I'm so glad I'm not the only one to wash my hair like once a week perhaps pregnancy is adding an extra day.. but it's so much work to actually wash it.... and then dry it and straighten it?? I don't have enough energy for that in a week.

@jena333-2 have you tried the Not Your Mother's brand? It smells so good and works pretty well for me. I'l spray some at night and put my hair so it rubs it all in or if I'm on the run and realize my roots are a bit greasy I'll do touch up sprays and comb it out. It doesn't leave white residue which is my big issue being a brunette.
For those that only wash your hair every few days, I have a question!! (I am trying to cut back on washing mine too.)
So sometimes I will hop in the shower just to wash my body and shave. Would you avoid getting your hair wet altogether or is it okay to get your hair wet and just not shampoo it?
@Ae_Lovely321 and @jena333-2 I started using Not your mother's ( can get at Target and it's cheap!!) And I really love it! I have tried multiple dry shampoos and this was suggested to me by an old manager when I was complaining about the one I was using. Lol it works great and no white in your hair.
@msashley2010-2 i wash my hair once or twice a week and I do not get my hair wet. I shower every morning and put my hair in a clip.
I used to wash my hair every day. Then I started slowly cutting back and now only wash it once or twice a week. It's really better for your hair, although it takes awhile for your hair to not look disgusting between washes.
I also use Batiste dry shampoo, but I order mine on Amazon in 3-packs because it's cheaper. And I put my hair in a shower cap like a total grandma to keep it dry between washes.
I need to figure out this whole once-twice a week hair washing thing. I wash mine every other day. Maybe I have to do that because I hair spray the crap out of it when I put it in a ponytail?? Idk...I should try a different dry shampoo. The one I have leaves white it my hair sometimes and weighs it down
I wish I could go less than every day washing my hair. It's too fine, and on top of that I go to the gym. I can go every other day once in a while, but second day hair still isn't great for me. I'm jealous of all of you!
To all you that can go a day or more without washing your hair, I am over here super jealous!
I am the most greasy person known to man and my hair must be washed at least once a day. Depending on what I am doing, I have been known to take 2-3 showers a day, all include washing my hair. That's actually the main reason I am taking a shower. And dry shampoo is a joke in my hair.

My hair does MUCH better with dry shampoo if I do it the night before. Over night it looses the weight and the residue.
