7 weeks and 3 days- usually extremely active- now I can hardly get out of bed because morning sickness is ALL day. I can only keep down dry pretzels and fruit juice. I'm exhausted, and worried that I am not getting my steps in... even riding in the car makes me sick. Anyone else have this? Or have ways to cope?

I will have to try sour candy and see if that helps. The preggie pops and various ginger things are doing nothing. Saltines don't help. Drinking water makes me nauseas and pukey.
Taking dicletin like I did with my first isn't an option as I can't be sleepy all the time. I have a busy toddler with a busy schedule.
Just trying to ride it out and hope it subsides soon.
peppermint. I got them on Amazon & they seem to take the edge off.
Hang in there!
Whenever I get an IV drip there is added glucose in it to prevent ketosis and I have to get levels tested every time I go in (1-3 times per week).
It is very scary to be this sick - with my second I lost 15lbs before I finally realized I needed to get help. I was afraid of all the medicine, but the reality was that I was starving and severely dehyrdated which is not good for baby or me. If you are feeling that the normal remedies aren't helping (ginger, crackers, small meals..) and you are losing weight / having very dark urine or little to no urine - please go to your OB. They can help. They may recommend you go into your local ER or urgent care for some hydration, and I highly recommend following their advice. If you have any questions, I am more than happy to answer. I think we have a few other HG moms on the board as well.
