@breezybee We were in Vacaville and just built a house that's a touch closer to the Sacramento area. We are still on the West Sac side though, because my husband LOVES the Bay and wants to have an easy drive in.

Where do you live now? CT, 20 minutes from where I grew up If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I love where we live; 45 minutes from the beach, 2 hours from NYC/Boston. If anything, we'd leave New England to go south where our money would go much farther!
Favorite place to vacation? Naples, FL. Our friends have a condo and we go at least once a year. I'd love to retire there- right now, not in 30 years

Where do you live now? Detroit suburbs (hi neighbor @Kirss) If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? We've lived all over MI but both of our families/friends are close to where we are now so we like it. But if family/friends wasn't a factor I'd love to live somewhere warmer maybe NC or something similar temperature wise.
Favorite place to vacation? Maui! My dad has a time share on the beach and its amazing! Also a cheaper vaca when you don't have to pay for a hotel. We are going again in September and it will be my and DH's first time away from DS for more than one night. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

Where do you live now? Vermont If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I actually love where I live. I live in the same town I grew up in and I love every second. I went to school in Boston which was a nice change but I was so ready to come home.

@Taggarab i think the TPMG group mainly works out of Newport News with a satellite office in Williamsburg. When is your next appointment? Mine is the 18th for my 11 week u/s then dr physical with Dr. Pearce. I'm originally from Westchester.. Hubs is from Oneonta/Cooperstown area. I'd love to meet up one day! Favorite place to vacation? I like cruises. We do a lot of "Staycations" in different parts of Florida, St. Augustine has been my fave so far. We also visit my family in New England. I'd like to visit California sometime.
@cait5413 Subbing is an idea that's on the table... but without benefits, pension, and reliable pay I'm so skeptical... and scared. Plus, I love teaching and subbing just isn't rewarding in my experience. I want H to be happy and I don't want to be totally selfish here... but I've worked really hard too and I don't want to change careers. I'm so NOT a fan of making huge life-changing decisions...

Where do you live now? Seattle(ish) If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? We tried Hawaii (Oahu) for a year to escape the Seattle grey/rain and it was AWESOME but at this point in life I think I'd rather stay here. I need my fam!
Favorite place to vacation? This lake that we go to in Eastern WA. The entire side of my dad's family has been going to the same place every August since my dad was 13. I LOVE IT! We go for a week and it's so relaxing. It's usually about 80/90 degrees. We stay in cabins, put up hammocks, water ski, tube, fish, and just generally laze about in the sun. My favorite is to just chill on floaties drinking beer with my cousins. Some of my best memories are from this place.There is no cell phone reception or internet so it's truly a break from reality. I would also love to go back to Italy and Greece. AMAZING!!!

Like @cyanope was saying, San Diego is kind of addictive. A tough place to leave even though the COL is outrageous. I am in love with the Pacific Ocean. Also we have the best beer! Yep, I said it!

As much as I love it here, and my family is here, it's too freaking expensive to live here. Even with DH making bank at his job, it's still insane. So we would probably move back to theDFW area to be by his family.
Favorite place to vacation? DFW to see family, Austin, SLC is beautiful, Scottsdale AZ, and our local mountains.
@cyanope what part of SD? I was born and raised here and it is pretty great, but I can't get over how expensive it is.

Where do you live now? Northern VA/DC metro If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? Somewhere south....GA, SC, NC....I like a slower pace with less people. I am in a county that is very, very $$ to live and commutes are atrocious. DH commutes 1.5 hours each each way into the city...its grinding. We are looking to move within the next year so I don't have to work after the baby.

We live in a similar area, but on the Maryland side of DC. I make the commute into DC for work (1.5 hours each way) and its annoying!! I WFH two days a week though, which makes up for it.

I'm very lucky that I have had opportunities to live all over the world (USA, China, Japan, Indonesia, Europe) and have travelled a ton. Truthfully I would relocate anywhere. I love adventure and living in new, far away places! I think it would be increcible to live abroad with children!!
