DH gets up with DD every day so I can lay around for a little while longer. He does all the grocery trips, he pays all the bills and keeps track of all our finances, and he has neverending patience for DD and I. He makes me a better person. It's so easy to complain about the little things, but he goes above and beyond every day and I don't tell him enough how appreciated he is. Actually, I'm gonna tell him now...
He got up with DD this morning and let me get 2 more hours of sleep. In the time he managed to burn sausage and ruin my pan and still not get to eat anything (cause it burned so badly). Haha. That boy can't cook. He works his ass off normally but he's working extra now so I can stay home a little longer with this one. He's exhausted but keeps in pushing.
He's constantly rubbing my back or my belly. His touch just feels so good! He says I'm like a cat that always wants to be petted LOL. He's such a great man and I can't wait to marry him (we're engaged)!
He gives me back rubs (actually, I'm super lucky, that's not new), he always makes breakfast on the weekends and cleans the entire house. Gold star SO!
Also, today we went to the zoo with my bff and her 10 month old daughter. He was so incredibly cute carrying her around and showing her all the animals!

Today I discovered that for the past few days, my husband has been waking up at dawn to feed my daughter and letting me sleep, then going back to bed. I had been doing the same for him because until now he hadn't woken up, but I've been so tired lately that I haven't paid attention to my daughter when she whimpered, and she whimpered enough to wake him. I really love how he's just picked up the slack. He used to complain about losing sleep, even though my feminist self told him over and over that waking at night was just as much his responsibility as mine because I didn't get to breastfeed. He seems to have finally gotten the message, and I actually find it pretty amazing, because usually people don't change. He must love me quite a bit. He always exceeds my expectations by trying and succeeding to do better in my eyes.
