@lmudra I apologize. I totally failed there. I was trying to be encouraging, but as I reread it, that is not at all how I came across. I also suffer from anxiety, so maybe I was more trying to psych myself up for this. I absolutely agree that your mental health is a vital part of caring for your family. Please accept my sincerest apology for my total failure to provide any of the support and encouragement I intended.
@neludelu completely and totally unintentional. I definitely did come off as rude, judgemental and holier than thou. I will try to do better, or stick to gtky posts. Fwiw I'm bad at this in real life too.
@Stankonia2014 I was totally out of line, you are so right, and spot on on all accounts. I was an ass. I would edit the original post, but I'm certain I'd make this all worse.
Dammit June! We almost got a little drama and BAM! @sejica was all mature and reasonable. Pffff! Here I got all excited, left to get popcorn and then.... FAIL.
@lmudra my friend gave me some childbirth affirmation cards. I have found them to be really reassuring and helpful. They help me feel that regardless of how things will go, childbirth is the most natural thing ever
I'll also throw in that growth scans can scare you but can also be off!!! I was scheduled to be induced with mine because my doc measured him at 10 lbs with 2 weeks left before my due date. He wound up breaking his bag of waters later on that weekend before I was induced and wound up being a perfectly normal/healthy 8 lb baby. Birth in general can be very scary BECAUSE of all the "what-ifs." And you will find an overabundance of horror stories out there because every mom likes to share her story. Do what feels right for you and your kiddo!
No advice, but I wanted to send you lots of hugs regarding anxiety. I struggle with it daily and it's hard. Sending lots of confidence and positive thoughts to you!
