  • @kwaldy SAME.

Also I didn't realize how much FOOD people were posting in my Facebook feed until lately. It makes me want to vomit.  :s
  • @kwaldy happens to me too! My BP is always low, now lower. My blood sugar runs low, now lower when I don't eat every 10 mins. The random weakness and dizziness is awful!
  • @kwaldy this is my life. I got Soo nervous for my first appointment that I forgot to eat enough and at the end of the appointment I had to lie down and the very nice nurses gave me some granola bars. if I actually eat every hour (can't go longer currently since morning sick still) then I am fine :) I keep protein bars with me so that I can get energy back fast.

My weirdest symptom is that I keep having double sneezes (like Ah-choo-choo). Not sure if it is just cause I am more sensitive to allergies now or what but I am double sneezing All the time! My husband even noticed and mentioned that I started double sneezing after I got pregnant. Anyone else have something totally random like that?
  • Add me to the low BP/BS. I'm shaky and lightheaded much of the time.

I forgot to take a lactase pill yesterday (lactose intolerant) and I had milk and cheese. Ended up with the worst gas pains ever and the loudest farts. My whole stomach was a giant cramp.

+1 on going from fine to sick-hungry in no time. I've been bringing Greek yogurt, fruit, and granola to work. Seems to be a good combo for keeping me full with protein and my blood sugar up for awhile when I can't eat mid shift.

@bannaners omigosh literally since I became pregnant every one of my sneezes is a double sneeze! What the hell! How is this possible ahaha it's the strangest thing

Most of these reports, people still seem to be feeling like crap... Anyone else starting to feel a lot better?

im 12 weeks tomorrow and overall it's been a huge improvement. Getting an appetite and desire for food back. Feeling less nauseas. Still exhausted and need to pee all the time, but starting to feel better and happier!

  • @ss145 the past couple weeks I've been feeling great, then the past two days my symptoms came back with a vengeance! Nausea, vomiting, insomnia which leads to exhaustion during the day, started getting heartburn, plus the weakness and dizziness. I'll be 12 weeks Monday and I'm really hoping my symptoms settle back down!!
  • ss145ss145 member
@cmessamore oh gosh it would be hard dealing with them coming back full force! I hope you feel better ASAP!
  • @ss145 My exhaustion and morning sickness have really tapered off but I am having a lot of food aversion still and the nausea is off and on. Sick if I don't eat, sick if I do.
  • @ss145 I'm 12 weeks and don't have nausea anymore (FX it stays that way), but do still have the exhaustion and need-to-eat-right-now-or-else feelings.

  • 2Dash2Dash member
My nausea is also thankfully tapering off but food is still hard. Most food seems unappealing and food smells really turn me off. I'm trying to eat well but most times I'd rather not eat at all.

  • The food cravings were strong with me yesterday. I feel like a walking stereotype, but: PICKLES. I CANNOT get enough.

  • @ss145 I am! The all day nausea has gone away, I randomly gag but I can deal with that. I'm still tired, but not overwhelmingly exhausted like before. 13w2d today.

@ss145 I am 14 weeks and I haven't thrown up since Wednesday. For about 2 weeks before that I was only throwing up once or twice a day. I'm feeling pretty good.
  • I still feel like garbage 90% of the time. Always exhausted. Nauseous mostly in the evening.

15weeks today, I have started to feel great a majority of the time and then nausea will hit out of left field and catch me off guard. My food aversions have really kicked up though.

Last pregnancy I couldn't even look at chicken, this go round it's pork, sausage, and ground beef. DH just bought a giant pork roast to make for everyone at our gender reveal and I'm sad that although it sounded good a few days ago it now sounds just awful.
  • @baycamp I made a pork tenderloin for dinner the other night and as soon as I started cutting it up everything in me went NOPE. I was so sad because it looked so good at first.

@ugoglencoco glad I'm not alone! He's so excited about this and I'm just over here hoping he doesn't notice my plate only has Mac and cheese  :D

13+4 and finally feeling good. I puked last Monday, but it has been uphill ever since. Blood pressure is up, I can walk around for more than ten minutes without feeling like I'm going to pass out, appetite is good. On Thursday my doctor said there may be days when I don't even feel pregnant, and then the symptoms could suddenly rush back.

Still peeing constantly, boobs hurt, and stomach feels very taut. It's growing!
  • Haven't been feeling the greatest with fatigue and allergies. Slept right through my friend's wedding shower that I forgot about. I might go drop off her present in a few hours.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • 13w3d today and I've been feeling pretty good these past couple of days. I'm SO happy! I was terribly sick the entire time with DD1 so I was kind of mentally prepared for that. My body still says no though.

my nausea is tapering off a lot it's just the nausea I get in conjunction with my blood sugar drops when I don't eat. Rounding the corner of hitting the second tri so I'm hoping all these crazy things settle down some then

    @ss145 @bananers
i double sneeze with each pregnancy and if your not careful the second one will cause "leakage" haha. Fun times.

My newest symptom is med related. The OB switched me to Reglan from zofran and it gives me a dry mouth and the feeling of being tongue tied. I'll call in the AM to get back on Zofran. I'd rather constipation and minimal puking to this weird mouth thing and diarrhea.

  • Im 12 weeks and starting to feel better. But dear Lord. I thought I would take some solace for constipation which would have been fine but it ended up being the night before I got the stomach bug. I barely made it through my shift at work, I was so dehydrated and hungry from not eating or drinking much for 2 days.  Still get random acid reflux but my boobs finally dont anymore but eating is still not my favorite past time no matter how many cravings I have and try to fulfill.

@kwaldy @bcashaw @roliepoliecoley4 @2dash @duchessofcambridge @ooodalollly woohoo so glad to hear others are feeling better overall! Definitely still feeling pregnant, and have 'bad moments', but it's nothing like how it was at 8-9 weeks ish. Hopefully we all continue this way Yay!
  • @ss145 I agree.  Yay for everyone feeling even slightly better.   I am having a really tough day again mostly due to other things but the pregnancy hormones are magnifying it.  I need something to look forward to.  I have spent most of the day crying so anything positive helps.
  • ss145ss145 member
@angkay711 oh I'm sorry to hear that! Hang in there:( I'm already repeating the 'pregnancy is tough' affirmations in my head aha. It's all worth it right!? X
  • @ss145 Thanks! It definitely is worth it but it isn't always easy.  I know tomorrow will be better.  I think sleep will help.

Oh how my body deceives me.

I haven't felt nauseous today or yesterday. So we decided to go out to eat tonight. I enjoyed the meal, though I got full pretty quickly. Well, we got out to the parking lot and I promptly thew all of it up. DH was sweet, but was definitely a little grossed out since I barely missed his feet. Real lovely.
  • @QTAMum3 That's a bummer when the side effects are not worth taking the meds.

I just take vitamin B6 and unisom for nausea, but I have had the worst dry mouth. Not sure if it is related, but nothing will make it go away.
  • Aww @dragonfly87! That totally sucks and would probably make me cry! Hoepfully that won't happen to you again. Nausea is a sneaky b*tch!
I'm kinda in the same boat...think I'm past nausea/throwing up and nope it's back again. Grr. On the upside though I'm having more energy, and my horrid pregnancy acne is finally getting much better!
New symptom though @bannaners, @ss145, and @NYTino24 the sneezing amd allergies are unreal!! So bad!! I had a pretty bad case of pegnancy rhinitis with my son and I think it will be the same with this little one. Preparing to have a sore, pink nose and a box of tissues by my side for the rest of the pregnancy. Sure hope that doesn't happen to y'all!

megankth oh noooooo I hope you feel better and it doesnt get worse!
  • @megankth Well, I am glad I felt a little better after. But while I managed to miss DH's feet, I realized when I got home that I didn't miss my own feet. So my new boots need a good cleaning :(
  • Well scratch what I said before. Still no nausea, but vomited in the car on my way to DDs school. Thank god for the barf bag stashed in my glove box!

I scratch what  I said too. I'm sick again today. Uggghhh. 5 day streak broken :(
  • BayCampBayCamp member
Broke my 4 day no vomit streak as well this morning. You know you're pregnant when you are dry heaving in to the kitchen sink and your family continues to eat breakfast like nothing is amiss lol
