I absolutely did not think pregnancy brain was a real thing or that it would hit so soon. That is until i showered with my glasses on, left the car on in the drive way and let the dog out without his chain on all in the same day. Anyone else riding the struggle bus like me?
Yes. I put a sports bra on over my normal bra the other day. Accidently left my keys inside of a restaurant and only realized it when I went to drive home and couldn't get into my car. I would tell you about others but I can't remember because, well, pregnancy brain.
The other day, I was packing some work things in my car trunk and thought I dropped my phone in there. So, I used the flashlight on my phone to look for it. It seriously took me a few long seconds to realize what I was doing.

The other week I had to use google to help me remember what the name for Microsoft Powerpoint was. I kept looking for Slideshow in my programs list. I also tried to use my train ticket to scan into the work building. It's probably going to get worse. I hope I don't forget DS somewhere.
Last night at my girls comp, my friend asked if I would go look at pictures with her (from the competition photographer) and told her I just need to get my purse. I go in the dressing room , Go by my stuff, start talking to another mom , completely forget why I am by my stuff, trying to remember what I came over there for. After 20 min my friend comes in and asked " did you forget what you were going in here for?" I was like yes! Still not remembering she said , get your purse and lets go look at those pics. Uh duh
I was with a friend yesterday and she just got a new car, same model as ours but a few years newer. We were comparing prices but I couldn't remember how much our car cost so I said I would text my H to ask him. Five min later my friend looked at her phone and said,
Friend: "Oh, you texted me about your Subaru." Me: "I did?" (Thinking she meant I texted her a few years ago when we got it.) "How much was it?" Friend: "What? I don't know. I meant you texted me instead of your H just now." Me: "Oh! Oops, here let me try that again."
I was so mixed up at that point I texted my H a message that just said, "How much was it?" As if he would know what "it" referred to.
Oh my gosh, pregnancy brain is definitely a real thing! I feel for you ladies. I was finalizing my final paper for an online class tonight & couldn't comprehend why Word kept underlining the word "understanded" in red. Definitely got super frustrated for about 5 minutes until I realized that "understood" is the past tense of "understand"... Ugh.
My pregnancy brain has been so bad. Multiple times I have been in mid conversation and completely forgot what i was saying/talking about. Not a good look at work.
The other day I grabbed the brita and put water in my decaf coffee instead of soy milk. I went to go grocery shopping and walked out to the car without my car keys.
My pregnancy brain has been more about being forgetful than anything else. At work especially if I don't write something down then I'll forget and it'll never get done. I've also gotten bad at time management at work. I haven't missed deadlines yet but I've had a few late starts on projects. It doesn't help that I'm the program director and I need to be on top of mostly everything in this contract. But the worse so far is my inability to do some simple math, and I pride myself in being pretty good at numbers.
I've been leaving things in weird places, which is so unlike me. DH is constantly losing things and now I'm right there with him. Walked out of Target yesterday without my phone or sunglasses and for the life of me I cannot find the face wash that JUST came in the mail. I must have put it down someplace but I've looked everywhere...
I locked myself out of the house yesterday. My car is keyless so I did not notice until I was inside of my car pushing the button and getting super frustrated. My keys? Exactly where I left them so I would not forget. Smh.
Last pregnancy, I went into panic mode because I didn't buy underwear for my baby! Diapers, duuuuh!
This time, I didn't know the month! My daughter started soccer second week of April, and I couldn't find her schedule and was getting frustrated until DH pointed out "it's because you're looking in November." I still didn't get it, it look a while to get that it wasn't November, and then I had to ask what month it was! Awful!

I have my 3yo the dogs food instead of her breakfast the other morning. She started picking out the chicken I put in for the pup and giggling until I realized. (Yes our pup has chicken a top her kibble. She's spoiled)
Haha I am laughing away at all the things you ladies have done...I am certain it's real...Yesterday I was talking to my brother-in-law and my husband and was finding it hard to remember 'dinosaur', At the end I said, you know the one that animal in 'Jurassic Park'! Lol also I keep forgetting many things and keep asking people to repeat...
So today I have my next appointment and forgot the binder I have to bring to each appointment (it was next to my door argh) and needed to stop for gas for the car and forgot to stop at the place I always do and then when I did stop I forgot to pop the gas tank which I never do and then realized my sweater was on inside out. Not going well today so far.
