It was just brought to my attention that we've been paying 3 of my inlaws bills for the last few months. Apparently they asked my SO and he thought it was a one time thing but it hasn't stopped yet and he hadn't told me. We're talking like $200 a month. I told him it needs to stop NOW. But WTF?!
The HVAC guy just left. Our AC hasn't been working the past few days. It's not been sweltering hot, so it hasn't been terrible, but it's not been pleasant either! MH does wood-working in the basement, right by the AC. I texted him saying that the technician suspected that some debris was clogging the filter. He denied it until I told him we got the filter removed, and it was completely blocked. The technician said it's lucky we didn't let it go on for much longer, because it'd frozen up and was leaking water inside the unit. It could have ruined the circuit board or the entire unit. So... crisis diverted - spent $106 instead of $3K+ at least. But, WTF to MH for being in complete denial that he could have been at fault until I sent him a picture of the evidence. He's an engineer and thinks he knows better.
Andplusalso, WTF to the contractor working on our kitchen. I get that this isn't his main gig - he's just in between jobs - but he didn't stop by until 11am, took some measurements and left again. I make sure he is gone every day by 5, so I'm not anticipating much work is going to get done today.
@smorzandoj WTF! They're in the home stretch! @soberkfell husbands can be so stubborn sometimes. Mine has a problem admitting he's wrong sometimes it it makes me crazy!
My WTF is that since I started my job a year ago, they have let 2 people go and I have been "given" their jobs to do on top of my own with no compensation. The latest position I have taken on is a job that I actually want to transfer into full -time and I have been doing for about 3 weeks on a full-time basis and 9 months on part-time basis. I know this job inside and out but I was told that I would have to interview for the position. If they hire someone more qualified, I will have to train them...

Long story, short - Home-ownership sucks, y'all!
And here I am just chomping at the bit to buy a house that needs a little work down the street from where we are renting...
@BrandedCowgirl92 thanks! I had red hair when I was born, so my mom nick-named me Midge after her favorite red-headed barbie. I'm really short, so now my my mom says it's short for midget. I've tried to tell her that's not okay to say lol!
Ha! Sorry @BrandedCowgirl92! As long as your SO doesn't fill the HVAC filter with sawdust and you don't hire a contractor who only charges $30 an hour, you'll probably be good!
Ahhh can we back up to Wednesday so I can add... Why did no one (doc included) tell me that progesterone was a suppository?! Hubby picked up my prescription and the paper slip had no directions so he jokingly said "Ha! You probably gotta stick it up your hoo-haw" I said yeah ok whatever then I saw them and was like holy cow how do I swollow that?! Then I read the directions; suppository in vagina before bedtime -__-
@BrandedCowgirl92 oh my goodness that really takes the cake for WTF! What an unpleasant surprise! i was actually weirdly happy to have a progesterone shot rather than a suppository!

@BrandedCowgirl92 - I'd prefer the suppository, honestly! I take these things called troches that you have to let dissolve underneath your tongue. They're horribly sweet and make me want to vomit every time I take them.
Re: WTF Wednesday 5/31
There are 9 days of school left and a few people have called out for the rest of the week. Wtf people. Suck it up.
