I'm feeling extra puffy although I've lost 1lb so far this second trimester, mostly due to feeling better and running again. But OH MY GOD MY NIPPLES ARE SO ITCHY. If I'm not careful I think I could scratch them until they bleed. I woke up a few times yesterday scratching! My allergies are really bad so I'm not sure if it's allergies or hormones?
My boobs are leaking, but it's not all the time so I really don't want to start wearing breast pads. But when it happens it's a lot. It's just super annoying!
My nipples are sooo tender. Also these migraines! Today's is especially bad but I'm giving in and having a small coffee today. I know it's silly but it's making me really disappointed in myself.
@DuchessOfCambridge I understand the feeling of disappointment but also migraines are awful. I have had coffee to help with my headaches. It does work. Hope you get some relief.
@irishfrisky@jka427 My nipples were super dry and itchy so I put some aquaphor on and haven't had a problem yet.
I'm still dealing with stomach aches and more nausea lately. Headaches galore.
Tuesday I'm flying to Pennsylvania for a week and I'm dreading not feeling good for both flights and the duration of my trip. I went in March and was so sick the whole time I was there. My stomach has been especially sensitive to food not cooked by me (because my body is so used to what I use) so I'm nervous and might have more issues and just live off crackers.
@DuchessOfCambridge I had to give into a small coffee twice for constipation (it's the one thing that actually works for me) and I felt so badly about it but after a lot of researching and these lovely ladies I feel less guilty
@jess0211 I don't know what's wrong with me. It's very clearly fine to have even a cup or two every single day and here I am freaking out about one time. Eye roll at myself.
I'm genuinely exhausted today. I feel like I can't get enough sleep lately and I have no energy or motivation to do things. The last 3 days have been insanely busy and the next 3 are going to be even worse. Need sleep now.
I don't know if it's that he's sitting SUPER low (all the kicks I feel on the outside are below my bikini line) or the spin class I did yesterday, but I feel like my uterus is going to fall out. So much pressure.
@jess0211 I get hungry frequently but I can't eat much at one time! I'm hoping it'll help balance out the weight gain from the first tri for me, but I keep grabbing way too much food and then not being able to finish what I took, which is a weird problem for me!
I can't stop peeing. I've been at work 2 hours and I've had to pee 6 times. Like, "omg I have to pee right now or I'll have an accident" bad. Kid, my bladder is not a trampoline! It seems too early to have to pee this often. Then again I'm drinking a ton more water, too, but 3 times an hour seems excessive. All my labs have looked good, so just the extra pressure on my bladder, I guess?
I feel so large. I haven't weighed myself, but I feel way bigger than I should be. And my belly button already hurts...like it's already changing. It feels too soon unless I'm not remembering my last pregnancy accurately. My stomach has really pushed out the last few days, and it was already pretty out there.
This why I LOVE this board! I came to the tread with two comments, hoping I was not the only one, and bam -they are already posted here!
First off, my breasts have once again started to grow! At some points during the day, I feel like they are busting out of my bra! And, my nipples are once again sore and itchy. DH was taken aback because It old him they were strictly off limits! I think part of that is that when I was sick with DS#3 I had to do a "nipple stimulation test" to induce contractions and see how he would react (heart-rate) to the contractions. This was a horrible experience because I was so sick I could barely do this so a nurse I did not know (but now LOVE) had to do it. This was way worse -for some reason- than Drs and Nurses all in your lady region! Anyway, I fear too much stimulation might cause contractions and I do not want ANYTHING bringing this baby early!
I too cannot eat very much. I am still pretty hungry, but when sit down to a healthy portion I am only able to eat about 1/2 of what is there. I find myself hungry more often, too.
When it comes to cravings, so far it has been only at the mention or sight of things have I been ravenous for them. However, over the weekend I found myself wanting random things and planning how I can get them!
Still nauseous and headaches at week 15! Ugh. It the RLP has started and I don't remember that with the first two. It stinks! Heartburn hasn't started yet but it was bad with the last 2 and this time around my nipples are still super sore at the end of the day!
@jess0211 I feel like I haven't had an appetite the whole pregnancy. I do get ravenously hungry at times but like 3 bites later it's gone. It was the same for me with my first. I had to eat several small meals and I never really had any cravings. Breastfeeding on the other hand turned me into a bottomless pit. But baby was a bottomless pit as well so I was still losing weight. It was like a dream come true.
Today can suck it. I had plans to get my oil changed while DD was in school, maybe even to Costco. I woke up with her, made her lunch and got her ready for school but DH had to drive her as I was having a pounding nauseating headache. I went back to sleep for a little and the headache didn't go away. I've given in to Motrin to try and if like to eat. Also feel like someone kicked me in the bum and lady parts, the later felt like pressure and soreness but it's gotten better.
I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is anxiety/excitement about upcoming appointments or if I just really need to poop, so I'm chalking it up as a symptom.
I'm so so tired. I was exhausted last night so went to bed at a decent time. But I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't sleep afterwards and now it's 9:30 and I'm exhausted and would do anything to go back to sleep. This is going to be a long day.
I'm just the opposite of @jess0211. I find myself eating like a hobbit. I have breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, second lunch, and dinner. Sometimes even an after dinner snack. They aren't big meals but it is still hunger all day every day. Also, I've been fairly weepy this week.
@2dash that seems to be how I've been lately. I fall asleep early and then wake up early. It's like an endless cycle I can't seem to get out of. It makes it hard to get up in the morning because I know I'll just be more tired that night.
Horrible sinus infection...hate it as its now turn it into post nasal drip. Now my nurse advice that I see a regular practitioner to get some antibiotics. Can I just take some musinex and get it over with....
@ShePersisted Mucinex is on some drs ok list and others do not take list. I've heard mixed reviews on it enough that I wouldn't but I also recognize I'm overly cautious with my pregnancy.
I agree- found mixed information too although the nurse said it was okay. I wonder if antibiotics would be any good. I might just wait a day and see if I feel better.
@ShePersisted I've been taking mucinex for a few days now. One-two times a day. I'm still having nausea for much of the day, every day, and when I have the thick post-nasal drip on top of it I just can't deal with it! It has been taking the edge off, but isn't a miracle drug for me.
Is anyone else completely incapable of making a decision right now? We are painting the nursery this weekend and I can't decide on a color. Like going back me forth between polar opposites, thinking I've made up my mind, and then hysterically sobbing because maybe I'm choosing wrong. Brain, stahp!
Re: Symptoms week of 06/04
RLP has started this week, and *TMI* I've got so much discharge it's ridiculous
im also having lots of RLP. Fun fun!
