I've actually been doing pretty good! Lunch is leftover chicken stew and for dinner we are having chicken nachos (yes I eat chicken A LOT) Breakfast will be yogurt and fruit as soon as I drag my butt out of bed!
I been super sick to my stomach the last two nights and then starving at like 10pm and have been supplementing at that time with applesauce and peanut butter. Breakfast has been my normal protein shakes expect for today which was Starbucks....but not coffee...bc gross. And lunches have been a mess since I totally didn't meal prep on Monday like I should have.
No cravings yet, but I am enjoying the fact that for now - and at least the next 2 weeks - I have an appetite and the sight and smell of food isn't nauseating. Basking in this ignorant bliss while it lasts!
I have been blending up some Herbalife shakes for lunch or breakfast lately and I'm obsessed. Currently drinking a peanut butter banana one. I'll have to run it by my OB but I can't imagine they're bad- they actually are probably giving me more nutrients than what I would choose to eat!
So far not too bad, other than an increased appetite and one major nausea session after lunch. I eat a pretty healthy, whole foods based diet so I'm just waiting for morning sickness to kick in since it meant a solid 6 weeks of aversion to anything other than pizza last time around
I mean, no complaints about all the pizza but I couldn't even look at anything green until after the first trimester. They say every pregnancy is different though, so we'll see.

Yep! I only wanted French fries my last 2 pg! For me, it's basically an 8 week hangover.

Yes. I'm feeling fine right now, so I'm eating regularly. I love food, and the nauseated, hungry, but nothing sounds good feeling for 8+ weeks, makes me so very sad. We had bbq chicken, corn, and roasted veggies last night. Baked oatmeal this morning. No idea what we'll have for lunch. Any toddler friendly lunch idea besides sandwiches...I make pbj or grilled cheese nearly every day. Good thing is first trimester friendly foods are also very toddler friendly-for me it's usually-milk, yogurt, cheese, fruit, carbs, carbs, more carbs, oatmeal, toast, carbs....
see my dr. told me i needed to cut back on my portions but i just love food the problem is from when i wake up til about 3 my stomach is a mess so i am on crackers. I do have an unhealthy obsession with sunflower seeds thankfully they are good with folic acids. i have noticed that certain foods sound good but once i start to eat them i cant enjoy them like cottage cheese. Pickles surprisingly make me super happy but never went towards them 8 years ago with my son (who turns 8 today.) my biggest thing to get off of is caffeine i need it and i am down to a small cappuccino in the morning and root beer and mostly water but sometimes i need a want a frozen mocha

YUMO, dinner sounds delish! Baked oats with berries or fruit is the best! I need to get on the overnight oatmeal bandwagon so I can grab and go in the morning before work. My sons go to lunch is a turkey sandwich with pea snacks and grapes, he's a creature of habit! Mini English muffin pizzas could be fun and different. I wish I could get him to eat quesadillas, but he isn't a fan of cheese (so not my son) and just wants to bite holes in the tortilla and wear it like a mask LOL. Boys will be boys...
I was doing fine, up until today! This morning nothing really looks appetizing and I may have gagged getting into my car for no reason, I am telling myself these are symptoms to make myself feel better!

When I was pregnant with my first I gagged everytime I got in my car for like the first 8 weeks I had to put a peppermint in my mouth just to kelp me from puking... so weird lol
I'm eating as per usual since I'm not having any nausea yet. But i know it's coming. I've cut back to one cup of coffee a day and have increased my water intake significantly, peeing all the time is not fun though lol. Last night I made a yummy skillet meal that I wish I had leftovers from. So simple too. Sausage, zucchini, thin sliced potatoes, green peppers sautéed all together with some evoo and season salt! And the entire family ate it
I had a huge spike in my appetite earlier on the week, but yesterday I started getting nauseas. It seems really similar to my previous pregnancies so far. I'll be nauseas all day, having to force myself to eat, and then all I want to do is pig out on greasy food for dinner (we ordered pizza tonight). I'm going to enjoy this part before the actual morning sickness hits sometime within the next week or two (if it's the same as my other two).
I had zero morning sickness with my first pregnancy and no real food adversions and so far the same although the smell of ground grilled chicken burgers was not appetizing I did manage to eat them.

All the brownie brittle from Costco!! Went for protein shakes and "healthy snacks".... came home with 2 pounds of "the chocolate indulgence you can feel good about". In my defense they were buy 1 bag get 1 free and the cart checker literally wouldn't let me leave without going back for the free one
