@ramzlau Congrats on finally getting a solid dx!!! FX your body can refresh after the antibiotics and you can GKTFU ASAP :) It goes to show that every doctor is going to have a different perspective, do different tests, and possibly reach a different conclusion. We all need to be our biggest advocates and fight for the answers and solutions we deserve. I'm glad you could finally do that for yourself and move forward in a big way <3

@antoto I was wondering when that would get brought up here.

According to this list having any infertility treatments within the previous 2 years would be considered a preexisting condition, even if you have no intention of continuing treatments. Other preexisting conditions include pregnancy for "self, spouse, or significant other," endometriosis, and polycystic ovaries.

Just a reminder, insurance companies would only be able to deny an individual seeking coverage outside of their employer in the states that apply for a waiver. However, because state requirements drive employer requirements, even those receiving insurance through their employer could see skimpier plans with less coverage in an effort to save money and take advantage of these exclusions.

    Yay @eggplantface

@antoto UGH. Thanks for the info.
  • @adirat is there a test for hostile CM? I'm just curious!

@ramzlau glad to hear you finally got your DX and it can be treated quickly! I had an EB in January and my gyn only recommended it after I kept bothering her that my irregular bleeding wasn't getting better. It wasn't a pleasant procedure as I'm sure you know, but I'm glad I did it. I wouldn't have thought about it until she suggested it.

  • Also... @leekat14 - That's exciting about your meds, and I just got you PM! :-)
  • @leekat14 it's weird with the mixed emotions sometimes. I felt the same way I was more upset yesterday but today I'm just glad to be moving onto something different so I feel good about that. Sorry for the bfn. I'll be drinking some summer shandys that have been calling my name during the TWW  ;)
  • @beachbunnyxo123 Sorry for the BFN, good luck with the medicated IUI next cycle! Hopefully that will be the key to getting your take home baby.

Sorry for the BFNs @beachbunnyxo123 and @leekat14, but it sounds like you're both mentally ready to take the next step in treatment and I'm keeping all the FX for you both!
