I'm not sure if it's the pregnancy or the Progesterone supplements (2 200mg suppositories/day) but my lower back is in agony. Tylenol helps, and heat sometimes helps. DH keeps trying to massage it but it's not, like, a muscle that hurts so we can't ever find the source of the pain. it's like period backaches, but magnified, and goes into my butt and thighs! I'm waiting for my Dr. to call me back with feedback on this, since it's impossible to sleep once the Tylenol wears off. Otherwise, I'm just SLEEPY AS HECK. No nausea yet...

@missblaze My husband keeps making fun of my "baby brain", too! It's like the simplest of tasks evade me. I lose everything I set down. Trying to cook dinner last night was like an episode of "My Drunk Kitchen"

Crazy heart palpitations continue! Sometimes it feels like my heart is going to jump out of my chest. Other than that nothing too bad to report. A bit nauseous but overall doing good! I am waiting for the exhaustion to set it. The worst symptom during my last 2 pregnancies was carpal tunnel. Anyone else? It got so bad that I tried wearing these crazy wrist braces at night. I am hoping hoping hoping that I skip that symptom this time around.
@hminer4 YES to the Carpel Tunnel! It was BY FAR my worst symptom with DD and started when I was ~5 1/2 months. Right now I have too much anxiety about the baby (since I haven't seen that blessed heartbeat yet) to worry about it. However, if I am lucky enough to make it to 4 months, rest assured I will be mentioning it/worried about it with every post When did yours start during your last two pregnancies?
@hminer4 omg I totally forgot about the carpel tunnel the last time around. Oh the things to took forward to. It got expecially bad PP and didn't go away til around 5 weeks PP.
I forgot about the carpal tunnel too! That hit maybe around 6 months. So painful! I'm also smelling everything-diapers stink up the whole apartment and I can't get rid of the stench.
I am exhausted. I don't remember being THIS exhausted during the first tri of my first pregnancy. My husband kindly reminded me that I was absolutely this exhausted. I would sleep the whole weekend away while he would do stuff around the house & talk to me in between naps. Man I must have been so lame - guess I'm back to that same lame state this time! HAHAHAHA
The one issue I didn't have last pregnancy was first tri insomnia. I wake up every night between 1:30 - 3:00 AM - it's so weird. I'm hoping this resolves itself soon.

@mamakassie2 Don't worry. I am 6 weeks today and was panicking because my sore nipples and exhaustion seemed to disappear. Leaving me with very, very few symptoms. I emailed my fertility clinic today and asked if I should be worried and was told not to worry. Hormones fluctuate, symptoms will come and go. She told me to try not to worry, and try to relax until I go in on Thursday. Of course way easier said then done. But I hope that eases your mind a little bit!
Also, a lot of women don't even realize their pregnant until 5 or 6 weeks in, and I'm assuming their symptomless as well. So try not to worry!
Still just so tired. A little bit of bloat and the cramps are still hanging around but mostly just at night. I have not been sleeping through the night which isn't helping the tiredness issue. I've been waking up between 1-3am for 2-3 hours every freaking night.
Ugh ! Me too! Last night i was awake from 2:30 to 4:30. I'm so tired by like 2 pm that i can barely work.
The past day and a half I've been having this dull, achy feeling on my right side by my ovary. It comes and goes. Sometimes I can feel it around my hip bone too. It doesn't hurt when I press on it, but twice it felt like a quick one second stab especially if I move too quickly. Anyone else? This is new to me. I was googling the hell out ectopic pregnancy during my insomnia last night!

I had this with my first pregnancy. I had an early ultrasound to rule out a cyst since it felt exactly like that. I was totally googling ectopic too. Turns out that it is pretty common and the ovary that was causing pain was the one that dropped the egg and was pumping massive amounts of progesterone. It was amazing what the ultrasound could show. The ovaries are in charge until your placenta fully forms. I had tons of time to read when I was pregnant the first time, now I have none.
Not sure if its pregnancy related... but I woke up in the middle of the night to go pee and when I got into the bathroom I got seriously light headed. Even after I was finished I couldn't shake it, I had the cold sweats and ringing in my ears. I was afraid I would pass out so I laid down on the floor and elevated my feet. It went away after a few minutes and I feel fine now. I think I got out of bed too fast?
Y'all I'm not really sure where to put this, but I want it out in the universe. I have a transvaginal ultrasound scheduled for 10 AM tomorrow. I will be 7 weeks (but I think 6 weeks 5 days by ovulation), so we should see a heartbeat... but I just am expecting the worst. I did the same thing with DD and remember vividly how sweaty my palms were when I was waiting in the waiting room. My mom will be with me... but why can't I just be excited? I'm so nervous and filled with negative anxiety; it's just so draining. **TW** I wish I had never heard of a blighted ovum. It is literally all I can google and all I can think about.
I am so exhausted today, like when you are getting sick and every movement makes you want a nap. I am so tempted to go home and sleep. I joined after work yoga and not feeling up to it today (plus I forgot a change of clothes). But its paid for so I may end up popping home at lunch and getting the clothes.
Zero appetite too...managed to choke down a meal replacement shake but anything but water is unappealing.
@mamakassie2 I had been feeling similar for days and it was getting worse. I went to the Dr. yesterday and she said I should be eating and drinking in greater quantities and more frequently. Another thing I did was increase my iron intake. I switched to a prenatal with more iron in it and started eating more iron-rich foods. Hope this helps!
@EmilyLove25 Girl! I totally understand how you feel. I'm literally sitting in the waiting room right now for my US and just can't wait to get it all over with!!! Anyway, I'm sending positive thoughts your way and I'm sure it'll be ok.
Any other STM+ mom's that have breastfed feeling a letdown sensation? It happens a few times a day. My boobs are tender (but not nearly as sore as they were at this time the first go around) and they feel like they did when I was BF'ing. It's been 1.5 years since we weaned, too, so no milk recently.
Do not think about it. Distract your mind somehow, someway. I ate my world up just thinking constantly about it. I ended up with a blighted ovum. Pure heartbreak but we didn't give up and now we are 6 weeks. Focus on good things my dear. You'll be just fine.
My cravings lately are anything. Driving me insane.
STMs: I'm an on the go baseball mom (DSS) and we're always grabbing and eating. What are healthier options to eat while at the field? I'm kind of over nuts.

@britmanering73 If I were in your position, I would pack a small insulated lunch bag with string cheese, crackers, dried fruit, whole fruit, sliced apples with almond butter, homemade (healthy) cookies, etc.
I'm having some cramping today 6 weeks tomorrow. I don't remember this at all with my first two pregnancies. Everything I read states its normal, but I'm still worried. Not severe and no blood. Can anyone else relate?
Sore boobs/nipples, occasional headaches (that started later in first tri with DS), and we were away all weekend and did alot of walking, so i felt pretty crampy and some RLP already. Only a few bouts of nausea (but that was after my first flight on Thursday).
Feeling sick and nasuous while I'm sitting here eating dinner, going to battle through it and continue eating because as my mother would tell people when I was a child, I'm a good eater Also, craving a lot of salty foods, not sure what that means
Oy, I was in the shower last night and it was the first time my boobs were sore. They haven't stopped. They're smooshed in my bra today and they are not happy. Food, all I want is food. DH brought me a blueberry muffin (one of the huge ones) to my office this morning and I saw the halo light up around his head and angels starting singing from Heaven. I hope it calms down soon...I can't be gaining 70 lbs! How's everyone today? I can't get motivated and I have work to do. Littering my desk. Can't find the urge to work...
