How are my fellow SCH ladies doing? For those that have had their SCHs resolve have you resumed normal life without any problems? Any issues coming off pelvic rest or starting excercise? For those that still have them any progress?
I had a doctors appointment yesterday and my SCH shrunk about 50% in 3.5 weeks and is now 3cm x 2.4 cm. No major bleeding in a month and even my spotting stopped about a week ago. the sch is showing a lot more clotting too so my doctor was very pleased. I of course would prefer it gone but was happy and doc OKed me for slightly more activity...,still pelvic rest and no working out but dont need to be housebound as much. So fingers crossed that it continues to shrink and it's gone by my 20 week scan! Most important baby boy is great! I hope you all are doing well. These SCHs are so scary and really make it hard to relax and enjoy the pregnancy. Even if it resolves I know my fear will remain until I'm holding my little boy in my arms.
Re: How are my SCH ladies doing?
Doc is hopeful that it will go away quickly, but put me on modified bed rest until it does. I'm a teacher and this coming week is spring break, so I'm thankfully not missing as much work as I would otherwise. I had an appointment already on Monday, so I'll go in and get checked out. I hope that they'll do an ultrasound next week sometime to see the progress.
Does anyone know once this is resolved if it's possible/likely for it to come back during this pregnancy?
I'd say my life is mostly back to normal. I am on my feet a lot at work and do some heavier lifting at times, so by the end of my shift, I am usually pretty tired and put my feet up when I get home. The only exercise that I have done lately is walking. I've been apprehensive about "doing the deed" so that's another question I was gonna ask at my appt. My poor hubby...Lol.
I'm glad to hear that everyone's SCH's are starting to resolve. And sorry @JessDG I don't know the answer to if they can come back. I hope not!!

@Sparklelily, that is a pretty amazing story! Yes, ignorance is bliss.
@JessDG, I don't know how likely they are to come back once resolved. I hope not very likely but in researching this I have read that some women have them resolve and come back. Hopefully that is not us! I do think more often than not they don't come back.
@ezavasky I know what you mean about being scared about doing the deed! I'm not even able to yet because my sch is still there but I know even when it resolves I'll be petrified. It might be a while for poor hubby!
