R/R: day started off with a birthday run for a friend in my running group. We run a mile then chat at the Dunkin Donuts. Always a good way to start the day! Then tonight I'm headed to a friends for our monthly get together to watch Grey's Anatomy & another show (maybe Scandal?). I don't watch either show but love getting together to be social & eat yummy food.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. My first memory is from right after my brother was born. I had just turned 2. My mom gave our dog away because she wasn't doing well with two little kids. I still remember the little boy who came with his mom to get her. He had light brown hair and glasses. And I remember standing at the window crying for them to bring her back. The memory came up a few years ago at dinner at my parents house & they were shocked I remembered it so accurately
@purplg8r Before I went to bed, I told myself I was going to get up and run a mile first thing this morning. Of course, now I'm lying in bed talking myself out of it. But then you have to go talk about how good your run is, and I'm sure the endorphins will help my lousy mood... Gah. I guess it's P&G this morning while I go run for the first time in forever....

GTKY: I vividly remember how my nursery was set up with the crib even though they completely rearranged it by the time I was 2-3 and in a bed. There are no pictures or other evidence I would have seen. I just know that's how it was. Freaked my mom out when I told her.

@purplg8r that is so sad. i applaud both you ladies @LoveInDC included, for getting up and running or at least contemplating a run . I think my running days are behind me. I hear the sounds of Rice Krispies just going up and down stairs; my knees have had it.

Anyone have any history of multiple days of positive OPKs? Where is your O? I was so uncomfortable last night I was sure it must be the day but then today no big temp change.
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. I was two maybe almost three. My mom got me a teddy bear. I remember her pulling a box out of the closet off the top shelf and giving it to me, opening it up and pulling the bear out.

@purplg8r Sounds like a good day to me! DH and I went out for a run last night. Morning runs usually don't work out for me, but I do love them!
@LoveInDC The first run in a while is always the hardest! Sorry you're in a bit of a funk. I understand where you're coming from. Fx that you O this cycle! Hugs!
@Flurison Fx you get your temp skip soon! I'm not the best person to answer your question, considering I haven't O'ed in the past 6 months, but I've gotten +OPKs before and then no O. Hopefully you'll get your temp spike tomorrow!

R/R: I slept in later than I should've. Last night DH and I celebrated his thesis presentation being over with mac & cheese and champagne, so I was up past my bedtime. Totally worth it, but I'm tired today.
CS/Q: Nope. My chart is a hot mess, but I don't think anyone can help me there. Haha
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. My first memory is from a Christmas party at a neighbor's house when I was two. I was eating chocolate Santas.
WAYDTGKU: nothing right now, I'm still in the nothing-happening-here part of my cycle. I'll start temping on CD10 and start taking OPKs around CD16

This is a hard one! So many of my "memories" are probably things I have seen in pictures or home videos or are stories I have been told. I remember interviewing for admission to kindergarten at my private school and putting together a puzzle with the teacher, and I guess I was about 3 or 4 years old then.

R/R: We have to take our lab to the vet after work. She has been peeing a little bit at a time when she lays down. I think she has a bit of an infection. On the weekend she was laying on Fs lap and when she got up there was a wet spot on his leg. Today is crazy. My first client likes to stay with his dogs which is normally annoying but he is like 80 years old and when I'm grooming them he waves at them. So cute.

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. One my first memories is when I was 3 years old and broke my femur bone. I remember everything from the car ride to them cutting my brand new birthday dress off me. It was the kind that had shorts under it and had purple pokadots all over it.

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood.
I have a terrible memory. Like, I'm 98% sure I was the inspiration for Finding Dory. The only thing I can think of is when I was 3 we sold our first house and I specifically remember the creepy hole in the floor cellar thing.
R/R: Our dog woke us up in the middle of the night barking, it scared the crap out of us so H got up and checked it out but didn`t see anything not sure what the dog heard or saw very weird.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. Going for a boat ride with my dad,mom and grandma, we saw a duck and my dad pulled up beside it and the duck didn`t move so he reached for it, my mom and grandma started yelling at him to leave it alone but he grabbed it anyway turns out it was a decoy just floating around the lake.
R/R: The last two days have been so busy at work. I'm really hoping I get somewhat of a break today so I can get caught up! I've also gone to the gym the last two days and plan to go again today. I need to keep this up!
CS/Q: Only 4 dots right now.
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. I remember being in pre-school and this girl pulled a chair out from under me as I was going to sit down. I fell and hurt my tail bone. I never liked that girl after that and I remember her name to this day lol!
@purplg8r Getting up first thing in the morning and running a mile sounds like a special type of hell but I'm glad you enjoy it lmao
@LoveInDC Sorry to hear your not feeling it right now.
@Flurison Sorry to hear you haven't gotten your temp spike yet.
@Cricket648 Yay for your upcoming appointment! Is there a reason you are going to an RE vs just an OB? I assume you are trying to jump start AF right?
WAYDTGKU: HIO as much as possible, OPKs, PNV, CM,
CP
R/R: I’m tired of feeling depressed so today I’m
just going have raves! Things turned around for DH and me last night AND this
morning. I was half asleep this morning but we got it in. I get to see my cute
little nephew this afternoon. He was so fun on Monday and I love seeing him
walk. Hopefully today is just as good as Monday.
CS/Q:
GTKY: I fell and split my lip when going into
preschool one morning. I remember everything about it except going to the
doctor to get it stitched up (including the moment it happened, what the ground looked like, going to the bathroom and looking in the mirror). That part seems like a bit of a dream.
@purplg8r – yay for a run this morning! That’s
a pretty sad memory you have.
@loveindc – go get that run in girl! I always
feel better after working out but most of the time it’s hard to get myself to
go.
@flurison – sorry for no temp spike this
morning. I do the clearblue OPK that has a smiley and FF gives me a dotted line
for the next day (I don’t do another after I get a smiley though). Also, I felt
really uncomfortable last night (like constipated but I wasn’t) and I feel
better this morning so thinking I O’d over night but this is the first time I’ve
felt something like that.
@cricket648 – yay for YH’s thesis being over.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, teas and pomegranate juice before O, progesterone after O, yoga
R/R: I stocked up on matcha green tea for breakfast smoothies, RRL tea, and pomegranate juice last night! Ready to try all the things. I've been doing a lot of Starbucks green tea lattes, but if I can get my butt in gear to make some smoothies, I'll be saving a lot of money and packing in some better nutrients. I'm thinking of adding Greek yogurt, mixed frozen berries, spinach and chia seeds.
CS/Q: not much today
GTKY: I think my first full memory is a prank my dad played on me. I was about 3. He got one of those fake knives where the blade retracts into the handle, put ketchup around the hilt, and then stabbed his hand with it and pretended it was stuck to the armrest of the recliner. I ran to my room screaming and managed to lock my parents out for about an hour. That remains as one of my biggest fears: watching any skin get cut open. I'm pretty ok with needless, and I can do a dissection on anything dead, no problem. But if I see blood gushing, no way. Thanks Dad!

AND the live stream of the Rolex 3 Day Event cross country (https://rk3de.org/) is on Saturday... it's like a horse triathlon, and Rolex is like the Super Bowl to me LOL. So, since we don't have to go to Fargo, I get to watch it AND have well-timed BD. Oh, and BD was wildly successful last night
CS/Q: not much to see. I need to buy a new thermometer, so I gave up temping for this cycle a few days ago
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. I actually remember breastfeeding and having my diaper changed. I think I was between 12-24 months, but who knows. The diaper change must've been closer to 24 months because at one point I told my dad "you're crushing my nuts!" because he was putting the diaper on too tight It was a phrase he'd say to us when we ran and jumped into his lap a little too enthusiastically... and clearly I was too young to not realize that I didn't have nuts.

@LoveInDC Good for you, girl! It's so hard to get ourselves to do things that are good for us and our moods when we feel mentally crummy, so I'm proud of you for making yourself run!
@Flurison lots of women get multiple days of positive OPKs, but the only way to confirm the actual date of O is that temp spike (or, you know, expensive blood tests and ultrasounds). It looks like you could get it tomorrow! I've had temp spikes as late as 2 days after a +opk.
@georgiagirl3050 ugh, the boring part of WTO is the worst. FX it flies by!
@flashley-2 ugh, our dog has had the same issue ever since he started his UTI nonsense a year ago. He's been through a month of antibiotics, and the vet says that the dribbling might just be old man incontinence. I find that answer annoying... since it didn't happen until after the recurrent UTI crap, but I suppose he IS almost 11, and a large breed. On another note, are you going to watch Rolex on usefnetwork.com ????????? Dressage is on now!
@Dilynne you don't need to apologize for anything! We're here to support you, and you should feel free to vent and lean on us. So many hugs to you, girl.

R/R: Went to my OB yesterday, she was super supportive and appeared genuinely happy that DH and I are TTC. I've been seeing her for 10 years and was one of her first patients when she was building her practice. She asked some basics how long, how often, encouraged a PNV with DHA and folic acid. So now I need to go get some DHA or a new PNV. She told me that it wasn't necessary for us to use opks (too late, and I'm not stopping ) She added that if after 8 months/cycles things aren't where I want them to be, ie KU, then I can call to make another appointment, but really encouraged waiting until 12 cycles, and she gave me the stats on getting KU. Her advice EOD, live a healthy lifestyle and "have fun." Told DH about my appointment and he said "so basically she won't do anything right now." I think he is getting a little frustrated. I feel more positive right now...we shall see where I am in 2 weeks...

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. a lot of my early childhood memories are like snapshots in my mind, and the images are a little fuzzy, but the emotions are bright. I can remember the feelings of joy and love. Some of my really early memories are of minor details. The earliest thing that comes to mind is of a house we lived in when I was about 3 to get to my room you had to go through my sister's room and there was actually a door to the backyard off of my room. I remember the rocks in the garden in the yard, the little bugs crawling on the patio and a swing and I remember sitting at a small table in my room finger painting. We only lived there for about a year.

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. We used to go camping in the Rockies when I was really little, and my parents would always make us a treat bag to keep us occupied on the road. Once, my brother lost his and accused me of stealing it, which I didn't. Eventually he found it, and I remember my parents giving him this big lecture about blaming me without proof
@purplg8r - Yay for doughnuts! Hopefully your dog went to a good home. @LoveInDC - Hopefully that run will lift your spirits! @Flurison - Some people do get multiple days of +OPK. You'll have to keep testing and temping to figure out your own pattern. @Cricket648 - I love that one of your first memories is of eating chocolate! @flashley-2 - Yay for AF leaving! @Dilynne - I hope you and YH are doing ok. I have a terrible memory, too. I think that moving when I was so young affected being able to hold onto those early memories. @Stargazer1lily - I love your memory! @JJMNO1616 - I'm impressed that you have gotten to the gym during AF. I guess I had a complete meltdown every time and she stopped trying to take me. I've literally had anxiety for as long as I can remember. It took me 25 years to realize that I needed medication.

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. I was 3 and at my babysitters house. I was kneeling on the floor in front of a couch playing with a Barbie. There were other kids playing ring around the rosey and they bumped into me and dislocated my elbow. I remember being rushed to the hospital and the ER doctors had to sedate me to reset it. They had to put a shot in each arm and leg. I flailed and resisted and screamed obscenities at the nursing staff. Less than a week later was my 4th birthday. Since I dislocated my right elbow and was not ambidextrous I ended up stuffing my whole face into my slice of cake, mortifying my grandmother and making everyone else die laughing. It was amazing chocolate cake with vanilla icing.
@JennyColada Just a reminder with the raspberry leaf tea - it shouldn't be consumed once you are pregnant, so a lot of women stop after O just to be safe.

@garnetandgoldgrace I have no idea what the deal is with my long cycles! I'm going to see the RE next week, so I might get some answers soon. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be PCOS, but I'm trying not to self-diagnose. I see that you're on Metformin. Do you have PCOS? Also, I have about that many school days left, too! What grade do you teach?
@purplg8r Have fun at your girls night @LoveinDC So many hugs! I'm sorry you're already feeling out this cycle @Cricket648 Congrats to YH on presenting his thesis! @flashley-2 Go get it girl! Also glad that your puppy is okay. @Dilynne Please never feel bad for venting or sharing sad news. We are here for you through thick and thin! @Avrilmai Glad that your OB appointment went well! @Sailing_Mama So jealous of your weather. It's supposed to rain for the next 5 days here @labgrand2012 We're having the same issue with our lawn. DH didn't get a chance to mow the backyard last weekend and now it's supposed to rain for 5 days. I'm a little scared of how bad it's going to be @shortstack930 Your friend sounds wonderful
@icecubeinthedesert I believe it is at my parents house, yes. Thanks ladies. I just need some patience - right now! bah ha. I took my temp after a 2 hour nap today because I was curious and it was up almost one degree! Dr. Google told me that doesn't count but I'm just going to lie to myself and say the temp spike is coming.

@Cricket648 --- Yes, I have PCOS. Diagnosed in 2014 when I was TTC. I had pre-diabetic ac1 levels and through Metformin and diet I brought them down. I haven't been up there since. I just re-started metformin to see if it can help with my cycles but we shall see. They were starting to lengthen and at one point in 2014 it got to be 80 days and I was over it. I teach middle school band. And you?

@Flurison lots of women get multiple days of positive OPKs, but the only way to confirm the actual date of O is that temp spike (or, you know, expensive blood tests and ultrasounds). It looks like you could get it tomorrow! I've had temp spikes as late as 2 days after a +opk.

a lot of my early childhood memories are like snapshots in my mind, and the images are a little fuzzy, but the emotions are bright. @flashley-2, sorry about your pup!
@Stargazer1lily, lol to your GTKY!
@JJMNO1616, that girl sounds like such a B.
@KariAnn323, looking forward to seeing what else YH comes up with!
@lund, ROFL to your GTKY! Apparently my parents knew I was easy for potty training when I climbed up on the changing table and tried to change my diaper myself once.
@avrilmai, it must be really nice to have stuck with an obgyn for so long. I wish I could have done that!
@sailing_mama, I've always wondered if it would work too make a big batch of oatmeal ahead of time and just reheat it. That instant stuff is so gross. I've also done overnight oats with yogurt, fruit, and chia seeds. You can make that for the week (I put into one portion containers).

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. My mother put me in a dance class when I was around 4 years old. I was so shy as a child that I just stood in the corner and watched the others dance and play.
Sorry for the recent P&Gs just need a bit of break and was so busy at work. Thank you for all the support
@purplg8r Wow, that is a young age to have a memory from. I just read something yesterday that about 80% of the world doesn't remember anything from before the age of 3.
@loveinDC sorry for the shitty mood. And I hate the internal dilemma about whether to get up and run or not. I know I will feel good after, but getting out of bed is so hard.
@flurison Wow, another early memory! An hope you get your temp spike soon!
@cricket648 mmm, Mac and cheese and Champagne. My kind of dinner! Congrats to your DH on his thesis!
@flashley-2 hope your lab gets better soon!

@JJMNO1616 wow I can't believe kids did that as early as preschool!!
@Avrilmai that's great that your OB appointment went so well!
@pebbledam oh no, were you able to get someone to unlock the car for you? That's so frustrating!

R/R: TW hung out with a friend yesterday who is 19 weeks pregnant. She was so wonderful, asking about me the whole time and being so supportive of everything I've been going through. She didn't bring up anything about her pregnancy until I asked her directly (she had just found out the sex of the baby and was probably dying to tell me but is such a good friend that she kept it in until I asked). End TW. Then DH and I went out for a date night last night and had some super yummy burgers and sushi.
CS/Q: not temping this cycle
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. I was about 3 years old and my mom was pregnant with my brother. She had just gotten out of the shower and I put my hands on her huge belly and asked when he was going to be able to play with me.

flashley-2 Can you send some of that HIO energy my way, I've been dying for some loving!
Dilynne Don't ever feel bad about having emotions, even if they aren't positive ones! We all need support sometimes and that's ok!
@justkeepswimming8 Good luck in TWW!
lund Um, you're just gonna have to tell your boss that work is really getting in the way of your Bumping, and that is really just unacceptable. XD
Avrilmai It's great to hear that you had such a positive OB visit! I love when doctors are so supportive!

GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. My very first vivid memory I must be about 2 or so. I remember dancing around my crib twirling some sheer colored scarves. It's one of those odd "slice of life" memories that has really no context or story.

CS/Q:

@Stargazer1lily That's weird! I would've been freaked out if my dog was barking in the middle of the night, too!
@justkeepswimming8 Sorry you're down today. Yay for nephew time though! How old is he?
@KariAnn323 Haha! The euphemisms will certainly keep things interesting!
@icecubeinthedesert OMG your GTKY is too much! I can't believe he did that!
@lund I'm glad you don't have to go to Fargo!
@Avrilmai I'm glad to hear that your appointment went well & that your feeling positive! Fx for CH tomorrow!
@pebbledam Yeah, that first memory pretty much sums up my entire life. Sorry about your car keys! I've been there more times than I'd like to admit...

@Stargazer1lily Wow I was just talking about this with f. Our dog creeps me out and I am sure she sees things. Shes often staring up at the ceiling - it's odd.
@Lund I'm hoping to see it but we are going away this weekend. IF we get back in time I will be tuning in fo sho !!!
@JJMNO1616 Way to hit the gym girl !!
@KariAnn323 Rain here too. Makes a boring eve !!
@pebbledam oh man, that sucks. I did that a few times. Of course always away from home with cellphone in car.
****Puppy update****
So our vet said it is common in spayed females. She put her on estrogen and believes it will solve the issue !!!

@Sailing_Mama So jealous of your weather. It's supposed to rain for the next 5 days here
@labgrand2012 We're having the same issue with our lawn. DH didn't get a chance to mow the backyard last weekend and now it's supposed to rain for 5 days. I'm a little scared of how bad it's going to be

Thanks ladies. I just need some patience - right now! bah ha. I took my temp after a 2 hour nap today because I was curious and it was up almost one degree! Dr. Google told me that doesn't count but I'm just going to lie to myself and say the temp spike is coming.

@Avrilmai - Your relationship with your OB is awesome!
@Sailing_Mama - I hope your brother learned his lesson!
@labgrand2012 - That's probably what I would have done if my mom had taken me to dance class!
@shortstack930 - Thank God AAA got there pretty quick. Your friend is awesome. We hear about so many insensitive people on this board, it's nice to know that not all pregnant ladies are jerks to their friends TTC!
@garnetandgoldgrace - I personally would buy a big box of cheapies since you don't know how long this curent cycle will be!

CS/Q: all good here
GTKY: Tell me about one of your very first vivid memories from childhood. Getting our puppy when I was 3 years old. I remember playing in a backyard with a bunch of puppies, and then the car ride home with the new puppy.
@purplg8r a run that ends at Dunkin and watching shows with friends with yummy food, my kind of day! enjoy!
@LoveInDC Hope the endorphins kicked in and you enjoyed your run!
@Cricket648 Yay for RE appointment all ^ that new stuff is because of mine!
@JJMNO1616 yay for the workouts!
@flashley-2 Hope the vet appointment went smoothly and your pup feels better!
@justkeepswimming8 FX for your TWW! I am hopefully headed there just a few days behind you.
@KariAnn323 love that YH is contributing to our amusement!
@lund your GTKY is hilarious!
@Avrilmai It is good that you feel refreshed after talking with your OB. Hope it stays!
@pebbledam if my car didn’t have the function to keep me from locking my keys in it, I am sure it would have happened at least 2-3 times this year. That sucks, hope it was an easy solution!
@shortstack930 She sounds like an amazing friend that can support you! And sushi yum!
@mschanadlerbon1214 hope you and YS feel better soon!
@Flurison I have 2 days of +OPK but when I O varies (I've had both + and - on my O day)
@Cricket648 the countdown is on!
@flashley-2 I was devastated but we got one soon after. And I totally get why we got rid of the dog now. How did you break your femur?
@Dilynne don't be sorry! We're for you!!
@justkeepswimming8 I'm glad things turned around for you and H!
@icecubeinthedesert how horrifying!!
@lund yay for getting to watch the Rolex & getting a well-timed BD!!
@JennyColada i love getting my nails done!
@mschanandlerbong1214 your gtky made me cringe & laugh!
@garnetandgoldgrace I O later (before this one it was between 23-28 days). I'm a sucker and usually start around day 12 because I'm paranoid I'm going to O at a normal day some time and completely miss it
