I should have a baby this week! It seems like both halves of the spreadsheet are closing in on me!
I know we usually have an appt. thread but I have one in a few hours and I'm assuming my Dr. will set my induction for around Wed. since I'll be 41w and that's as far as she'll allow. Also, she hasn't mentioned membrane sweep, but it seems like most of you here had to ask anyway so I may do that to increase our chances of getting things going!
My mom and dad are coming into town again today and tomorrow. My dad has been helping my brother with renovations at his house, so he'll be doing that. But, my mom offered to come along this time to spend time with me since I've been so bored. Not sure what we'll do, but I'm glad to at least have -something- going on.
It's gotten so quiet around here. It seems like so many have graduated, or we're all anxiously awaiting? I'm not jealous, but definitely wishing I was on the other side. I'm officially without work, so trying to pick up hours or make the most of my days off, since this is officially cutting into my PDO.
@RedInLove Right? I forgot how awesome my BF'ing boobs look. After the empty tube socks I've been rocking since DD, it really makes me want get some boob work done post-kids. Or find a great bra.
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I put off finding good bras between pregnancies because after the first one they were so different. But now with my nursing bras not being comfortable, I really want to go get fitted but I know I should wait until we settle more into nursing.
I also feel the same, I'd love some boob and belly work down the road! I think we've earned it!

My post breastfeeding boobs have been so different after DD1 and DD2. I'm hoping that they make a comeback again for the third time when I'm officially done breastfeeding forever and I can finally invest in some really nice bras!

I'm totally hoping for a comeback as well. Although I'll admit, I've really gotten used to the comfort of sports nursing bras and nursing sleeping bras. I don't want to have to start wearing real bras again.
I am so over H's family this week and it's only been 2 days. Sunday they asked if baby was here yet. 1. you literally saw H the day before and 2. baby still has a week! Then today they had the audacity to tell me when baby is allowed to come, which is after H's aunt leaves the state to go home. I understand they don't like her, but your hatred does not get to tell me when baby can come.
Random: I have been using a butt brush to put diaper rash ointment on DS. It has a spatula on one end and suction cup on the other. I walked in on DH changing him and he was totally using the suction cup end to put ointment on because I "told him it worked that way." I may just be sleep deprived, but I haven't stopped laughing about it since then.
Hey, does anyone remember the days, long long ago, when the Weekly Randoms board would have 250 messages by Tuesday afternoon? Guys, there's literally 13 right now.
My mom and I went out to lunch today and then walked around a mall for a bit. I bought some clearance baby books (yay!). Baby just feels so low after walking around, and then it bums me out when nothing else happens. I have been having more BH the past couple days. FX something happens soon.
ETA: I'm secretly still really hoping I go into labor today. It's the anniversary of H and my first date.

Im currently getting s few hours completely to myself. Fiance took both kids with him to his friends house so DD could play with his friends little girl. It's so weird to be all alone, but I guess it's one perk of EP being able to send baby with a coupe bottles.

@BeachMommy2B and anyone else: Regarding EPing and pumping in general: I'm currently BFing < every 2 hours for like a half hour (and he's sleeping for a bunch of that)... so when's the ideal time to pump? Right after a feeding, like, set him aside quickly afterward and then pump and then give myself the max time to produce more? I haven't pumped for a few days because I can't seem to figure out when to make time to do so. Thoughts?
@skzw not quite sure as I am an exclusive pumper this time as well. I'm sure kellymom.com should have something to say about it... I'm off to go look as I'm curious now, lol.

My random for the day. We decided to make the first big boy bed night attempt tonight with DS1. He has been doing naps in there for probably a month and a half, but has been sleeping in his crib over night. Well we get him all tucked in and come back to the living room and I start up The Great British Baking Show (thank you to everyone that recommended that!!) look over and DH is completely tear filled. Apparently it wouldn't have dawned on me that DS1 may not ever sleep in his crib again or more likely I just have zero sentiment. DH is so soft hearted it makes me feel like an ice queen. Fingers crossed tonight goes smoothly!!
How do people handle being around toddlers before your baby has his or her shots? I know a lot of you have toddlers. I've been avoiding situations where DS would be in contact with other kids because I'm worried about germs, but I don't know if I'm being overly cautious/anxious. I have plans now to visit my friend and her 2 year old, but I at least know she won't let the 2 year old touch DS's face and whatnot.

@SKZW I'm also not nursing and only pumping. So I have to pump right after each feeding to get all my sessions in. I agree that Kellymom would probably be the best resource
@kns1988- our approach with the toddler has been trying to encourage all touching/kissing on the feet and top of the head. Our pediatrician has been pretty laid back with advice, and that was really all he suggested
@kns1988. We kept DS away from little kids when he was born, but as first time parents we were overly protective. Now with the newborn and toddler, we stress hand washing and places where it is ok to touch baby.

Today is my first day back at work and I forgot my badge. I had to go back home and get it. I also was welcomed right back with a 1.5 hour conference call. Welcome back to the real world.
Anyone with an inside baby still having nausea? I think symptoms should only be traded, not piled on. Also, I feel like my OCD is getting out of control. I can't stop cleaning!! I know it's "nesting", but it's been over a month and literally it's exhausting.
@jayandaplus I had intermittent nausea the last few weeks of pregnancy. It was terrible! I completely agree that first tri symptoms should stay in the first tri. I hope you get some relief (ideally in the form of an outside baby!) soon.
