  Simple 1ct brilliant cut on plain platinum setting with matching wedding band. DH picked it out all on his own! Excuse my ugly fingers, I have eczema which stopped my career as a hand model (jokes)

  I love looking at the bling! Mine isn't anything huge or extravagant but DH picked out the engagement diamond himself and he setting. I love it so much because he took all of the initiative without any help from anyone. I picked out my wedding band.   @canonmom413 I love, love, love vintage rings!! If we had been older when we had gotten engaged, I would've asked for one. I just didn't come into my love for vintage rings until we were already married.

  I love yellow gold, which is not as common these days, so both of my rings needed to be ordered.  DH's mom works in the local jewelry store, so she helped him pick the engagement ring and helped me pick the band.  Also...awesome discount.

  Well since I popped on an actual computer for my HBDB post, I thought I'd jump in on here too. Here's my engagement and wedding band. DH picked out the engagement ring. My favorite part is the "floating" diamond setting. Not gonna lie, I used to think it would fall out but it's been going strong for 9 years *knock on wood*
