I like to start discussing names RIGHT after a BFP. It's one of my favorite parts of pregnancy. So, I spend a lot of my work day looking up baby names (don't judge me). I'll text a name suggestion to DH, and his response is always, "no." Nothing else. Just, "no." And HE never has suggestions. He just likes to shut mine down. Butthead.
This last week, DH said he'd start going in DD's room overnight instead of me so we can stop all the overnight nursing. He made it one night before he gave up, so she ended up sleeping in our bed and I got no sleep.
Oh no, @miranda21037! That's a serious offense in our house. Which is probably why I always have about three bags of shredded cheese in my fridge/freezer. It would be the end of the world if I went to make myself a nice quesadilla and there was no cheese to be had...
@cyanope we usually have 4 bags in the fridge at a time, a shredded cheddar, a shredded mexican mix and 2 shredded italian mixes (and also sliced deli american and sliced amish jalepeno). I guess Ive been blowing through them and he happened to eat the last of it I cant believe Ive never thought about just freezing it. We only go to the commissary once a month so I should just buy alllll the cheese and freeze it....... guess I should buy a stand alone freezer
Here is a preemptive but I'm nearly certain will-be-warranted one: Tomorrow or Sunday (or both!) my husband will be hungover and not realize that his hangover is what is making him miserable and annoying. I don't mind that he enjoys nights out, but at least admit you're miserable all on your own the next day! It's not the weather, or me, or needing to do the laundry, or your mom, or something you ate, or DD waking you up early... it's the 8+ drinks you had last night, babe!
@schazeLOL
DH is still going strong for me (we made the same arrangement), but I am just
waiting for him to complain. Any. Da. Now.
@miranda21037 That was one of the main reasons I bought a small stand alone freezer, giant bags of Costco cheese!!! I wouldn't freeze blocks of cheese for snacking, but shredded cheese is fine in the freezer, as is a giant block of parmesan cheese to grate later. I get the big bags, then put them in smaller freezer bags with 2-3 cups. It works out perfectly.
Speaking of the freezer, we're moving tomorrow so I've been trying to have us eat down our freezer(s) so we have less to cart to the new house and can start with a new freezer stock. DH is getting tired of the freezer food (I swear its all different too) and keeps suggesting we eat out or get doordash (food delivery). If it were up to him we'd eat out every day, but well we have bills to pay and don't want to end up a million pounds so I usually try to have us eat out once a week or so. And because he's a butthead and knows that I'm exhausted from pregnancy and packing I keep saying yes.

Oh, DH was a butthead yesterday because I asked him if he wanted to go to my parents house for dinner next week (this was asked last week for today) and yesterday he got all mad that we have to go and it's his day off. Why doesn't he understand that free food that we don't have to cook or clean up after is always good!?!?
We need to clean the house. What that means is my DH will pick up every item and ask me what to do with it. REALLY? You've lived here two years and still need my help?
