@dogdisnylovr Yes! You can also have caffeine while pregnant I'd be lying if I said I hadn't had some diet Dr Pepper this week. I just skipped the amaretto I like to put in it sometimes!
I heard diet soda is bad when you pregnant.. but if you have been drinking it and everything is fine maybe ill start drinking too I love Dr. Pepper!
I didn't realize this was a thing when DS was born, and I still don't really get all the fuss. Let's be honest - baby will be the most adorable photogenic person you've ever met, no matter what clothes are involved. We grabbed a random outfit from the closet (short sleeve onesie, footie pants, button up sweater, hat) so that we could layer or not, depending on the temp. I put literally zero thought into it beyond weather. I figured if it was too big we would just change baby when we got home (we live 10 minutes away). We were team green so everything we owned was gender neutral. We'll probably not receive any gifts this time around, and I'll probably not buy anything, so I'll just pick another random layered matchy-match outfit from our stash.
@bigbadwold12 We still put kiddo in super relaxed soft cotton clothes 75% of the time. I love nothing more than wearing my yoga pants all day every day so I'm not going to force my kid to wear stiff jeans and collared shirts if he isn't feeling it.

I mean, really, diet soda is always bad for you. (Not a judgement on people who drink it, I do plenty of things that aren't good for me.)
ETA: I had a big plate of salad to start dinner, and now I'm having potato skins for the 900th time this week, so no shade intended.
@jena333-2 Soda is always terrible for you. It's also my number one addiction. I gave it up because I have no self control. If I decide soda is okay, I'll have sodas all day long. Somewhere around 12 weeks, I had my first Diet Dr Pepper since finding out about baby. I now use it when I have a really bad headache. Works better than Tylenol.

It's funny the things that are bad for you, and how there's always something. I have oj almost every day, and the sugar in it is terrible.

I use it for headaches and for low blood pressure drops when I get dizzy. Helps a lot... prior to this pregnancy I gave it up a year and a half earlier. I plan to give it up after baby, when I can take migraine pills again.
We'll be doing a soft comfy sleeper or romper of some sort.
FFFC: I feel bad when newborns are put into stiff "legit clothes" because they've been in a spa for their whole life....ease the poor little things into the structured clothes and let them just wear pjs for the first few weeks
