@iluvgoldies33 It's a sudden sharp pain in your crotch/pelvic area. You'll know it when you feel it. It's caused by a number of things, but I usually attribute it to RLP.
still with the nausea here and there that makes it hard to want to eat... sore boobs and i am with you girls on the RLP already!!!
I also can't wait for this constant fatigue to go away. Couple that with the fact that bloating makes me look so fat in all of my clothes, i can't wait for 2nd trimester.
@Merinmac - Thinking of you! I hope you get good news from your bloodwork.
Well, I started spotting/bleeding bright red on saturday and went to the ER, by the time the doctor saw me, the bleeding had slowed down. She scheduled bloodwork (going today for repeat HCG) and an US (tomorrow) and then I have a follow-up with my GP on Thursday to go over the results. I never had any bleeding with my first so this was absolutely terrifying. FX I get to see a heartbeat tomorrow.
Hope it stops soon, @KatieEl! My arms also fall asleep, @burnsmommy27! And it totally wakes me up too! Uh...so annoying! I never got carpel tunnel though, so hopefully you won't either!
@karacc18 You are speaking my mind right now! The bloating
is just the icing on the cake, isn’t it?
@burnsmommy27 I fear for us. I never had aspirations of
dodging it though… okay every pregnancy is different but the size of the
nerves/vessels/etc in my wrists are not different… I will be really upset when
it happens. Mine also went away a few weeks post partum (thank god).
@Merinmac, @ChloandCoco I'm sending you both all of my positive thoughts, prayers and hugs. I'm in the same boat. Very light pink spotting when I wiped last night and right away this morning. Some cramps Saturday night. @EmilyLove25 I saw that you mentioned having sex might cause that type of spotting, could be it be 24 hrs after? Trying to reassure myself here, but this waiting is just miserable. Got BW done this morning and the nurse said I should have the results today, but no word yet
I had the same problem of pins and needles in my arms and hands while sleeping and I had awful CP too last time. Besides the acid reflux/heartburn, it was the worst symptom!
Thanks for the positive thoughts ladies. Just got off the phone with the nurse. HCG was 97,000. She said since it was high they didn't think they'd need to do a repeat, but got me in tomorrow for an US instead. Not in the clear yet, but feeling better after the results.
Sure I'll be the first today. Exhausted. I've been falling asleep at my desk atleast twice a day and that's a huge no no. Granted I have my own office, but I have windows and it just won't end well. So I take a walk and end up in the bathroom and pass out on the toilet. Yesterday was around 19-20 mins! We're working 10 hr shifts, baseball and are constant go on the weekends. I'm not getting nearly enough rest as I should and now I'm worrying myself that I'm gonna do something to affect this pregnancy. Last night we had errands to run after work so we didn't get home until 8:30 after being at work since 6am and I crashed as soon as I took care of the dogs because my lazy DH plops down on the couch the moment his foot hits the threshold. Arghhhh.... then he wants to get angry at me for wanting to sleep early!!
My symptoms have been light since my BFP - increasingly sore breasts but actually that has been kind of a good thing as it's a definitive symptom that still lets me get on with my day. But today, oh my, so tired and so nauseous. I almost feel like I have the spins. Yuck.
Thanks for the prayers and kind wishes, ladies. Just an update, I was supposed to hear my results yesterday but of course they didn't get the labs done in time, so still waiting. I've been basically gushing blood and clots for a day and a half now, so I'm pretty sure it's not good. Still no real cramping so I'm hanging onto a tiny shred of hope. Has anyone experienced really major bleeding and NOT had it be a mc? I still feel really full and heavy in the abdomen as if I was still pregnant. I don't remember from my previous mc how long it took for that feeling to go away.
All Day Nausea with burping, which makes me want to puke. Food aversions on and off. Thankfully when aversions are bad I can tolerate a can of soup. Vivid dreams and very deep sleep. Fatigue is still pretty strong but getting a little better. Omg the emotions, the new Doc McStuffins commercial had me choked up.... for a fricken cartoon y'all! It's only a matter of time before I give in and binge watch the Hallmark channel crying like a baby. I already know that's what my December will look like (with my massive 8ish month belly); I love their Christmas movies.
Plus peeing all the time.
Id just like to say it's so annoying that men generally don't have that much sympathy for these first trimester symptoms. My DH feels like it's early and can't be that bad. I'm going to have to snap for him to take it seriously. Last time, once he noticed physical growth then he became more sympathetic... I was already in my 2nd trimester by then. . Like some cosmic joke
I told my husband that it felt like a really bad hangover or the feelings you get before the flu and instantly he felt horribly for me. He has been a delight ever since...I mean, he was great before, but now I feel like he can really see how miserable I am. I hope your DH wisens up soon!!! Good luck!
My nausea seemed to have disappeared the same day my headaches showed up. I'll take the headaches any day but they are so annoying! I remember they didn't last that long with DD1 so here's hoping!

@sjb2215 praying for everything to be ok!! When I've had spotting after sex it was the following afternoon, so it took a while to establish the connection. I hope everything is ok!
@Merinmac Sorry you didn't hear back! Waiting is torture. Thanks for the update anyway - praying everything is ok. I definitely had bad cramping with my MC but I don't know. Wishing you the best!
Finally heard back from my doctor's office. It's officially over for me. My beta was 11, which at 6 weeks might as well be zero. Thanks for the support, ladies! You're all lovely. I'm sorry I can't go through this journey with you. I wish you and your babies a happy and healthy 9 months. ❤❤❤❤
Peeing, sleeping and a love/hate relationship with food. My bad symptoms are actually subsiding and I don't feel lightheaded and dizzy anymore.
But I think I'm starting to show a little bit. I've gained 3-4 pounds already, which is a little scary but I'm trying to not worry about it. Since I'm not like fully showing I feel like I just look fatter.
@chadyse Nope, this one is my second. So I imagine there's a whole host of random little things that I either forgot about (it was nearly nine years ago), or will be different because I'm older and it's my uterus' second rodeo.
Also, I didn't know there was a term "lightning crotch," but yes, I had that happen the other day and it was weird as hell.
@Merinmac I'm so sorry for your loss -- all the best in your care and recovery.
@caeilievalor I feel you on the weight gain thing. It's slowed down a bit now, but my jeans are a tyranny that I hate to abide, but I'm not at all showing and don't really want to deal with maternity pants yet.
I have an aversion to chicken. Gag. I was heating up leftover chicken enchilada casserole for my husband last night and the sight of the chicken chunks in there and the smell made me gag.. so gross! It's been cereal for dinner lately. Nothing else sounds good
Guys... I hate barfing.... so much. Anyone have any remedies for when you burn the back of your throats with stomach acid? Ugh. I'm over first trimester already.

I have been waking up sore--especially my hips but my whole body hurts--and I can't get comfortable.
