I happened to hop on the board during the night and saw the random post on this thread that just didn't seem right and because apparently I had nothing better to do (sleep? what's that?), I investigated.

Ok, please forgive the dishes. Today was one of those days, lol. But here are a few pictures! I'm missing a shot of the other side of the room, but this gives the general idea. Every drop of paint, every tile, and every measurement I did on my own. I also had to build the cabinet for over the fridge. Everything else my husband and I did together, including pouring cemented countertops. The bottom cabinets are not quite as dark as they look on here. . (We did the whole thing on a budget of under $3,000)

We'll, it took us almost 3 months, so we took our time! Every little thing seemed to take twice as long as it should have. Maybe that's just a good description of life with kids though, lol.
