  Pebble dam was a spot on the river close to the house I grew up in. It's not actually a dam, though. It was one of my favorite places and I have a lot of peaceful, happy memories there. 
  
  My old username was morado23, but I changed it after I realized everyone thought I was Latina. Not that I have anything against Latinos, but I felt very misleading! Confession: I'm white, very white, like my eyebrows and eyelashes are basically invisible white.

  Finding Nemo is my favorite movie and Dory is my favorite character. I also thought the Just Keep Swimming line could work on a couple of different levels in relation to TTC and life. 8 is my favorite number.

  I think everyone knows what "aloha" means. "Kumu" means something like "the source" or "the foundation" in the Hawaiian language; this term is used to refer to teachers.

  V is for vagina. (JK.) Any girl with a name that starts with a "V" eventually gets nicknamed "V", and I am no exception. "Flux" as in continuous state of change. "33" my age when I first made an account (and when I thought I'd get KU like immediately ).
