We talked about doing some polls in a recent thread, so I thought we could start off with a really tame one (compared to some of October's). So let us know what your favorite season is!
Fall is my jam- sweaters, boots, scarves, but you don't feel like you're dying from the cold. First snow and colorful trees. And my birthday. Fall is the best.

Fall all the way! Cozy sweaters, pretty leaves, my birthday, future LO's birthday (yeah I guess it's technically summer if he comes before the 21st and I'm due the 13th, but I'm still claiming fall), pumpkin spice lattes... There are things I like about every season but fall is my favorite with no question.
I love Fall! Football is my jam! Although this is our first fall in FL. Hoping to fly home on maternity leave to take baby and DD to pumpkin patch and apple orchard
@mrs_tacos I kinda wish SoCal had seasons, but then I remember I don't like cold weather. So maybe I'm okay with a year long summer. But I'm glad you'll get to enjoy a pretty fall with your new LO.
I voted spring because usually the weather is amazing, not too hot and not too cold. Plus the trees and flower blooming are so pretty. Fall was a close second, but I really hated raking up the leaves for like 2 hours every week because we have like 8 trees in our yard.

Fall because temperatures are reasonable and there is usually no snow till the middle of fall. I want to vote for Spring but sometimes our Springs suck like this year where winter won't leave.
@Inanigloo our Springs can suck too.. a couple years ago, it snowed most of Spring. It was gross wet snow. Usually our Springs are really windy too.. I definitely prefer cold weather, but I prefer summer over spring!
I absolutely love Summer but I definitely debated voting for Fall. I love all things Fall, the leaves holidays weather and clothes. But with Summer it's so nice and warm and we can go out on the boat and use our pool and everything and everyone just seems to relax around here a bit.
I could not agree more! Spring and summer are allergy hell. I would much prefer fall and winter when there isn't nearly as much pollen to kill my sinuses.
We don't really have Fall in LA, but I went to Colorado last fall and I loved how beautiful it was. All the pretty colors.
We're in southern California also, but moving back east this summer. The thing I'm most excited about is having a real autumn this year!

If you want any recommendations of places within the tri state area to check out as far as orchards go just let me know! We have been to quite a few places that are fantastic. And where we are now there are some pretty great places as well. I love fall way too much.
I'm on the UO side here, but I voted WINTER! I love snow. It's so pretty and peaceful. I love fireplaces, Christmas music, mittens and scarves!
I love winter when we actually get winter. Meaning, there's snow and not just a frigid dry wind. We got zero snow this past winter and I'm bitter. Tomorrow is suppose to be like 98 degrees. I'm already over summer, and it's not even May yet.

Love fall but I could definitely live without pumpkin spice everything. There should only be pumpkin spice in things that have actual pumpkin. But I do love me some pumpkin and overall I think it's a highly underrated fruit.

@ae_lovely321 cozy sweaters, warm blankets, lovely fires, hot chocolate, and snow versus sweating, sunburns, high AC bills, not being able to sleep because it's too warm, not being able to go out because it's too hot. I'll take a little ice and shivering

I have year long summer. I voted summer because DH is a teacher and that's when we get time together.

I will say though that Christmas is my favorite holiday, so winter time isn't too bad.
But mostly winter is long and never ending here so anything but that is good in my books.
