I went in for an ultrasound yesterday at 6w5d and the yolk sac and fetal pole we saw last week were gone. The sac was empty. I'll have a D&C next week and get some testing done, which will hopefully give us answers.
I'm a bit scared. This is our second round of IVF and second IVF loss. I worry about the implications of this loss and the strong possibility that I will never be a parent. I guess we've got time to decide if we are giving up.
It's been so nice getting to know y'all and I am so happy I got to be here for a little bit. Good luck to all of you, I wish you all a happy and healthy 9 months.

Oh, Cait. I don't even know what to say. I'm just over here with my hand over my mouth shaking my head and crying. What a shit ride you've had. I hope the immediate medical, physical stuff goes well and that when the time comes and you're ready, that your doctor has some ideas on what else can be done. I, and so many of us, are here for you when you're ready. Dammit.
