If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? Someplace warm! With a beach! Ohio isn't that bad. We had a VERY mild winter, but normally winter sucks. I loooove the beach and would love to live close to one. Plus I hate wearing real shoes and would love to be able to wear sandals most of the year!
Favorite place to vacation? This is a hard one. I have been to tons of places (in the US), but I have a hard time picking one. San Diego's weather is amazing, but the ocean is rough there. Florida beaches are great. I went to Boston last year and would love to go back.

Probably just a slightly different neighborhood like 5 miles away. I like where I live.
Favorite place to vacation?
Anyplace new! I like to travel internationally when I can. To be more realistic, I do love camping in the redwoods and road-tripping to national parks.

If you could relocate... I like it here only 3 miles from the ocean, but probably Savannah, Georgia.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? STL suburbs because I had no idea how much I would miss my family and friends when we moved 3 years ago! It's in the not too distant future cards though.
Favorite place to vacation? Table Rock Lake in SW Missouri. It's not the most glamorous vacation, but it is so relaxing and there's a lot to do if you like the outdoors, boating and of course people watching in Branson. We used to go every single year.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? In my dream world, Pacific Northwest. It's got everything! The ocean, mountains, RAIN, and those forests? Gorgeous! In the real world, the town we plan on buying in within the next two years is about 45 minutes away and it's like a real life Stars Hollow (from Gilmore Girls). I can't wait to lay down roots there!

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? Somewhere south....GA, SC, NC....I like a slower pace with less people. I am in a county that is very, very $$ to live and commutes are atrocious. DH commutes 1.5 hours each each way into the city...its grinding. We are looking to move within the next year so I don't have to work after the baby.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? No thanks! I went to college in Tacoma, WA, and then lived in Seattle for about 2.5 years with DH after that. We moved here in November 2015 and bought a house last May and I love it. We're only an hour from my mom now, instead of 3ish, and it's been amazing. For me, mild weather is perfect. I can't deal with months of snow or super hot temps more than a few months of the year. The rain doesn't bother me, for the most part.
Favorite place to vacation? That's a tough one, because I'd probably rather go on a vacation to somewhere I've never been. I'm dying to go to England, Ireland, and Scotland. I studied abroad in Australia and it was amazing, I would love to go back and see more of the country.
@vvitchhazel Obviously I'm a lover of the PNW, having lived here forever and refusing to leave. Ha!

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I'm not sure where I'd relocate. DH and I have live in several different states and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. I'm pretty happy here.
Favorite place to vacation? does Europe count lol? I love and miss Austria and Germany

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? A beautiful year-round beach house on the Maine coast would be lovely, as long as it meant not being too far away from our family. DH and I are from the same town (where we live now) so we're very used to have friends and family just minutes away and I really wouldn't give that up for anything.
Favorite place to vacation? We've been all over the US (overseas trips to come later!), but we love doing day trips and overnights around New England. The NH and ME seacoast is very close to us and makes for a very beautiful drive to a quaint little town with fun shops, restaurants, and inns. My family used to make these little trips on the weekend and I'm so excited to bring our LO with us in the future.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? Wherever DH is, I'm happy! I miss the PNW and Arizona, but PA has real, bona-fide seasons I just didn't experience at this level out West. I would love to move back to Canada, too, but if we stay out east I would have to deal with mosquitoes (they are not very bad where I am in PA, and they don't survive in the desert where my parents are).
Favorite place to vacation? Europe for doing stuff, somewhere nearby for a chill-cation (VT, Montreal, NH...)

Hahaha...San Diego! Not to be bias, but it is pretty much the greatest city. I would just closer to the beach if I could afford it!
@ktcakes87, what beach did you go to in San Diego that was rough? I don't know if I'd describe our beaches as rough. Some of them, maybe. But for the most part, I'd say they're pretty standard beach-wise. And if you go to the bayside, they're as calm as a lake! If you ever come back to SD, I could give you some recommendations!
Favorite place to vacation?
Realistically? Yosemite, and the Sierras in general. We go every summer. It's my happy place. But, when I can afford it, Europe...particularly Great Britain. I love the history, and I would love to live in London for a bit.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? We'd probably head back to the suburbs of NOLA. We miss it. We do love our neighborhood now, but wish we were about 2 hours from NOLA (or less) instead of 3
Favorite place to vacation? I like to go to new places, but we did have a really great trip to Costa Rica a couple years ago, and the BVI. It's also fun to visit friends in the PNW, and to visit DH's family on Cape Cod & in Maine (we're going up soon and stopping in NH, which will be my first time there, so I get to check it off my list--I want to hit all 50 states!) Growing up we used to vacation in Orange Beach, AL, a lot, so I have great memories there too

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? Anywhere? Ireland. But more realistically I think I'd want to be back in Pittsburgh where DH and I went to college. There's a lot to do, houses are cute and affordable, and we have a solid group of friends still there, but the teaching market is SO tough (only 3-5 jobs per year since I've graduated open up and it's very competitive). Actually, DH is in the process of interviewing for a job back home and now I'm not sure I want to go back without a job for me. It's complicated, but even if we can manage to swing finances on one income, my identity is so wrapped up in teaching that I'm struggling majorly with what to do. Being pregnant makes the decision that much harder. Shit, this could actually be a separate post because I'm really struggling with this one right now.
Favorite place to vacation? Ireland! I studied abroad in Dublin and I just love the little towns and the people so much. Domestically, I love the mountains in Asheville, NC and Denver, CO.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I've lived other places, and we are a California family for sure! Love the weather and being close to everything. I could go ski tomorrow and be at the beach the next day. It's the best of everything!

I daydream of moving to the St. Pete/Clearwater area quite often just for the proximity to the beach and relative closeness of Disney world.

Disney... although I'm up for pretty much anywhere. Especially if there is a road trip involved.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I really love living in Vancouver. We've lived all over Oregon and I lived in Bellingham, WA for a bit in college (next to the Canadian border) so I'm biased to living the PNW for sure. Our families are super nearby so we're happily planted here!
However, my husband is an Army reservist right now but is considering going active duty and the stations we'd LOVE to get stationed at for a few years are Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, Premier Medical in Colorado Springs, or Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
Favorite place to vacation? I haven't taken many vacations but I'd love to visit Morocco, Fiji, and any of the Caribbean Islands.
@MJDsquared - Pacific Northwest represent! I don't remember if we connected on that before. I bet you're not more than 45 minutes from where I'm at.
@vvitchhazel - come join us and bring the family! Seriously, you'd be able to convince people to move here so easily. My parents were the first to move to Oregon (from California and DC) and slowly ALL of my mom's family followed.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? If my family were not part of the question, probably the carolinas. The weather is always pleasant it seems like and there are mountains and the ocean.
Favorite place to vacation? Any place with a beach and a fruity drink these days. I have been very fortunate to travel to many places internationally and lived in Rome for a while and Italy still takes the top of the list.

If you could relocate and live anywhere, where would that be? Why? I wouldn't move anywhere. I loooooove my city. My husband and I bought a house by the beach in SF and we remodeled it just how we wanted it and now we're posting up forever. Or until our kids have to go to school. Lol the public schools in SF are notoriously awful.
Favorite place to vacation? Italy all day errday. We went there last summer for a month and it was so fantastic. The Amalfi coast, Tuscany, Rome...amazing! All of it!
