Here's mine. My husband and I moved to Houston four years ago. FOUR YEARS. In that time, not one person (besides family) has come to visit. Then, all of a sudden, last month on the weekend I've planned my mc, DH's best friend decides to come down and spend the night!!! WTF??? And now, my college roommates are coming down this weekend to visit. I'm torn between being super excited and still just wanting to crawl in a hole every weekend until AF shows back up. I mean, you've had FOUR YEARS people!!!

@tlq0726. That sucks. 4 years is a long time to go without friends visiting. But maybe college roomie visit is just what you need. Right after this last MC my friend told me to take a vacation. Of course my response was WTF.

@tlq0726 sometimes a break from reality is just the thing. I bet you will feel better once they are here. My good friend from Ireland flew in a week ago just for the weekend and boy I needed that weekend of laughs and forgetting about all the cap going on!
But on the other hand it always seems like damn you couldn't have come within the 4 years I've been here?

WTF DD wants to stay home from school today. Doesn't she know I need to go to the grocery store, deep clean the family room, start laundry, and there are only 4.5 weeks of school left so I have a huge list of things I need to get done before summer break! Oh and my sinuses are still kicking my butt however I can now breath out of my nose today.

My sister in law is 20 weeks pregnant. The other day mother in law said "Aren't you excited C is having a girl? I'm sooo excited. Are you going to give her all your hand me downs?" I tried to change the conversation as quickly as possible - but she just kept going.

DH's cousin is 30 weeks pregnant and due on my due date. Her shower is coming up and MIL keeps bugging ME to go in on a big gift with everyone. Dude, talk to your son, not the person who used to have same due date. The last thing I want to do is think about buying gifts for someone that will have a baby when I was supposed to.

@tlq0726 - right - it's like they know when we need them at school. DH is going to work from home today. He put her back to bed after breakfast. He said if she felt better then he'd take her to school late.

my WTF is that this mofo is leaving me on short notice to get out of Massachusetts to go to Missouri for some fellowship in a cafeteria. But I spent all my time and energy into training him up so that I don't have to work 6-7 days a week and eventually be able to TTC again. BUT NAH, now I have to put TTC on the back burner for a while again and who knows when I can unbenched myself if eveeeerrrr. I don't think DH likes my plan of strapping a baby to my back while making curry hahahhahaha

@ladipale why do people always try to push you into doing things you clearly do not want to do at all. omg

WTF Wednesday has begun...
mine is that today DH informed me that the irresponsible stupid pregnant 19 yo that was going to be at SIL shower had her baby last night... so she asked SIL if it was ok to bring the newborn to the bridal shower over mother's day weekend... and SIL said YES knowing that means I may not even show up. Seriously!?!? Who brings a NEWBORN to a bridal shower?!? Grrr......

@MimoCa WTF is a cafeteria fellowship? Like, a legit fellowship like doctors have, or just a meet and greet fellowship in an actual cafeteria???

@tlq0726 - i hope you can enjoy your friends visit - but be honest and don't be afraid to cry/bitch/talk about your loss.... I always liked the distraction of vacations and visits after my losses - being alone is my nightmare but everyone grieves differently.

@tlq0726 and @ladipale DH and I made a decision a bit ago that if the stupid twat shows up with the newborn, we are not planning to attend. I'm definitely not that strong... and I've got quite a mouth on me, so if I do show up I'll probably say a lot of obnoxious things that I shouldn't...

@tlq0726 I have no idea either. Apparently he is working with the head chef there to develop a nutritious menu for Truckers at this trucking corp. My question to him was, what makes you qualified for that as a) I basically had to trained everything for him here and b) the only other kitchen he worked at was a summer camp and c) he ain't a nutritionist and only has a high school diploma and not like years of experience (he just reached legal drinking age). And they told him he had to leave within a week to get there and he can't back out. I think they had a few people before him that didn't make the cut or hated it. He will find out what it is. I'm too nice to my employees and they walk all over me lol.

@ladipale. That's so rough. I would be upset too. I hated having to give for my niece with her oops pregnancy thAt can't afford to have a child as she cAnt take care of herself. So annoying. Hopefully DH will give money and leave you out of it

@amberruka so far everyone that has done that to us in the past has gotten screwed by who ever they went too. We get a few, I want to come back or this place is treating me crap calls every once in a while but hey you made your choice! I feel so bad saying it but I hope its the same for him. sorry, not sorry lol

Too long a story to get into but WTF the vice principal at my school? Long story short, she's so delusional that she thought I agreed to do something completely unethical. She keeps on telling people that "that's the plan." I am going to test a child who does not speak English at all.

She wants me, my intern or a secretary in the special education office to input this ginormous rating scale into google docs to translate into Spanish. Ummmm... No. No can do. It's a little unethical and the translation isn't a direct translation.

Get a pscyh degree and come talk to me then.

Tomorrow I get to email the principal to clear this up.

The vice principal is crazy. Even when I have to google translate Thai and I know what it says but I"m crap for spelling I'll read back the google translate and be like wtf did it translate from english. Shouldn't the school hire a translator?

@MimoCa They should. At first the school was told that there was "no more money in the budget" I called an administrator and she said ok. The vice principal is just plain bananas.

@sp128 that's crazy! We test a ton of Spanish speakers, being in Houston and all, we we always have either a bilingual Diag or SLP in the room for translation purposes. Or hire someone from an agency if it's not Spanish. I can't believe your vp wanted you to do all that.

My WTF Wednesday? My cousin just had their baby and posted on FB that he gets "best Farther and husband of the year" (And NO that's not even a typo, multiple posts about him being a FaRther - insert eye roll) Best part? He thinks he is the best Farther (sorry I can't stop myself ) because he sold off crap on FB yardsale site because they don't have enough money to get by this month and are in collections for rent and everything else (maybe that's because you both don't have a job and can't support a child?) Thankful that they live in TX and I never have to see them. So incredibly unfair.

@vlagrl29 and tlq0726: Um sign me up, I will go to school instead!

Well woke up with sore throat. Went to doctor and was told strep but instant test is neg so they sending to lab. Got a z pack. Hope it helps. I feel like shit
