    honest question bc I have been mostly ignoring the FB group posts - what's with the hate? I'm totally indifferent to them either way but just wondering why this keeps coming up...?

    The deal is this person has never posted in the group before but wants a secret Facebook group, like the other 5 people who have. It's a weekly thing and annoying to clog up the board with the same thing. If they want a group, there were some started already.  The women in this group want to get to know each other a bit more before, oh and catfishing.

    I don't want a fb group yet but man all these memes bring me riiiiight back to my June 15 bump group, when a bunch of is did leave to get away from people posting memes like this all the time

    I mean, my 2015 facebook group doesn't use mean memes as a 'group norm." I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad or be judgmental, and I get annoyed by people who don't comment here just coming to get people to join a fb group, but my experiences with so many ftm getting flamed on the bump 2015 with mean memes just makes me feel very uncomfortable with them. Like we are lowering to those peoples standards. Just my opinion! Maybe it's an unpopular one.

    The Bump circa 2015 was an ugly time.. I was part of July 15 and there were so many mean girls back then. Although tbh I kinda miss the mean girls on the baby shower and names boards.. Do you remember when a ton of regulars got kicked off the site in a manner of weeks? Crazy times..

    Yes, o remember @Ladybentspoon. It was such a bad time on the bump! Maybe that's why I'm so sensitive to the snarky memes. I know an dunderstand why in this case it's understandable, but I just don't like it based on my bad experience in the June 15 bump group. It got so ugly.

    100%. I dislike trying to embarrass or ridicule someone who is trying to be a member of the community (with a couple exceptions...), but a driveby fb post deserves gifs.

    I agree, drive by posters, especially ones who post about things that have already been discussed repeatedly is one thing, but I haven't seen anyone criticize anyone's baby names or methods of baby announcements. Even though, not everyone is going to like the same things. We keep the snark where it should be.
