It's been too long since I've started one of these. I appreciated the National Infertility Week post the other day, it was a good reminder of all we've been through and how grateful I am (and need to remember to be) to be on the other side by the grace of God and Science.
I'm doing well. 17 weeks tomorrow, crazy! I also started prenatal yoga yesterday, which is the best decision I've made in awhile, and I highly recommend it. It was so wonderful being surrounded by pregnant women who understood all my unspoken thoughts-kind of like a real life Bump! I felt more connected to Elena during, as well, and I had my first *maybe* movement. I feel like I'm finally trusting I'm going to take her home, which took me awhile to get to.
By the way, I had to do a Photoshop project for one of my classes. I have part of it done and would love to share with you ladies (sorry so huge!):
@bluejeanbabi05 yay for 17 weeks tomorrow! That is so great to go to prenatal yoga and be around other expecting mama's. I don't have any close enough to me, but there are a few youtube channels for it that are amazing. What classes are you taking? What a powerful concept for your project. Definitely speaks to me.
AFM, I'm doing pretty great this morning. I received my fetal doppler in the mail and tried it yesterday. What a reassuring thing to hear her heartbeat. It did take 10 minutes though, because we were too high at first. We recorded a little snippet of it and sent it to close family. I have one project to present today, and then finals all next week, so I am just so ready to be done with this semester and start vacation.

@bluejeanbabi05 - ive been wanting to do prenatal yoga! But ive been too exhausted!
Hi ladies! I havent seen this posted in a while. Im 14 weeks + 2 days today. I have an appt later today to check the cervical length. Hopefully, its nice and long. Im super glad to have so much more energy these days. Feels great!
I know what you mean @bluejeanbabi05. Since this is my 2nd, im able to kinda block out some negative thoughts but every once in awhile (especially since i cant really feel em regularly), all these thoughts enter my mind, like what if a heart stopped and i didnt know it. I also go to the doc every 2 weeks and get a scan every time, which helps keep these things at bay. But it never really goes away. Its always in the back of your mind. And im always preparing for the worst case.
@chocolateislife Thanks! That was for my digital media class. Im so glad you were able to find the hb such a beautiful sound. Good luck with the rest of your finals this week!!! It feels AMAZING to be done with the semester.
@bluejeanbabi05 ahh I loved my digital media class! I am so ready to finish these finals! 2 left!! I don't think I did great on my Typography course exam this morning, but I think I will still get a good grade overall, so thats checked off my list.
