he/she looks like them so I asked DH if we should have back ups haha
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The nursery is almost done! We went home for Memorial Day weekend and has a shower there and then a shower here in Washington when we got home. I started washing clothes and blankets so I could put them all away and organize. I'm afraid that it's going to sneak up on me so I'm trying to stay ahead!
We live 2,100 miles from any family so when people come to see the baby they'll be staying with us. Has anyone done this before? What ground rules did you lay down ahead of time? I'm less concerned about my parents because I'll say whatever I need to, but my in-laws are needy and not always helpful so I'm stressed just thinking about them coming when baby is ~3 weeks old.
@mokay19 not btdt, but I'm more than 3700 miles from home so people will also stay with us when they visit. I imagine most of our visitors will be our parents and siblings, and thankfully, we have really good relationships with both sides and we're used to living with each other for 2-4 weeks at a time from the past 4 years of overseas living, so I'm not worried about it with them.
Having said that, we're having company stay with us when I'll be 35 weeks pregnant and going back to start the school year before mat leave starts, and I flat out told them: "you are welcome to stay with us as long as you a) are flexible and able to find a hotel last minute if things change (birth of baby, sickness, etc.) b) take care of yourself - you're welcome to any food and things that are in the house, but I won't be cooking for you We won't be good hosts, but if you're good with a roof and access to food, you're welcome"
I think being upfront about what to expect could help. "We will be trying to figure things out, so being good hosts will be the last thing on our minds....so as long as you're fine with that and not looking for a holiday, come on over!"
TTGP history (*TW*):
Started TTC Oct 2015 BFP #1 June 2016: EDD 16 March 2017, MC July 2016 Re-started TTC Aug 2016 Started IF testing Nov 2016 Spontaneous BFP #2 January 2017: Rainbow Baby Boy September 2017 BFP #3 November 2018: Baby #2 expected August 2019
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? July 2016 to April 2017
*How far along are you? 11w today
*Which birth month board/due date? December '17 / EDD is 12/31/17
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Don't know yet. Hoping we might get a guess at the NT scan but are prepared to wait until anatomy scan.
*How
are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have just casually mentioned a few things but no serious discussions yet. Probably not until after we know the sex.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I finally had my first appointment this past week! Everything looked good, and baby is measuring right on target. I have my NT scan in 2 weeks, so now just hoping that's all good since I'm AMA this time, but I'm excited to see baby again. Still lurking here and rooting for everyone!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? Lurked for a few months, active September-October 2016
*How far along are you? 35+3
*Which birth month board/due date? July 17, but I'm not active there
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue!!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Down to a few contenders!
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I have gestational diabetes and a prematurely aging placenta so I'm definitely not going past my due date and I may well get induced earlier, so it's possible this is my last pre-baby check in!!! I wouldn't mind it. Obviously, I want this little guy to stay in until he's perfect, but it hasn't been the easiest pregnancy (besides the GD and placenta issue, I have a nasty case of SPD, so I'm usually in some degree of pain) and I wouldn't mind if he was done cooking a little early. He's measuring almost three weeks ahead, so it seems possible! Still lurking here and rooting for you all!!!
TTC #1: 4/16 BFP #1: 5/16 MMC at 8 weeks: 6/16 BFP #2: 10/16 Sweet baby boy arrived 7/7/17!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? Dirty lurker from Sep 15-Jan 16, active from Feb 16-Oct 16 when we started IVF
*How far along are you? 29+6
*Which birth month board/due date? Aug 22
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Still no changes since the last check-in--we should probably start talking about this soon!
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I just can't believe we're almost in the 30s!! Time is flying by.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? January-April 2017
*How far along are you? 11+2
*Which birth month board/due date? D17 / 12/30
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We will be finding out!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We already had some names we love, but we're trying not to seriously talk about names yet.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The wait between appointments is awful because I have very few symptoms, so I wanted to wait until my second appointment this past Friday to post here. We got to hear the HB and it was 167!
Still miss all of you over here and lurk at least once a day in the hopes of seeing your BFPs!
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? January '17-May '17
*How far along are you? measured 9 wks 5 days at the first (!!!) appointment yesterday
*Which birth month board/due date? Jan '18, due 1/15/18, though I don't participate much. I don't really feel like I have much to add at this point. I follow along but I sort of feel like that kid that skipped a grade but isn't quite up to speed with their new classmates.
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? I was originally Team Green when we first started the TTC process but I'm coming around to finding out when the times comes
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We haven't tossed a single idea out, but I have a few tucked away for when the conversations start
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The wait for the first appointment was so long. I felt like it would never get here. I think I scared the tech when the first image came up on the screen and I yelled "Oh my God! There it is!" It hadn't really felt real to me up until that point. I knew something was making me constantly feel like I just got off the tilt-a-whirl but to actually see was kind of surreal.
Also, I really really really miss it over here. I lurk often and sometimes see threads or topics that I want to comment on and have to restrain myself. I hope all of you ladies are doing well! I keep my fingers crossed for each and every one of you!

My tag got jacked with the random "-2" that got added to my username that I can't seem to shake.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when? April - November 2016
*How far along are you? 35 weeks today. All the eeks!
*Which birth month board/due date? July. EDD was July 21, but now I'm scheduled for a c-section on July 14 (but likely will be earlier). Had my 34 week appointment on Tuesday. Baby has been measuring LARGE since 12 weeks, and they moved my 36 week sono to 34. He measured at 8lbs 7 oz and is breech, so unless this large turkey flips, he won't be coming on his own. We'll measure again on 6/27, and if he's crossed the 9.5lb line and hasn't turned, I'll likely be moved up to 7/7
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Jackson Rhys (Jax)
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm definitely starting to get a bit anxious now that a c-section is an almost certainty. I was hoping to avoid it, but it is what it is! My husband says feeding the dogs is hard, so knowing I'm going to have to rely a little more heavily on him for the first little bit is a little scary LOL Joking aside, I'm getting super excited and ready to meet this monkey!
My tag didn't work, either, and I apparently just couldn't find this post until today. So, here we go!
How long were you active on TTGP and when? Lurked Sep-Oct '16, active Oct-Dec16.
*How far along are you? 28+0!!
*Which birth month board/due date? S17/ 09.08.17
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue! Team Boy Mom all the way here.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Lol, some day. We tend to lean towards Scottish/ Welsh/ Irish names and spellings- DS1 is Rhys (pronounced Reece, Welsh spelling), so we may end up going in that direction again.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm officially 3rd tri today! My ankles started swelling a couple days ago, so they obviously know what's up. Otherwise, everything is going great!
We're starting to prep DS1 for moving into his toddler bed in a few weeks, so the crib will be heading to the nursery next month. There's a good chance this LO will come a little bit early, as DS1 was born after I had a membrane sweep at 39+3, so we're trying to prepare as much as possible in August. My happiest news is that I fought the insurance company for denying my short term disability application at Open Enrollment last fall (because I was pregnant by the time I had the physical, in January), and I *won*, so my maternity leave will be much longer than I initially thought. I miss you ladies, and I'm happy to see so many of you graduating since I started lurking. Keeping my FX that the rest of you aren't here much longer!
