@flashley-2 yes!  Way to conquer those fears!!

@KariAnn323 I wish I could be good & meal prep lunches

@LoveInDC ugh!  Sorry that you're still sick!

    Month/Cycle: 9/6 (3/1 AL)

    CD: 32

    WAYDTGKU: benched

R/R: last nigh H grilled & he accidentally left the garage door cracked after grilling dinner. We  then had a mosquito infestation.  We've killed at least 25. And there's more up high we can't get to.  I was freaking out. I know he feels bad so I didn't get angry--just sat there pointing them out for him to  kill.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: Do you brown bag your lunch or buy something? What do you usually have? I teach and elementary school lunches are not so good so I being mine from home.  I'm trying to be better about cooking dinner so I'll bring leftovers or a frozen dinner thing

eta: I wasn't done when I hit submit
  • @LoveInDC The never ending fear of disappointment is what makes me actually do it. If I don't meal prep then I "forget" to bring my lunch and buy from the cafeteria instead. DH is super money conscious and hates spending money like he'll only order off the dollar menu at fast food places (we're not rich, but we're not living paycheck to paycheck either). So if I'm spending a lot of money at the cafeteria all the time then I get all self conscious about it. He would never actually give me grief about it but I worry that he is thinking it. I'm sorry that it sounds like you're summoning a demon when you cough. Is it a dry cough or productive? I think someone mentioned it last week, but if it's a productive cough Mucinex works really well. It's definitely worth the money.

@flashley-2 Yay for getting over your fear of needles! I'm still terrified.

@flashley-2 I'm glad to hear that you're feeling prepared for your blood work! Your weekend plans sound amazing!

@KariAnn323 I wish I could get my life together enough to meal prep. Until then, it'll be random leftovers for lunch, and trips to the store the night before when I realize there's nothing in the house for lunch tomorrow!

@LoveInDC Hope you feel better soon! I think I *might* be coming down with DH's cold, but it's too early to say. Hopefully not.

R/R: Nothing other than it's Monday and my car is in the shop, so DH and I have to get creative on how we're both getting to work/class today.

    CS/Q: Not today

GTKY: Do you brown bag your lunch or buy something? What do you usually have?
I always brown bag my lunch, because there's not enough time in my lunch period to go out and there's nothing around here anyway. I'm all about leftovers, so my lunch is almost always whatever I had for dinner the night before.

    Edit: Reading is hard

  • @purplg8r I hate when mosquitoes get in the house! But I'm glad YH is helping to clear them out after his mistake. Mine just shrugs and says the dog will catch them. :eyeroll:

@KariAnn323 Hey, motivation where you can find it, right? DH is just the opposite. He'll use money to be lazy whenever he can. We used to brown bag together all the time, but now that I work from home, he just grabs from the cafeteria. Sigh. Maybe one of these days he'll find his own motivation to eat better and save a bit.

@Cricket648 Oh no! Stay away from the man cold! Bummer about only 1 car. Is it maintenance, or did something happen?

R/R: Should get CH tomorrow, however, I'm not sure I agree with Saturday being O day. I got my + opk in the early evening on Saturday. The morning opk was - on Saturday. Judging by the enormous hot flash that woke me up around midnight, I would be inclined to say O occurred sometime while I was sleeping. But what the H do I know?

CS/Q: All the EPO using ladies, do you stop once O seems evident? This is my first cycle using it, so I'm a little fuzzy on if/when to stop. It does offer some skin benefits as well, so if I don't have to stop taking it, I would like to continue. Is there any reason I should stop during TWW?

GTKY: Do you brown bag your lunch or buy something? What do you usually have? I usually bring my own lunch. Most days it is leftovers from dinner the night before, but if not, it is half a sandwich and a salad or soup. There's usually some cut up veggies and fruit as a snack also.

@KariAnn323 "the clock starts" I like it. Hope you enjoyed your Saturday visitors
@LoveInDC sorry to hear you're cold is still around. Hope you start to feel better soon
@purplg8r that sounds miserable. I do the same thing to my H when he lets bugs in, I point them out to him all night. Hope you made it through the night with no bites
@Cricket648 coordinating schedules with one car when you're used to having 2 is such a challenge. good luck!

WAYDTGKU: hio, bbt, cm, opks, pnv, green tea

R/R: my conference was this weekend and it was excellent. only down side, my temps were a mess and I was in my FW according to FF. So, we missed a few days, but I think FF is confused by my cycles, so hopefully we're still in it.  We're usually EOD, and when I told DH that we needed to hio last night he seemed confused and asked about the EOD, but luckily was willing and able. Also, I have my OB/GYN annual appointment on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to talking to her more in person about the whole TTC process.

CS/Q: I think O is today or tomorrow, but I had some off temps over the weekend due to travel. Big dip this morning. Any thoughts?

GTKY: Do you brown bag your lunch or buy something? What do you usually have? I typically bring my lunch. I usually eat some kind lean cuisine or something similar and then I'll have a Greek yogurt as a mid-afternoon snack. Occasionally we will order out as a group. I had a coworker in the past that was a bad influence (she always wanted to eat out)  when she left I had more money and lost weight! The group I work with now is really supportive of healthy eating habits and we all share snacks and encourage good habits.

  • @beachbunnyxo123 yes I am temping. Last month, I only got one + opk and that was O day. Cycle before I had 2 +'s and then a - and O was marked on the negative say. My temp on Saturday was low and then yesterday was up a bit. My chart is in the siggy if you want to stalk. It probably explains better than I can. Good luck with the new puppy!

    CS/Q:nope

GTKY: Do you brown bag your lunch or buy something? What do you usually have? Lunch is normally provided where I work I`ll have a sandwich/ yogurt /water most days when we have guests we eat what ever the cook makes.
  • @beachbunnyxo123 no positive opks yet, but did have EWCM in abundance mid-day Saturday. last cycle my O was CD9, the previous cycle it was CD17, so I'm thinking I have a little more time and FF is doing its best to guess. I do typically have a fall back rise before O, but since temps were messed up the last 2 days I may have missed it.
And a new puppy is so exciting!  as for training we both worked, so we kept our pup in a kennel when we weren't home and then took her out on a leash every half hour to hour and did the treat reward when she went outside. I found that when we got the 2nd dog it was much easier to train her because she had the first pup to sort of show her the ropes.

@RVAmom315 congrats on the pants fitting better. I know you've been focused on eating better and exercising.

@SoldiersMom i see your argument for Sunday, but the temp seems to indicate Saturday. I am by no means an expert.

@Avrilmai wow that was an early O last cycle! that makes sense I'm sure FF is just waiting to see a little more info. And thanks for the tips! @Avrilmai Thanks! I’m glad your conference went well :) Though it sucks you might have missed a bit of FW. GL at your appointment Wednesday!

@RVAmom315 Thanks! Congrats on the loose pants ;)

@beachbunnyxo123 I’ve been trying to stay elevated, but I sleep on my stomach, so it’s hard to sit up on my back. Congrats on the puppy! I’m very angry that you didn’t post a picture. No tips, but are you paper training him or having someone else take him out? Puppies can only hold their bladders their age in months + 1 hours (e.g., 2 months old + 1 = 3 hours). Maybe pay a neighborhood kid?

@Sailing_Mama I didn’t sleep well last night either. It sucks! GL at your chiropractor though! :)

@pebbledam Thank you! And boo for housework. An AF weekend is the perfect excuse to slack on chores.

@beachbunnyxo123 Interestingly, if I put a temp in for tomorrow that is .5 degrees higher than this mornings I get CH for Saturday. But if I go even higher on Wednesday, it moves CH to Sunday, and also moves coverline up a degree as well. Guess it's just a wait and see all the way.

Thanks @Sailing_Mama and @pebbledam. That is good to know. It's a bummer because I saw such a difference in my skin the last two weeks. Oh well. For the greater good!

@justkeepswimming8 maybe you can get a nice lunch break with DH  ;)

R/R: I took a little bump break this weekend. I've been in a crummy mood, and I am not really sure why. I'm assuming it's a stupid hormonal thing. Poor DH.

CS/Q: I have zero motivation to start temping. I wish I could just take it easy and go off CM, but since I'm starting progesterone this cycle after O, it's important that I know more accurately when that is. Realistically I'm still 2 weeks away from O, so I guess it doesn't matter too much.

GTKY: Ideally I pack a lunch. It's usually some leftovers and some yogurt or fruit. But it goes in spurts of being really motivated to bring lunch and being lazy and running across the street for corner bakery.

  • Sorry for the double post but I do actually have a Question for you ladies... Also TMI warning*
I have been spotting for a few days but when I got up this morning and went to the bathroom I noticed quite a bit dark blood when wipeing. I have read that when the blood is dark and kind of clumpy it's considered "old blood" because my body isn't expelling it very quickly. Anyway... I don't seem to have a "full flow" yet because I'm not even marking a panty liner but when I wipe it seems way more then just spotting? Any thoughts on how I should categorize this? I assumed my full flow would have hit by now but it hasn't!
