I thought it'd be fun to share what thing is our first baby purchase...
Little or big doesnt matter.
Mine was today... it was kind of dumb. I was in the chemist waiting around for a script and wandered into the baby section. They had organic bamboo baby newborn clothes and wraps. I bought a swaddling wrap in a neutral cream colour. It felt really special and cute.

@irishfrisky ha ha.... what a good idea. Problem is.... whose team? DH and I goo for different teams..... for all sports!
@slaven I busted out my leftover stash from DD the day I found out I was pregnant, and almost splurged on some NB flats. I had to stop myself because of all the deals you get for spending more on kellyscloset lol! So far my only purchase has been the darling diapers pattern. I can't wait to build up a cute stash of newborn fluff!
ETA: I also sew a bit and really would like to make LO a teddy bear on my own that s/he can have forever. Hopefully s/he likes it!

I got two things. I got a car seat cover that goes on top like a shower curtain. I have one but it goes under the seat belt and that's not allowed now. Makes me feel bad for using the other one but when I had DS1 that's all that was on the market. I got it in a dove grey so it's gender neutral.
I also got a little santa suit. I know it's ridiculous but it was on clearance for $5 and I was having such bad nausea and I thought getting something to make me excited would help. It's gender neutral I think. Although after having two boys I'm convinced this one will also be a boy and so that's all I picture when I look at stuff.
DS1 is 7. DD is 1. DS2 is coming in late April.

also, for anyone who might want more than one kidddo, look into the city select stroller. I love it, and when number two comes, instead of having to get a new stroller, we just have to get a seat to add into it. It has I think 16 combinations of how you can do it and is really nice. I love it!
