  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms): still nauseous, but it's easing up. So sick of the lump in the throat feeling! I'm mostly just exhausted. I've been in bed by 8:15 every night.

    3. EDD? How far along are you? 12/10 according to the ob and lmp, 12/15 based on O. They said they'll leave it at 12/10 since I'm not measuring more than a week off.

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise): the closer it gets to genetic testing, the more my anxiety is ramping up.

    5. When is your next appointment? Geneticist on Friday, ob on June 23. I'll have the testing done in between.

    6. Rants/raves/whatever: I'm so exhausted but I sleep terribly! I never feel well rested. And haven't since August 2012 when my first was born haha.

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on? We just got back from hawaii and it was amazing!
    1. Tell us about yourself (if you're first participating). Not my first time. My info is in my siggy!
    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? I honestly keep forgetting that I'm pregnant. I had bad nausea for a while, but that has cleared up. My sciatica is threatening already, but it's not an issue yet. I keep forgetting to sit down slowly. Ouch.
    3. EDD? How far along are you? Official EDD is 12/15, two days after my birthday! I'm 9+5 today, I think.
    4. How are you feeling (anxiety-wise)? I've reached this state of denial. I don't FEEL pregnant most of the time. If it weren't for the ultrasound, I'd be seriously questioning myself. Weird.
    5. When is your next appointment? I think June 6th. I should probably check on that.
    6. Rants/raves/whatever: DS spontaneously said please and thank you yesterday and then threw away the packaging for the food we shared.
    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on? I guess my surprise anniversary trip around Halloween last year. DH and I take turns planning surprise trips for our dating anniversary, and he took me to Charlottesville last year.

  • @Amber_Waves So glad you had a good appointment! I can totally relate to the husband thing. I feel like i'm always having to be the negative Nancy saying things like "well it's still really early so-" or "I just don't want you to be shocked if something happens again." And I know that while i'm trying to protect his heart, i'm also doing it to protect mine.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms):

Nausea has gotten a little worse this week, but still not vomiting more than like once every other day, if that.

    3. EDD? How far along are you?
    12/10, 10+2

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise):
Had a scare last week when I started bleeding. Felt a gush the MOMENT I said "I'm pregnant!" to my parents. After their initial excitement I had to excuse myself to the bathroom, only to return to say "well, i'm bleeding." I tried to keep everybody positive by telling them I had been told I have an SCH and that it could be that but inside I was filled with dread. After a few hours in the ER I was told that everything still looked good and that baby had a healthy heart rate of 160. They weren't really able to give me an update on the SCH or what they believe caused the bleeding at all, but I was just relieved that everything looked okay. Slowly more and more people are finding out (mostly family) and its making me a little nervous. But I'm already beginning to show so it's not like it'll be a secret to the world around me for very long anyway.

    5. When is your next appointment? Appointment at regular OB on May 30th, and first high risk appointment on June 1st. I'll be 12 weeks that week.

    6. Rants/raves/whatever:
Sometimes I wish I could keep the pregnancy a secret until the baby is healthy and safe in my arms. I waited until 15 weeks to announce last time and I ended up losing him at 18 weeks, completely unexpectedly. I've decided not to do a facebook/instagram announcement this time because having to explain what happened added to the trauma of the whole event. It just makes me kind of sad that I feel like i'm treating this pregnancy different because of my loss.

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on?
Probably a family reunion we had at Thanksgiving in North Carolina a few years ago. The beauty of that state was BREATHTAKING.

Great! I really can't complain about my mild symptoms. Other than having to pee every 5 minutes.

    3. EDD? How far along are you?

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise):
    Pretty good actually.

    5. When is your next appointment?
Tomorrow! I'm excited to hear the heartbeat again.

  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if you're first participating):  CP 11/15; MMC 8/16

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms):
    - not bad this week.  Had some cramping/uterus expanding over the weekend as we were telling our family the news.  But other than fatigue, sore boobs, yeast infection (blah), and gas I can't complain!

    3. EDD? How far along are you?
    - 11 weeks

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise):
    - Past my PGAL milestone so I'm feeling better.  I have that stupid- "what if this is too good to be true" feeling once in awhile.  It pisses me off.

    5. When is your next appointment?
    - Monday for NT screen

    6. Rants/raves/whatever:
    - Literally am done with the PGAL dreams.  I wish I could start having some sex dreams like the rest of the other ladies!

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on?
    - Family vacations to OBX.  But also traipsing around Germany and Austria with my DH.
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if you're first participating):
    Not new

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms):
So tired. Sore boobs. Constipated (sorry tmi). Craving fruit and only seeming to want to eat pretty bland foods. Last night DH made spaghetti, which I love and it sounded good all day, but when it came time to eat it all I wanted was the noodles with some butter and parm.

    3. EDD? How far along are you?
    12/23 8+4

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise):
Very up and down. Still 3 weeks until my loss milestone.

    5. When is your next appointment?
June 6th for midwife and heartbeat check, June 14th for NT scan

    6. Rants/raves/whatever:
TW I am really wishing I had some real reassurance. My next appointment and first chance to hear the heartbeat or see the baby is not until after my loss milestone, 11 weeks. I asked if they could do something early and they said no since I've only had 1 loss. It's just annoying. Since my last was a MMC (I think) I'm just worried about getting that far again and having it happen AGAIN. I'd rather know NOW if something was wrong. Ugh sorry to get negative.

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on?
Last August we went on a 2+ week cruise of the Mediterranean. By far the BEST vacation ever. It was a graduation gift from my mom because DH and I had both graduated last June with our BAs. It was my DH, mom, step-dad, and me. We had such a blast. I got to see many of my bucket list places (Barcelona, Athens, Mykonos, Venice, Rome, Dubrovnik, Amalfi Coast, etc) plus some other cool places that I didn't even really know much about that were also awesome (Kotor). It was perfect timing because the trip was exactly a month after my loss, so I think it really helped me with that too. I want to go again soooo bad.

  • 2. How are you feeling?
Generally like I was hit by a Mack truck.
Nauseous, vomiting and now a horrible cold.

    3. EDD? Technically December 10th.
But my dating ultrasound put me at 11+1 on Monday.

    4. Pretty good til today.

    5. Next appointment is now Friday as I'm further along than I should be. Doing harmony test.

    6. Rants/Raves/Whatever?
    nothing

    7. Beat vacation? Easy our 2 week honeymoon in Jamaica.
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if you're first participating): Not the first time, but you can check my siggy if you have questions.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms): It's been a bit of a rough week.  Just feeling really bad - kinda crampy (I don't know if crampy is really the right word, but I def feel changes in my uterus) and lots of nausea (coming in waves).  I also get really hungry really fast, but I also get full really fast.

    3. EDD? How far along are you? 9 weeks+5 days today (according to the u/s; I think I'm 9 weeks+1 day based on my tracking)

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise): I get nervous when I'm feeling crampy.  I'm also a bit nervous about stopping the progesterone (I stop on Saturday).  I'm just afraid my body won't regulate on its own (I have NO reason to believe it won't.  They weren't even positive I needed to be on it to begin with), and it's another "moment in time" in my mind for things to potentially go wrong.

    5. When is your next appointment? Not for a week and a half.  That's when I see the MFM again (for the first time with this pregnancy), and I'm excited to see here.  I really like my MFM and I'm interested to hear her take on everything.

    6. Rants/raves/whatever:

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on? Oo tough one.  I'd say either our honeymoon - my husband planned the whole thing as a surprise to me.  He also ended up talking the front desk into giving us an upgrade that was our own little hut that sat over the water.  The hut was larger than our apartment at that time!  We made a lot of great friends with other couples also on their honeymoon.  The second option would be our two-week trip to Ireland (11 days) and London (3 days).  It was great to drive around Ireland and see all the different places.

danielle913-2 - Shortly after I got pregnant, I asked my husband how long he wanted to wait until telling people.  He told me "once the baby is born and in our arms."  He wasn't kidding.  He honestly wanted to consider never telling anyone.  #ThatsNotHowThisWorks....

@ktcakes87 - hope the appointment went well today! Also, I <3 Boston!

  • @Tennis11785 Thanks, it went well! It was scary for a minute because I used the bathroom there and started spotting. Then it took him forever to find the heartbeat! He did a quick exam and said everything looked fine though. The babies HR was a little lower than last time, but he said it's fine.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms):
Tired, sore breasts, mild nausea is getting more mild everyday. Also just got over a UTI that was symptomless- they caught it on my last urine analysis. :/

    3. EDD? How far along are you?
    10w3d

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise):
Pretty good, actually. I think I'm better able to be patient this time around. But I have my moments!

    5. When is your next appointment? Tuesday for another U/S and to do the harmony test (I'm AMA)

    6. Rants/raves/whatever: I feel like I might be getting a cold from DD's nanny. I wouldn't normally care, but we're flying cross country next week and I'd love it if we were all healthy for the trip!

Edited to add my fave vacay!

We went to Vietnam and Cambodia a few years ago. Our friend was living there at the time and allowed us all around. It was amazing!

@Tennis11785, when I was pregnant with my firstborn, no one on Facebook knew until he was born. Twofold reason: one, I was so nervous something was going to happen the whole time; two: when I was going through difficulties getting pregnant, then had my loss and the subsequent six months of pretty bad depression, it KILLED me to see all these updates on Facebook about pregnant friends. It hurt so much. I didn't want to inadvertently make anyone else feel like that. (Disclaimer: people who share pregnancies on fb are not bad people and I don't feel like they are. It doesn't bother me anymore, but I was too close to it at the time.)
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if you're first participating):
I have a six year old daughter.  After that we had a long dry spell of not getting pregnant, despite trying meds and other things.  We then gave up.  Since then, we've had two miscarriages and this is our last go of 'just letting go and letting God'.  I told my hubby that no matter what happens this time, I'm done.  He seems to be at peace this time.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms):  Good.  I had four rough weeks of nausea and exhaustion but I'm starting to feel more like me.  I still get dizzy if I stand up too fast or my tummy rebels if I go longer than 2 hours without eating, but for the most part things are good.  I have enough symptoms to feel more positive than not.

    3. EDD? How far along are you? 11 weeks.  Due date is 12/7.  My daughter was born at exactly 37 weeks and I'm 38 so I highly doubt we'll make it to 12/7.  I'm guessing a Thanksgiving baby.

    4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise): I'm nervous.  I still am not to a point where I saw 'when the baby', it's always 'if'.  I hope next week I feel better.

    5. When is your next appointment? Monday.  I'm so anxious.  I want it to go well.  We haven't see the baby since 6 weeks so I'm going crazy with waiting.  No ultrasound on Monday but even a heartbeat will help me calm down.

    6. Rants/raves/whatever:
No complaints right now.  I got to go with my kid to a fieldtrip today and even though it was insane with way too many kindergarteners, I'm still glad I could go.

    7. GTKY: What's the best vacation you've ever been on?
We do Great Wolf Lodge every summer (this year will be our 3rd time).  It's pretty magical.
