@irishfrisky I'm not going through the decision thing that you are, but my brain decides it doesn't want to spell things correctly or it doesn't want to think of a word. It's driving me nuts. Last week I wrote five with an a (fave) and then last night I was talking to DH and trying to think of the suit that men wear and he said "swimming trunks" and then proceeded to laugh at me. UGH
These heart palpitations are crazy! I've always gotten them during pregnancies, but these are every day and take my breath away. They've always been more sporadic before.
Ok little symptoms rant here: Struggle to wake up in the AM only to immediately need to vomit, sometimes vomit hard enough to tinkle a little... Ugh Start to get ready... Oops wasn't done vomit some more. Try to go #2, 90% of the time nothing, 10% please pass the Pepto. Finally ready to leave for work, start 45 min drive, gag a few times on the way and wonder whether today will be the day I have to pull over and puke. Finally make it to work, and either A) vomit one last time or else become ravenously hungry and raid my snack stockpile. Spend the day transitioning from nausea to hunger and back while often forgetting what the heck I was doing. Occasional vomits occur but they are getting to be less often after about 9am. Finally finish the day typically exhausted and often with a slight brain throbbing. Come home do my darndest to make dinner and accomplish chores. Try to eat a dinner, sometimes it ends up being popcorn or crackers but heck as least it's something. Take my vitamins and other pills attempt to fall asleep, either crash immediately or else don't fall asleep right away which does lead to a vomit often times.... Ugh
Ok not really a "little" rant but dang it I am frustrated and I know you guys get it.
Not much here, just hormonal as all hell. Being a huge capital B to basically everyone and everything when I'm not crying. Sorry to anyone who gets the bad end of it! Also preggo brain is awful and it's finals so I'm super stressed. Pray for me and my husband lol.

Week 18 is turning out rough. Nausea first thing in the morning is back. Today, I opened the fridge to take out breakfast and nearly hurled. Food is so not appetizing right now.
But I'm also starving every 2 hours or so. Stomach, make up your mind!
Exhaustion. Please go away. It's like week 6 all over again.
I seriously need to find nipple warmers somewhere. Getting out of the shower and drying off- the cold air causes them to tighten to the point of excruciating pain. Someone please tell me this goes away eventually! Please?
I have not had MS in almost three weeks. I was feeling GREAT this morning. I got to work and out of no where I had to vomit! It came on so quickly I barely made it to the restroom and it was so strong that I wet my pants!! For a moment I wondered it I had a bug or something but I fell 100% better now and feel very confident it was just MS. Now, I am awaiting my DH to bring me a change of clothes. Thank goodness I work 3 miles from home and in a very small office. There will be an extra set of clothes in my car from now on!
@DuchessOfCambridge Yes, I have to be careful with that too but this was full on wet pants...like a 4 year old! The upside of DH bringing me clothes is that he was able to hug and calm me down. This is a stressful day at work and I did NOT need that! lol But, the light pad/pantyliner becomes necessary!
@cottingham3 - Poor you! And on a busy work day - that sucks. I thought my nausea was easing off but threw up a bit after brushing my teeth (not so minty!). You had it way worse. Hope the rest of your day goes better.
I did hurl yesterday and it was horrible. I am little over 17 weeks and feel mildly nauseous every morning until I eat something. I think my sinus is aggravating this for sure but it's certainly there. However nothing like the first trimester constant nausea. If you feel bad like that certainly bring it up with your dr. Although nausea can be normal but in second trimester it could also be signs of other things.
ETA: of course for some women nausea never goes away even in second trimester. It's really the sudden onset of nausea that's worth checking on.
About a week ago I notice a rash on my belly and thought it was because I started using a new lotion. I have sensitive skin so I figure I would stop using it and the rash would go away. While I notice a couple days ago it spread to my back, boobs, and the top part of my bum. At my Dr. Appointment today I ask about it and it turns out I have PUPPs ( Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy). Dr said it's more common to see in the 3rd trimester however can start in the second. So i am one of the lucky 1 in 200 that has it. At just over 17 weeks for the rest of my pregnancy I will have this itchy rash.( Dr did say I can take benadryl for the itch). Has anyone ever experienced PUPPs?
@kdw89 I don't have PUPPS but I have taken care of patients with it. It looks miserable. I wish you the best and hope the Benadryl helps!
Right now I feel weirdly normal. No nausea, energy back. I'm not showing yet and won't feel movement for a while because of my anterior placenta. It's... well, it's hard not to worry that I feel TOO normal.
Literally feel like I partied in my sleep last night. My throat feels like I chain smoked cigarettes. My head is pounding like tequila was my friend my body aches as if I was dancing through the night... when it'll reality I went to bed at 8pm. Am I getting sick or is this pregnancy? Also way too early to lose my mucus plug (18 weeks) and more likely I just had some goofy discharge?
@curiousfool1 yep..almost 18 weeks and am very nauseous in the morning. I think its due to stomach bile that is resulting from heart burn...it's not the same as first trimester nausea but certainly there every morning. I feel better after eating. However the exhaustion is back as well.
I hate writing this out because it's gross and very TMI.
Im having a chunky greenish discharge...it's pretty chunky. Like a big enough chunk fell in the toilet earlier that I heard a plop. Is this an infection? It doesn't smell abnormal and I'm not at all itchy. Just sad and grossed out
Love hearing that @baby3forme! I've been having some weird discharge since I started 2nd tri but nothing that fell out of me and PLOPPED! But yeah no pain, so hoping it's normal!
@DuchessOfCambridge I'd bring that up to your doctor. Colored discharge could be a symptom of an infection. Not saying this to scare you, but I wouldn't ignore that.
@DuchessofCambridge As @bklynchica said, colored discharge could be a sign if infection, so it's worth talking to your doctor. That said, it can be completely normal too. I went to my OB around 13 wks because of some colored discharge, and was surprised she told me it was normal for many women. Not to get too gross, but if you're not having any itching or any odor, chances are good it's normal. It's still worth talking to your OB and checking out, though. I just wanted to mention it can be normal too, because I remember I was freaking out when I thought I had an infection.
I think I've entered the "everything gives me indigestion/heartburn" portion of pregnancy. Ate some salsa earlier and I am DONE. Hopefully it doesn't last all night.
I'm still so exhausted! I'm trying to keep my energy up by exercising and going for walks, but nothing seems to help. I keep hearing that you get energy back in second trimester but I still want to sleep all the time! Only 15 weeks so hopefully it turns around.
Thanks @bklynchica@RiverSong15, it's back to a normal color today. There's still a lot of it but it doesn't look weird anymore. If it happens again I'll bring it up at my next appointment, and if it itches or something, I'll give them a call.
Ugh! I ate dinner at 6:15 and my stomach was growling by 8! I ate yogurt with granola and now an hour later it's growling again!!! And nothing sounds good!
Anyone have an increased sex drive during first tri and it take a nose dive in the second? I just can't get my head in the game now and last night DH said something about it. I think it bothered him that I was so obviously not interested after I'd been all over him a few weeks ago.

When I was married back in November, just 7 months ago, my waist measured a very cute 25 inches. Today....40.5 inches. 40.5 inches! What the?!
