@awildrose I am Right there with you. I am actually starting a new job in August too since I am a half year temp teacher since I moved to Florida in January. The good news is the market down here is in dire need of teachers, so I should be ok walking into an interview uber pregnant I am not sure what the maternity leave protocol for the district is but once I secure the job I will ask over the summer and begin my plans for the next year. I am due the end of September and in my district teachers get a week of planning in August so I am hopeful to be prepared early!
So jealous and also happy for all you Canadian mamas. I will be taking hopefully 8-10 weeks of completely unpaid leave, and then returning to the full time grind. Saving extra cash away isn't going as swimmingly as I had hoped though, so it might be more like 6 weeks.
@klcarr19 I interviewed for my very first teaching job at 7-8 months pregnant! They called to offer me the position officially on the day I came home from the hospital with my baby. I was nervous about interviewing while pregnant, but it worked out.
It'll be nice you get to start off the year, at least. My EDD is Sept 1, school starts mid-August, and both my other kids came early. I'm hoping to make it through the first week with students, but my OB isn't optimistic.

I coached high school cheer a year and a half after my first. Technically part-time, could be considered full-time, lol. Took time off after 2nd kid and have been picking up short-term coaching/dance instruction jobs here and there. So a little bit of everything here.
Back to work for me and i'll likely be itching to go back. I love to work too much, so i'll probably still home until 8 weeks (depending on how things go with csection) and then go back part time after that until 12 weeks and that go back full time from there.
