I've been able to feel my little peep more and more! Excited for when DH will be able to feel the little kicks.

Probably Hawaii, or maybe a cruise in the Caribbean.
ETA: My parents are coming down with my sister to help her move her stuff, and my three younger siblings are all going to the college I work at, so that's how all the family will be here. Sorry, left out that info.
GTKY: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? I really, really want to go on an African Safari, it's one of my biggest bucket list items. And I want to go to Costa Rica and hold a sloth. Also, DH and I had planned to go to Scotland and Ireland next month, but we're going to move instead, and postpone the trip probably two years. I wouldn't say no to any European vacation, but we've been planing this one for two years, so I really have my heart set on it now!
GTKY: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? Agree that I've been wanting to do an african safari for a long time. I also really want to go to Patagonia in south america and stay somewhere super remote. Not sure how either of those trips will work with a small child, so I guess I'll have to think long-term...

Had the anatomy scan yesterday! Baby is healthy and measuring on track.
I noticed my skin is more sensitive to the sun. I always wear sunscreen on my face but usually only put it on my body if I'm laying out in the sun all day. I was outside for a few hours this weekend and my arms and chest got burnt! Time to be more diligent with lotion.
I just got a $250 bill from the first ultrasound we had out of my midwives office (for the NT Scan). More than I expected since I have pretty good insurance. Is that typical?

Everywhere! My favorite vacation spots so far have been Bali, the Amalfi Coast in Italy, Norway, Jamaica, St. John in the Virgin Islands and Kauai. I tend to prefer tropical/beach vacations, but love old cities and mountains, too. Can't wait to bring this baby on adventures.
@LosAngelesMama I have PPO. Good to know that HMO may be a cheaper option! I always go in network anyway, so I'll look into switching to HMO when I'm in open enrollment. Thanks!

YES! Finally! I get to go to my very first appointment this Friday and I am so happy I could cry
I finally feel like I have "popped" a little bit and don't just look like I ate a couple too many burritos. Sleep has been lacking a lot recently thought
I am just so excited to finally get to go to the Dr. and ask all my questions there haha

The real question is where wouldn't I go? My dream trip for for my whole life was a South African safari and DH and I were lucky to do that for our HM. Now I want to go to Alaska, Egypt, Australia, Ireland, Greece, Italy, Madagascar....

I just can't wait!!
I'm so exhausted between being sick and the lack of the 2nd trimester energy boost. But it's our 5 year anniversary tomorrow and for once we both got the day off! I'm pretty excited about that.

I would love to go back to London and Amsterdam. DH had never been out of the US and I think that needs to change. Someday.
Heartburn, Tension Headaches, Morning Gagging/nausea, too much mucus in my face, etc.
I think I am starting to feel the baby kick...so that is exciting!
Also a friend of mine just reached out about giving me a bunch of her kiddos things (swing, pack and play, bouncy chair, high chair etc) as they aren't using them any more. Very exciting to not have to buy them or ask for these as gifts...and also just fun to get to use things my friend used with her kiddos. Pretty much all my besties have kids between the age of 4-13 so it is fun to be getting some hand me downs.
Also I went through my baby things that my mom saved and there are some super cute still wearable items that will be fun to get our future kiddo in pictures wearing.

I'd LOVE to go back to Paris. Greece, Italy, Ireland, London and the Galapagos Islands are all MUSTS. I know DH wants to go back to China. I think our next big trip will be somewhere we can see the Northern Lights. I pretty much want to travel everywhere.

Mucho Mother In Law drama on Easter Sunday. Not to go into specifics because that would be a novel, but basically she did something regarding DS that I specifically asked her not to do. I called her on it and told her I felt disrespected. She in turn interpreted that to mean that I "don't like her" and got multiple family members involved who spent two days texting my husband telling him that I need to apologize for hurting her feelings. Ugh.
GTKY: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Everywhere. But, Greece and Ireland on high on my bucket list. Before DS, the huz and I were a cycling family and had the opportunity to cycle the coast of California, from San Francisco down to Santa Barbara. It was an amazing trip that taught me so much, so I would love to travel via bicycle again, internationally or across country.

GTKY: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? a cycling trip sounds amazing! I've never been to California so that would be on the list. My dad did one through Italy. For a relaxation vacation I'd love to go to Hawaii. Otherwise, back to Europe!

I really want to do an Egypt/Greece trip. I majored in Art History and Classical Civilizations and both of these places have so much amazing history to see. So many amazing places/things to see in this world of ours!
GTKY: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? Oh, gosh. I really want to go hike to Machu Picchu. And I think it would be awesome to do one of the hiking tours to Everest Base Camp. Nothing more than that, though, I like not losing digits, or possibly dying, when I hike.

Two pomegranates
Had one yesterday. Now I start going every two weeks.
Just some weird twinges in my upper abdomen which my doc said it was just my bowels/intestines. My belly is starting to feel really heavy and lots of pressure. RLP is a bitch.
Still waiting for my Anatomy Scan. I am really anxious to start preparing for these babies! I feel like I have so much to do with two. I asked DH if we should do an elective ultrasound, but he's not interested at all. Oh well.
