Hello everyone!! My name is Shail and in a FTM. I got my bfp on May 13th... Well I actually got a bfp and 2 invalids and since I was still a bit in disbelief about actually being pregnant, I took 2 more on May the 14th (Mother's Day... how ironic) and they were both positive so here I am! I haven't been to the DR yet (they won't see me until I'm at least 8 weeks) so I'm guessing my due date is around January 15th if I've done my math correctly. I'm excited, and quite frankly still a bit stunned to be part of one of these boards. My husband and I just started trying when we got our bfp. I was a bit flabbergasted because I think I really didn't expect to get pregnant that quickly. But we are stoked to begin the journey. Here's a little info about me. I live in Southern, CA with my husband, one giant cat (about 23lbs) and one tiny cat. By day I'm a librarian and by night I am also a librarian. I like to read (go figure), sew, and crochet. My favorite color is yellow. My favorite movie is Jurassic Park. And I have a thing for flamingo's. There's just something about a giant pink bird that I find irresistible... I look forward to getting to know all you ladies!
Hi @amandaplus1onboard!!! It's me, mint mouse! So good to see you on here! We're sharing a due date, which I figured since we were TWW-ing together! So exciting!
I'm so excited to be here! I got my positive on May 19th while on a Disney cruise - doesn't get more magical than that I have PCOS & we have been ttc for over a year - on fertility meds almost the entire time. I did 7 rounds of clomid, 1 round of femara & 1 round of injectibles (gonal F) which is how I finally got my BFP. I have an O14 boy & I can't wait to see him become a big brother. My EDD is 1/27. I had my first beta last Wednesday & go in for another tomorrow & then will hopefully be able to schedule an US for next week!

Hello all!! My name is Nicole and this is my first pregnancy @ 28 y/o. EDD is 1/16/18 and I am so excited and terrified at the same time. I'm so excited to be on this incredible journey with you guys!
Hi everyone, I'm a FTM. BFP on May 10 and EDD January 11. Had a dr. appt. two weeks ago to confirm that I'm pregnant and have my next appt./1st ultrasound next week.
January 2018 Board September Siggy Challenge: Fall
Hello! I found out we are expecting baby number 2 on May 4th. Due on January 4th but number 1 came a few weeks early so we will wait and see... Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hello and happy hump day! I am cautiously optimistic after several years of loss, followed by a year or so of IF. But with the help of an incredible RE and a fair amount of science, I am 7w pg today with a singleton after transferring two 5-day blasts on May 1.
This is my sixth pregnancy, no living children yet. Due date is 1/16 and I just turned 39 this past weekend. We have had a few scans and everything is progressing as it should - saw a HB of 144 today and measured one day ahead at 7w1d. I am more confident than I have ever been about finally having a take home baby.
Wishing each of you the best over the next seven or eight months! Looking forward to getting to know y'all.
Me: 40, DH: 35 / Married: 2009; TTC #1: 2013

2016: 3 medicated TI cycles —> 3 medicated IUI cycles: All BFN
Hi everyone! My name is Whitney and this is my first pregnancy! I'm 26 years old and received my BFP on April 29th. I'm currently 9 weeks, with an EDD of 1/2/18. I had my first ultrasound last week and we were able to see the heartbeat at 132. Hoping that everything goes well! Can't wait to get to know some of you!
Hi all! I'm Angela and I am going to be a STM! I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter! My DH and I tried to conceive this baby for 3 years. We were just about to start IUI when I got my BFP! I saw my doctor last week and we have a strong heart beat and a due date of January 7th!
7 weeks today ,acc to app, ultrasound on 8th this month. Might get to see teeny tiny heart beating...☺... I have symptoms like headaches , and food aversions, quite strong....smell of fried onions is something makes me go maaad, coffee, tea, my fav chips, seems something wrong withmy taste buds and extra sensitive nose. Haven't announced yet in family, so have to act like insane is my new avatar...
Hi everyone! I feel like I can finally introduce myself since we had our first OB appointment this morning and got to see and hear the heartbeat!! My name is Jenny. I'm from western Wisconsin where I live with my husband and our two dogs. I'm a first time mom and I'm 6w 6d today, due Jan. 19th.
Hi all!! New to this, I'll be a FTM. Although I do have a 2 year old step daughter. My BFP was 05/20/17. DD is 01/25/18. I'm very very impatient!! Havent felt "pregnant" yet I just really hope I get symptoms and connect to my LO soon!
Hi everyone! I feel like I can finally introduce myself! I've been wary to post anything yet due to previous losses but we had a great ultrasound today with a solid heartbeat, so my nerves are somewhat put to rest (for now!). I'm 7w1d, due on January 18. I live in Iowa with my DH, our almost 4-year-old DS, and two crazy kitties. I was pretty much a lurker on the June 13 board, so I'm hoping to be more involved this time around. Can't wait to get to know all of you!
Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy and so far so good! I got my BFP on Mother's Day and have my first doctor's visit next Thursday. Excited to learn and grow with you all!
Hi ladies! I am currently 9 weeks. I am high risk this go around due to pProm at 28 weeks with my now 4 year old. I delivered at 30 weeks, and he had a 7 week NICU stay.
First timer here! I got the BFP on May 6th (took 2 that day) with an EDD of January 14th! I've had major exhaustion and morning food aversions (really miss my coffee), very sensitive nose.
First physical is next Wednesday, a dating US will happen on the 20th. Can't wait for that!
Hi all! I'm a FTM in Washington state, I got my BFP on May 16th, 4 days before my missed period and the day after coming back from a fantastic vacation. My due date is 1/27/18. This is actually my second pregnancy but my first was an ectopic. My husband and I are over the moon about this pregnancy. I have already had an ultrasound to confirm it was intrauterine and what a relief that was to see! I look forward to going through this journey with you all!!
Hi all! My 72 hr waiting period has passed, yaay! I'm 7 weeks tomorrow (Monday) and my first prenatal exam is next Monday. It still feels unreal. I think I will believe it when I see it on the ultrasound. I'm due Jan 22 and I have a DD who is 6.5 yrs old. My husband is really excited and we can't wait to break the news to our DD who has been praying nightly for a sister for at least 4 months. We just want to wait a little longer... Any of you decide on when to tell older siblings?

@bearkatmomma Welcome! We were planning on waiting but I was soooo tired and little nauseous early on that we ended up telling them at 5 weeks. My girls are 5 and 3.5. I wanted them to know why mommy was so tired and laying on the couch so much and not just ignoring them haha! They totally understand and are sooooo excited! We swore them to secrecy and they haven't told a soul. When they hear me telling family members the news my oldest yells at me bc it's supposed to be a secret haha.
DD1: 2/28/12 DD2: 9/12/13 Baby #3: Due January 2018
@bearkatmomma like @PhillymommaX2 I told DS1 (3.5) pretty early on because I was so sick, so I needed him to understand what was going on. Congrats on your BFP!
DS1: Nov. 2013 DS2: Jan. 2016 DS3: Dec. 2017 Baby #4 on the way!
Good morning ladies! I'm Krystle and I am pregnant with number two...I just gave birth to number one in January...yes, four months ago! Hubby and I had an IUD fail. No EDD yet, as the first US last week didn't show the gestational sac in the uterus yet. It may be too early, or it may be ectopic. We'll find out more Wednesday. My BFP was on May 31st. We are thrilled to be pregnant again so soon!
Hi ladies! STM with a 2 year ds and an EDD of Jan 18 for this one - same as @peepster. We live in the Phoenix area. Had my first appt today, including a scan and all looks good!
Well my due date has changed from 1/17 to 1/24 which is my birthday! I'm measuring a week behind and the doctor thinks that my cycle was messed up from my miscarriage in February. Praying that this is the reason and everything is okay. The heart rate was 130 so that seems well.
My name is Carly, I'm 29 and live in Dallas. I'm 5 weeks 5 days and will be a FTM! My DH and I are super excited and just praying that everything goes smooth the next few weeks before our first ultrasound. As of now, our EDD is 1/31/18. Can't wait to spend the next 9 months with all of you!
Hello Everyone! I have been lurking here for a while- I had a BFP on 5/25 and EDD of Feb 3. I was 10 days early, naturally, with both of my DDs. I have been floating back and forth between here and Feb 2018 boards. I hope you don't mind me joining in to give support now and then! Congratulations on your pregnancies!
Lurker intro-ing! I'm 9+4, due 1/5 with one bean. I have an extensive history of infertility and unexplained repeated losses (five), but I haven't lost one this late - at least not yet. I have a daughter who turned 2 in April. Although we're feeling pretty good about this pregnancy now, most of my first tri so far has been spent on modified bed rest from a subchorionic hematoma (SCH), which finally appears to be going away, knock on wood. I'm a research nerd and I know way more than I should about the science of babies, so I tend to be the person who links to peer-reviewed articles or similar nerdfare. I thought I should intro in case I ever comment on a thread.
***TW*** DD born April 2015 after many rounds of IVF and losses.
Hello! I'm a FTM and also after lurking for a while feel ready to introduce! I'm just over 7 weeks today with an EDD of 1/22. I had another ultrasound today with my RE and heard the heartbeat and everything is measuring on track so they released me to my OB for my first apt. Oh and I'm single, doing this solo!
Hi everyone! I am so excited to join you on the January 2018 board!
I'm Susan, a 29 y/o FTM due January 20th living in North Carolina. My H and I have been married for almost 5 years and have been TTC for 17 months. We have been dealing with both male and female factor infertility and this is our first pregnancy. We were set to start IUI in July but were pleasantly shocked to get our BFP the day before Mother's Day (5/13)! H was so sweet he ran out and got me a Mother's Day card.
We just had our second ultrasound today and "Baby Egg" is measuring 7 weeks 3 days and had a heart beat of 158. My husband cried during the ultrasound which was adorable. I'm nervous/exited/happy/freaked out that this is finally happening. I would say it doesn't even feel real except I'm nauseous all the time, haha!
