I'm doing well. Finishing up at work (a little over an hour left!).

Heading to the Mini dealership after work to do a possible trade in of my lease. Super excited for an upgrade! Can't wait to do some test drives.

@vflux33 - I remeber being sad that we've had a quiet couple of weeks for grads and then BOOM! It's super awesome and I hope the luck continues!

I spent the night down at the MIL's. It's so refreshing to get out of the city. I was planning to board the dogs, but they called to say a strain of kennel cough was going around, so we decided to take them with us. They had so much fun romping around in the country.

We almost made it out of there without MIL asking about future grandkids, but she managed to ask about an hour before we left. Oy vey. We're trying, lady!

Cranky, miserable, sad..irritable. I'm just a regular old ball of negativity right now. Ha and SO is being a dick. Feeling lonely/bored..frustrated.. It is pretty pathetic that I just finished up with work sitting in my car not really wanting to go home but nowhere else to go either! I don't think I've left out any of the negative feels I'm having lol hope you ladies are having a better Saturday than me!

There's a good chance this all has something to do with my crazy hormones from not having a period in 77 days! I've been a bit of a nut.

@JennyColada Are you in a mini now or upgrading to one?

@snowhite91 Blame the hormones, they can really mess with you. Can you just go for a drive somewhere so you don't have to be home?

@pebbledam Yay for getting some time away. It makes it better that the dogs could run and be free always makes me happy to see them having fun

We are dog sitting so we took a couple walks with the dogs today and had a lunch date. Doing some stuff around the house. Nothing very exciting!

@leekat14 I did end up just coming home..awaiting the wrath of SO when he gets home. He has a stick up his a** because We had a disagreement about house shopping..I want to get out of this one bedroom apartment like yesterday and he wants to wait until he finds a permenant position in the company we work for because we don't know where that will be. He says this right after he just got done saying it could take years! He went on to call me a brat and says he's going fishing after work. Then of course since we are already arguing I say something along the lines of must be nice to have some time to yourself to do something enjoyable, don't bother inviting me or anything. And so now he refuses to go fishing and instead he's going to come home and put me down all night. Just bracing myself now. I just don't get it. He works 60+ hours a week and then when he gets some free time he wants to go fishing? And I'm the brat for not being supportive of him doing something enjoyable that he rarely gets to do. When do I get to do something enjoyable? How about take your woman out somewhere nice or act like not everything's about you for once. Ugh. End rant.

I've been watching Netflix and HBOGo all day. Nothing like binging on tv shows while DH is at work. It's a blah, gray day here so this has been pretty nice actually.

As I've mentioned, I'm a big WWII nerd. I was going through some stuff at my mom's house and I found a cigar box my older brother had that's filled with my great-grandfather's uniform patches (he fought in North Africa and Italy) and all this other military memorabilia my grandfather collected.

I took it- my brother totally forgot about it, and I already have my great-grandfathers photo albums from his time over there. And, should DH and I one day have a family, those kids are going to have a big military family history and this is part of it. I'm so glad I took it.

Speaking of MUD TB threads, anyone remember the natural birth story of sweet sequoia? It's my favorite MUD of all time.

@snowhite91 I'm sorry that today has been rough. Hopefully things will turn around and you guys can find some way to enjoy the night together. When I feel the crazy due to whacked out hormones flowing through my veins, I reach for wine!! Maybe having a glass (or several) will mellow you (and your SO) out and you can forget about daily stresses for a night. Yes, I'm aware that I'm suggesting drinking to solve problems.

And watch a movie! That way you don't have to talk and you can still be together.

@jsnakehole That is so cool that you have all that stuff to remember your grandfather and great grandfather with. What a neat piece of history. My grandpa just passed this year and I'm so thankful to have all his photos and military stuff to look at and think about what an awesome man he was. That will be so cool for you to be able to share with your future children as well.

AFM, we are grilling out and having a drink or two outside tonight. The weather has been so gorg today. Then we are going to finish up painting our entryway and front door. Tomorrow we've got a ton of little house projects to do as well.

@snowhite91 I think we are experiencing the same ridiculous husband's. At lunch we brought home food for dinner, by dinner I think it's gross and not what I want to eat so I make a couple comments...All of the sudden. I've ruined dinner for DH and he's not going to eat. We have wasted so much food in the past few days. DH didn't eat last night after I made dinner because he was pissed about something else. My blood is boiling and I don't know if there is enough alcohol to calm my hormones!

He literally came home and didn't even look my ea for 45 minutes and then sits down and shows me a picture of a deep fryer he wants to buy like What?!

@Leekat14 I am so glad I'm it the only one dealing with a hot head lol! The temper tantrums for real are about as amusing as the ones coming from my 3 YO who is with his dad this weekend, so more wine for me!

@jsnakehole - I'm a minor WWII nerd, and that sounds really, really special. My mom always takes all the good family heirlooms from her side because her older sisters all have boys whose wives will toss it out when my aunts are gone. I fully support you taking the memorabilia.

@snowhite91 - Men can be such divas sometimes. My best advice is that the issue will never be resolved when emotions are running high. Best to talk it over later when y'all are both calmer. LOL about the deep fryer. It's not funny because you're pissed at him, but it's kinda funny.

We went out for pizza tonight and H got a pizza with whole cloves of garlic on it. As soon as I saw it I knew the garlic breath would be with him for days. Sure enough, it's stinking me out of my bedroom. This happens every time he eats garlic, like it sits in his stomach and marinates. I told him to breathe away from me tonight.

P.s. Butt baby butt baby butt baby. I also gotta lurk the sweet sequoia thread! Never heard of that one.

@kbamomma33 That was some good morning reading --thank you! As a somewhat crunchy (but not insane) pacific coaster I come across so much of that shit it's ridiculous so that really hit home for me!

@shortstack930 That was so hilarious but also terrifying. I would definitely never ever join any selfie thread for that reason and never have shared any pics on here. Makes me super paranoid that the very little identifying info I have shared here is too much (actually considering DDing/editing a couple old posts, but effort, meh).

@snowhite91 I'm right there with you. I'm on CD 63 right now, and my last cycle was 94 days (both were/are an-o). I know that the hormones are crazy and that it can feel really lonely & frustrating when you're stuck in an-o hell. I'm sorry if I missed it, but have you called your doctor?

I have accomplished so little this weekend. When I went to my mom's house, I took this series of teen historical romance novels (the Avon True Romance series). They're so cheesy but so amazing, especially since I've never enjoyed graphic sex scenes in novels. The most they do is passionately kiss in these books. My only accomplishment for the weekend is having finished 'Samantha and the Cowboy.'

@snowhite91 Well, it sounds like you're on the right track to be able to move on from this long cycle! Did they say why you should abstain? I'm just curious, because I was not told to do that, and it sounds like we are having similar problems. You mentioned "new blood work", so have you had some blood work already? Hopefully AF will come on it's own for you!

@Cricket648 from my understanding, the blood work is to test for pregnancy before startin the Provera. So if I test negative two weeks after Sex, they know i haven't become pregnant somewhere in between.. I posted somewhere else that I questioned the importance of that two week wait because my SO gets so grumpy!

lol I am just so ready to start fresh here! It's been a roller coaster from thinking I was pregnant to thinking my body may be malfunctioning or something could be wrong! It helps to have this little community to talk with for sure

* edited to add * @Cricket648 are you taking Provera as well to bring on AF with long cycles? I'm sorry if I missed it but have you been diagnosed with PCOS or is it unexplained?

when you girls are talking about being catfished, do you mean that there were imposters on the boards?! Why would anyone do something like that!? In all honesty I can't come up with any logical reason why someone would do such a thing!!

@snowhite91 most of the original comments have been deleted from the catfish thread but from what I remember back when I was in J14, the catfish was a teenage girl I think that was just bored and didn't have friends IRL and she stole all of the pictures from some girl in Sweden. So messed up.

@snowhite91 Probably she just has issues and is lonely, but apparently in another BMB there was a different catfish and that involved stealing money under the guise of helping one of the moms.

@snowhite91 Also I haven't had cycles quite as long as yours but have had ones as long as 52 days (and I get an an-O now and then) and I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS or unexplained... My RE just said I have a pituitary gland-related ovulation disorder (which, oddly, doesn't appear to have a name). Don't know if that applies to your situation, but it could. Hope you get some answers (and AF) soon!

@snowhite91 I have not been given Provera yet, because my regular doctor wanted me to wait until I could get in to see an RE. I'm pretty sure her thinking is that testing may be easier if I wait on the Provera. I have my appointment with the RE on May 4th, so I obviously don't have a DX yet.

Are you temping? If not, I would highly recommend it, especially with those long cycles. If I weren't temping, I'm sure I would have had myself totally convinced I was KU after not having a period for over three months. Also, it helped my doctor to better understand what was going on with me.

I laughed so hard at that sweet sequoia thread. She should go into satire writing professionally. That could've easily been on The Onion.

I got a little freaked out by the catfishing thing and went and edited a bunch of my posts to remove things I decided identified me too much. Apparently I'm super naive about the internet and didn't even know it. Going to be more careful about what I share about myself from now on.

@cricket648 @snowhite91 - I'm so sick of my hormones not doing what they're supposed to do. Friday was my last day of the Provera, and I've been randomly spotting for DAYS without any real AF yet. So frustrating. I just want to get this show on the road so I can get tested to see what's going on with my hormones. Grumble grumble.

I've officially accomplished nothing this weekend. Just lots of online shopping for my summer vacation. I don't really NEED any of it but for some reason I always feel the need to buy a bunch of clothes for vacations. Nothing I have ever seems quite right for the vacation I'm taking.

I'm Suppose to call the dr office two weeks after last BD to get Provera and we were a week in but we "screwed" up tonight and now I don't know whether to start over or just go get the Provera since no one else seems to wait the two weeks anyways

@snowhite91 Get a copy of the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Tony Welschler (they're pretty cheap on Amazon) and download the Fertility Friend app & do the tutorials if you're interested in learning more about temping and understanding your cycle. Temping kept me sane(ish?) through the long cycles!
