Well I am 39 weeks tomorrow with baby number 2 and I have been having contractions every day for 2 weeks. I had my doctor check my cervix yesterday and she said oh wow it's high and closed! I cried my way home after that. My labor was so long and pushing took over 2 hours with my first so I was so hoping my body would be further along. And what the hell is my body doing? Putting myself through pain every day and it's doing nothing? Dammit. I wasn't nervous about my labor but now I am. And my first baby was 8 pounds 11 oz so I'm getting nervous that I'm not closer to being ready sooner. I'm scared of having an even bigger baby since I tore pretty bad last time.
i need to calm the f down. I was so hoping for an easier time than last and everyone told me to expect it since it's baby number 2 and I have lost hope.
I cry because I can't stand my baby boy in pain. He will be sleeping soooo peacefully, then makes "the face". What comes after the "the face" tears at my heart. I can't wait for his insurance to be taken care of so I can get him into a pediatric gastroenterologist ASAP.
I also had a good boo hoo sesh over our car being totaled and having to deal with the claim, car rental, and getting a new car. Blah.
I was informed by DS today that my cat (17 years old!) that stayed at my mom's house, passed away A MONTH AGO. My mom said she didn't want to tell me because she knew I would be sad and wanted to wait until Samuel was born. Ugh....ALL THE TEARS... I know she lived a good, long life, so I'm trying to stay focused on that positive...
@KirstinH88 so sorry about your cat! That's heartbreaking.
I cried yesterday because Lucy had actual tears in her eyes after she cried through her sponge bath. I know it's ridiculous but I felt terrible for making her so unhappy. Those tears hurt my heart.
