I think the spreadsheet is dumb. I don't know what purpose it stands to collect data from all of these people that you will naturally learn over time assuming you are an active participant here. Also the slightly paranoid part of me sees it as a data mine for ID theft (I know this isn't true and it's just something previous BMBs have done but whatevs).
@flowerpower5838 Your slight paranoia is rubbing off on me and now I want to go delete my post from the spread sheet haha. I've witnessed a couple family members go through identity theft and it's devastating!
speach13 It has almost 4,000 views! I definitely use social media and I am very lax on online purchasing and whatnot, but I just am hesitant on sharing my family details, location, blood type, etc. with a bunch of strangers lol.
I feel like Ryan Goslin is a hot piece of ass, BUT I think that Ryan Reynolds is really goofy looking and his eyes are way too close together. Once I noticed it, I couldn't un-notice it.
@flowerpower5838 also people have been filling out these little questionnaires on Facebook and posting them and almost every question is usually a security question of some sort. Yeah.... you can count me out of that one!
@breezybee exactly regarding Reynolds. The eyes! He just has a baby face which I don't find attractive. Gosling IDK why I can't get into it... I think maybe it's because I didn't like him in "Remember the Titans" and I haven't noticed much of a physical change since so I still see him as a dorky skinny kid.

@peachy13 Yeah, see, I never saw that movie. My first Gosling intro was in The Notebook, soooooo...you know. You just can't top that. Have you seen Crazy, Stupid Love? He's a hot tamale in that one. Phew.
ETA - Also Blue Valentine. The flashback scenes are Ryan Gosling at his hottest, IMO. Can you tell he's my bucket list celeb lol?
I hate the Facebook videos where it’s a setup. Like if there’s
a homeless guy/kid, or someone stranded on the side of the road. How convenient
there’s a camera to capture all this…. We get it, there are douche bags in the
world, but there are still great people around.
I am so sick of hearing people talk of their fake "intolerances". I don't buy 99% of it. I know that people have legit allergies and things like celiac, but most people don't. I am part of a holistic moms fbook page, mostly for the advice on essential oils and cleaning products. It seems like every person on there has a gluten intolerance and lyme disease. I've never met such a whiny group of hypochondriacs.
Momma to Amelia Marie (7/14) and Austin Samuel (11/17). Adding baby (girl) #3 on 7/21
Now I also don't get why there's a spreadsheet. However, I'm not paranoid about any of the info I put on it. My age is in my siggy, and I gave my location in the GTKY yesterday. The only other thing would be my first name.
@speach13 - those Facebook surveys are literally the worst. I refuse to do them for security purposes. Also refuse to do any spreadsheet online with my info, but I'm super crazy private, didn't used to be - but now in my old age I am.
My UO: I hate any and all of the Real Housewives shows. They are all so annoying - I would rather sit in a room doing nothing than watch them.
Also, it's really upsetting to me how much pregnant women obsess about weight gain. Sometimes your baby needs the extra weight. I have had weight issues my whole life but the one time I just try to focus on HEALTH, not a number,is pregnancy. I'm sure we will see one of those weight gain polls any day now and you'll see me complaining on that too. Ugh.
I love both Ryans! But I totally get how one or both wouldn't be attractive to everyone.
My UO is that I quit Facebook a year and a half ago and I don't miss it at all! First I quit because of some family drama I didn't want to be a part of but once I left I realized how much time/energy I was putting into reading/caring about other people's lives and posts - most of which I didn't have a relationship with in real life (i.e. Old high school/college friends, etc). I do miss some cute pictures of my friends kids and such but it's not enough to make me want to get back on.
@charliesmommy6 I deleted the Facebook app from my phone and it changed my life. I check the website once a day and I have all my closest friends and family saved so they show up first. I get through their posts and I close out of it. It really bothers me how much time people waste on Facebook click bait crap and I call people out for Facebooking when they're with me. Be present or don't hang out with me.
@jlemons-2 I completely agree with you. I think any discussion of weight, outside of a doctor's office, or physical trainers, is just setting people up for failure. My weight is no one's business, and everyone's body is different.
I was in gymnastics growing up and was surrounded by eating disorders, which has made me super cautious since then. I feel like one person saying they gained 5 pounds in 20 weeks, could make that underweight girl who gained 10 worry that she may be "fat", or gaining too much, when really, that's where she needed to be for herself.
I just think as a society we put too much emphasis on weight. If I can walk up the stairs without getting winded, and do the things I enjoy, and my doctor thinks I am healthy, my weight is not that important to me. Maybe that's just me.

@vvitchhazel SAME. I actually deleted the app because my old phone was constantly freezing on me, and that fixed the problem completely for a couple of weeks before it crapped out on me and I had to buy a new one. So now I'm not only paranoid about the app effing up my phone, but it's so nice to not get push notifications anymore or constantly check it! I just check it on my phone's browser instead if I want to.
@disneyfan0511 that was almost my UO haha. I have no idea why people find that show entertaining.
@jlemons-2@txmomma16 i totally agree. And not only is there the pressure to not gain too much weight during pregnancy, there seems to be another pressure of being able to get back into shape as soon as possible after giving birth. In my circle of friends/HS facebook people, it's like a sick competition. Everyone is having children left and right and then weeks (WEEKS!) after giving birth, it's a race to post a picture on social media where the mom's body is looking fab. In come all the "omg you're superwoman!" "you look fantastic!" comments. It doesn't even seem healthy to me, let alone realistic.

@peachy13, or the celebrities posting their post-baby bodies with 2 stretch markets and 5 extra lbs of flub on their love handles who say "I am posting this to be REAL"....um, no, that's not real. Real is a tummy that looks like a Shar Pei and 25 lbs hanging off your ass and thighs. My tummy after DD......

@vvitchhazel and @MJDsquared you guys have much more self control then me! Even when I didn't have the app I would still check it on my browser ALL the time.
@charliesmommy6 I check it on my browser multiple times a day! But 99% of my feed is just those stupid suggested list sites, like, "25 funny pictures" and stuff, so I get bored after like a minute and give up! I think my feed gets worse and worse the less I interact because FB doesn't know whose stuff to show me anymore! Haha.
Ironically I just got a Facebook account this past year and I have to say I'm on the verge of getting rid of it also or at least taking it off my phone. Originally I had it only for family so they could see pictures of my daughter and family events but then it got mildly out of control. I think I have like 40 something friends so it's not horrible but it's not what I intended it to be. I think being on Facebook has changed me a little bit for the worse because unfortunately sometimes it makes you compare your life and that is not very healthy.
Speaking of weight gain during pregnancy, one of my coworkers said to me "oh my god don't be one of those pregnant girls who just eats everything and gets really fat!!". First of all.....shut up. Second, I can't control how "fat" I look as I gain weight. Third....shut up.
@vvitchhazel and @MJDsquared you guys have much more self control then me! Even when I didn't have the app I would still check it on my browser ALL the time.
You know I actually think it is way "cooler" to not have Facebook then to have it. Like it gives a person "authentic living" points.
I am totally uncool though. I actually love that FB has let me reconnect with my old high school friends (who are once again my IRL friends). I also have my old BMB group on FB (migrated there after the littles were born). Can't live without them.
@b48kate I totally agree. I wish I was 'cool' enough to just totally delete my account but I'm really not. Lol. Whether I use it a lot or not, I couldn't ever get rid of it completely!
@tmk0325 I'm with you. I started on Facebook back in its infancy, when it was only available at about 8 schools in the northeast in 2004. After this long. I can't imagine losing all of that. I actually like the "on this day" notifications that show me things that I might have forgotten. (Apparently last week was the anniversary of the day I almost fell through the ceiling in our garage...)
Having said that, I turned notifications off the day Facebook loaded itself to my phone. I don't get any notifications or emails, or even know anything has happened until I log in. It's nice to check in on friends and family, but I definitely don't want to let it dictate my life.

I've had facebook since 2005 when you needed a college email address to join. That's 12 years... I don't know that I could delete it now. lol.
Me too! I honestly prefer instagram these days, but I do check in on people there and have a couple mom groups I belong to. I do get off for Lent every year, though.
