    1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby?
I'm at 16 weeks this morning! Honeybee is the size of an avocado, 11.7 cm and 99 grams.

    2. How are you feeling?
Feeling great! Got up of my own volition for the first time in weeks, actually making a decent breakfast for once and going to do my hair and makeup.

    3. Any appointments this week?
Tomorrow is the 16 week checkup and we're supposed to get our NIPT results. Also will get the gender reveal and hear the heartbeat. <3

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Not getting a lot of support from family with my decision to use CDs. Mother and Mother-in-law think I'm nuts and will give it up after a month, while Honeybear is just grossed out by the idea (but he's like that with the idea of poop in general). At least my cousin-in-law's fiance is super supportive and reminds me "they can have opinions, but it's YOUR kid and you do what you think is best". She's really been a rock for me and super helpful with questions I don't feel I can ask my mom about (usually because of differences in medicine between here and the US).

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby?
I have tons of hobbies that have come and gone, but in short I'm a crafting addict. My current hobbies that I do often are crochet, sewing, baking/cooking, gardening/horticulture, and livestock management. I don't consider my blogging a hobby for me because it's part of my job as a small soap business owner and budding author.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 17 week, sea monkey is the size of a pomegranate.

    2. How are you feeling? Hormonal, which sucks, and still having bouts of morning sickness.

    3. Any appointments this week? Nope,  next week...I think

    4. Rants, raves, questions? I am on my babymoon and I HATE it. I just want to go home. It was scheduled to be a group dive trip before I got pregnant and not wanting to be the party pooper decided we should still go. I want to cry everytime H goes out to dive with the group,  I want to rage when he gets drunk, or even buzzed, with the other divers. I feel trapped at the resort with so many things off limits due to pregnancy and snorkeling just isn't cutting it. First world problems, I know but H thinks I am being petty has decided not to deal with me anymore so you lovely ladies get to listen to me whine. Thank you for being good sports.

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby? Figure skating and SCUBA diving. Sewing was a favorite hobby of mine until DD was born and now I just don't have time for it anymore.

@hippiestinkmom Glad you have some supporting your decisions. H warmed up to cloth diapering with some practice, he has a poop thing too, and my mom quit complaining about CD after she saw how dedicated I was to them several months after DD was born.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 17 weeks, the size of a turnip

    2. How are you feeling?  Okay, very moody. Though I don't think it's a bad thing. I think my tolerance for BS is just a lot lower and it was pretty high before so maybe this is a good thing. Though this might be more of a side effect of my current office sharing situation as opposed to the baby growing situation :) Still dealing with constipation and been having some achy feelings in uterus, I am assuming stretching. I also keep feeling like I am getting a yeast infection but then it goes away. I'm debating if I want to bring it up at my appt today. My anxiety has been a bit high the last week or so, hoping that subsides. Part of that is due to a convo I've been putting off with my boss that I am hoping to have today. My cold seems to finally be subsiding though!

    3. Any appointments this week? Appt. today! We got our AFP results yesterday and they were negative so that's good!

    4. Rants, raves, questions? Not really. I am a bit nervous about talking to my boss today about re-evaluating my job. We were supposed to talk about it last month but we ended up talking about my maternity leave and schedule for when I return to work and that convo didn't go the best so I didn't feel comfortable at that time bringing up the job re-class. I know being pregnant shouldn't impact this but I worry it might. I am also struggling with the clothes issue. Maternity clothes are still a bit big for me but my regular clothes (pants) just aren't comfy.

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby?

Like @sarahunderthesea Before getting pregnant I enjoyed figured skating and competing periodically. The doctor didn't like the idea of me doing this while pregnant so I haven't been on the ice since about week 7. @sarahunderthesea are you still skating? If so, I am so jealous. I am stopping by the rink tonight and really want to take my skates but DH would be so p*ssed at me. Otherwise I really enjoy being outside and hiking. I'm extremely cautious of this right now though because the ticks are so bad in our area.

@hippiestinkmom good luck at appt tomorrow! I am sorry you're not getting the support you need. People really need to remember that these are OUR decisions to make and not theirs.

@sarahunderthesea awww I am sorry you're not enjoying your babymoon! I would honestly be upset too. I know it's petty of me, but if I can't do it, I don't want DH too either. Feel free to complain away here!

@sarahunderthesea It's okay, I don't blame you. It sucks not being allowed to do things you love and miss out. I sometimes get mad at Honeybear for doing things like his ecig stuff (which we both were into before baby).

@jess0211 it's why I joined up here in the first place. I felt like I needed SOMEWHERE to get support and help. So far it's been great.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 15 weeks, an orange I think.

    2. How are you feeling? much better than I have been. I feel more like myself and hoping I can get back to working out his week.

    3. Any appointments this week? No, my next appointment is the 8th

    4. Rants, raves, questions? There is a bump watcher/toucher at work and I am not into it. Stop asking everyday to see my bump (it's just bloat for me right now) and no, you absolutely can't touch it unless you want to lose a hand.

Oh I feel ya on the bump touchers. I'm tempted to buy a shirt when I visit my parents in the US in two weeks that tells people to not touch my friggin stomach.

17 weeks, Baby is the size of a pomegranate, 5.12 in 5.90 ounce
    2. How are you feeling?
I have been worried about not feeling the baby, with my other pregnancies I have felt the baby around 14 weeks. I still don't feel anything.
    3. Any appointments this week?
Tomorrow! It's also my daughters last day of school so we are going on a date, she is very excited to hear her Babies heart beat! <3
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant: we still have not told my husbands family, he is ready to tell them I am not. when we told them about our youngest they said "don't expect any more Christmas gifts."... like that's why we are having babies... I figure next week we will find out what the sex is of the baby then we can tell his parents and let them just tell the rest of the family or we can tell them at the next get together. he wants to tell everyone at once, I'm not comfortable with that. If i had my way we wouldn't tell them till the baby was here. our oldest is 4 and youngest is almost 2 so i understand the shock but not the rudeness, babies area blessing and you should be happy to have another one in your life! we don't ask for money or help not even babysitting. so there really isnt any room for the negative attitude.

Raves! My youngest is finally down nursing! i get a little break before starting all over with this baby!

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby?
I love sewing and making things for my babies! I love their face when I finish something for them! <3

Met my husband in December of 2009, moved in together April 2010, Engaged June 2010, married June 2011

    17 weeks 13cm
    2. How are you feeling?
I feel fine . I have moments of anxiety and abandoned persistent tightening through my diaphragm but I feel fine . It's not stopping me from doing anything . The biggest hurdal I'm facing is feeling up to the task in so many ways and Noone really gets what I mean when I reach out
    3. Any appointments this week?
No . Next week 9th and 13th  midwife and 18w scan  looking forward to seeing bub again since still cannot feel them and haven't really grown and lot the not knowing  for sure everything is OK sets in
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Well I did and showcase at my pole studio and solo fan and silk dance as opening act. Which is very different to working parties and all real challenge for me . Especially when my body isn't it's best but I'm glad I did it since Noone is going to want to watch and sultry performance from an preggo  the next is 10 weeks away and I'll be 26weeks so but of all last chance. Just proud I did it
I have an rant but it's nothing to do with baby in any way and it's long and doesn't desurve the energy to type it out  so I'll leave it

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby?
this is a long list . I'm an arist and a seamstress everything I do even my work is hobby like OR all my crafts turn into sellable work so lines get blurred. I crochet/knit . Embroider and bobbin lace making . Obviously I sew but I also do natural dye techniques . Watercolour,  copic and digital illustration in a comic/toon character style also botanic illustaration .bespoke papercraft, generally special occasion cards. Bake and cake and cookie decorating. Silversmith ingredients and wire jewellery.  Needle felting .polymorclay sculpture. Wood and bone carving . I make natural body products just learning soap at the moment this comes from using natural hair and body care . My hair is long and has a great deal of investment lol . I do nail art . Collect succulents and am looking forward to having space for a medicine garden  .I also read comics and collect/clean animal bones mostly skulls.   I do pole dancing. Belly dancing, burlesque and contortion
we watch sci-fi comedy and documentaries mostly . I also enjoy historical drama series like call the midwife and north and south, outlander I also read but assume everyone does I like historical fantasy and sci-fi.

    @hippiestinkmom
yay so glad you are using cloth. We will too only hubby is on board I don't know about anyone else but they can't be suprised we own abandoned sustainable lifestyle and clothing brand. To us disposable just isn't an option and frankly people can keep their opinions . I did,  watching thousands of dollars and nappies and wipes get tossed. Because you know family and not my place

    @KMRR86

    Ewww touchers.
I feel you . I'm not abandoned huggy touchy person and generally find it weird people would want to touch my stomach . When did bs y make random groping OK?  I'm assuming burlesque dancer and all stripper I stopped work before I 'had to' technically I could still get away with it now for about week or two but the thought of my body being pawed at suddenly bothered me where I didn't care before . From where I stand my personal space bubble  doubled with the addition of another person not disapeared

    @jess0211
Such a bummer you aren't skating still.
My midwife said I could just take my dancing down to things I can already do so nothing strenuous than pushes me like new moves where I might not be secure. I dropped move intensity to nothing new or high risk of falling from (something I'm not confident in ) I am still doing advanced level pole and I'm still contortion training I don't know what I'd do if they said I had to stop. I asked the doc first already she said "you can continue with your walks" I nearly burst out laughing  but when I spoke to my midwife and explained what I did she said if I feel confident and cumfortable and  can do it  to not stop

16 weeks! Baby is the size of an avocado lol.

    2. How are you feeling?
Exhausted at literally all times. Still getting sick every few days.

    3. Any appointments this week?
Tomorrow! My doctor said it would be too early for the gender  :/ but she said we'd find out right after. Weird.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
My sister moved in with me and my fiancé with her three kids. She's literally the most annoying person. She wants us to watch the kids while she does whatever she wants and gets mad when we tell her things. Her favorite line is "you're not a parent so you can't say anything" Like that stops me from having common sense or learning information. I just wanted a peaceful pregnancy and she's ruining it. I want to tell her to leave but they have nowhere to go. I love the kids, just wish she was gone!

Rave: I won that $100 gift card from the Babies R Us registry party a couple weeks ago lol.

    5. GTKY: What's your hobby?

I like crafting but this pregnancy has had me extremely sick and exhausted I can't even think about doing anything I like.

HECK YEAH FREE GIFT CARD! That's a heck of a win. I miss the convenience in the US, I'm so excited to be going back to see my mom in two weeks. Really the only point we differ on parenting is the diapering, the rest is basically the same, so we're going shopping together and all kinds of things.

As for the sister thing, I'd probably be in the same boat. My sister is in the "I'm 16 and know everything and adults are just trying to keep me down" phase though. Still freaking annoying! At least the kids are good though, right?

I know, right? I really don't know how people expected different, I've always been about the ecofriendly all-natural lifestyle and I own an organic artisanal soap company. It's logical (to me anyway) that I would go with cloth over disposable. I personally can't justify the waste of resources used to make something meant to just be thrown away after use anyway, much less the money we'd spend. I'd rather spend the $100-150 we're already estimating for some flats, inserts, and covers that I can use again for #2 and then have a life as cleaning towels than the usual $2000-3000 thrown around for diapering with 'sposies. But that's my feelings on it! Other kids ain't my kids, ya know?

For bump touchers, my go to phrase is "I'm a person, not a petting zoo, thanks". I get that some people don't mind it but I hate it and I don't let people do it to me. The worst.
