Re: Monday Ticker Change (4/10)
1. 39 wks! Getting close now!
2. As of Thursday the u/s estimate was 7lb13oz, the tech is historically within 3-6oz either way.
3. Pink. No name yet. No progress toward a name.
4. Chiro today, planning to go to yoga nidra Wednesday evening, Thursday I have a routine prenatal and either a BPP or NST.
5. I feel like a tipped cow trying to get out of bed. Other than that I feel really good still somehow.
6. DH gets SO stressed at the end of my pregnancies. It's annoying. I kind of get it, but I'm over it. He needs to chill out. We are ready and it is going to be fine.
7. Fine tuning hospital bag and toiletry bag. Washed another little load of laundry a friend passed on to me. I have walked and walked and walked with my support belt thing on. I hope I've dilated and effaced more. I will be discouraged if I haven't even though I know it really doesn't mean anything. Still eating my dates every day and taking EPO.
8. We do! I am hoping to attend service Good Friday at 7pm. DH thinks I should come home and rest after work, but I really want to go. Also egg hunt and Easter baskets for my girls at home Sunday, followed by Easter service. The ILs usually have lunch at their house. I am due the day after Easter so who knows if all these plans will happen.

2. How big is baby?: Winter melon
3. Team Pink, Blue or Green? Pink
4. Appts this week?: routine ob visit tomorrow
5. Symptoms?: brutal reflux which is causing insomnia, vomiting and general discomfort. I'm currently trying some remedies to see if they'll help. I feel occasional pelvic pressure and lightning crotch, so I'm hoping it's a good sign that she'll be here soon!
I'm not having ANY Braxton hicks, cramping or contractions these past few weeks though, so I also feel like she's never going to come hahah.
6. Rants/Raves?: Rant: I'm just so done with pregnancy, I'm ready for Charlotte to be an outside baby!
Rave: only a few more weeks to go!! I'm also so excited to see that so many April babies have arrived!
7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week?: Nothing! Everything is all set, come on baby!
8. Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are your plans for this week and upcoming weekend?: If im still pregnant, DH and I were going to go out to eat with his parents & sister. My in laws chose a place that's like 10 mins from the hospital just in case, which is awesome
1. How many weeks are you? Or how old is baby? 38 Weeks! Can't believe I'm already at this point
2. How big is baby? Big! On track to be over 9lbs if born on due date and 36 week ultrasound was correct
3. Team Pink, Blue or Green? Blue! 99% sure he is Ciaran at this point
4. Appts this week? Tomorrow! I'm very excited to ask some last minute questions and see if I have made any progress
5. Symptoms? Cramps, indigestion, and just feeling huge
6. Rants/Raves? This baby boy has been moving around like crazy! I feel like he is trying to kick his way out of my stomach. I'm also just stressing at this point about when he will get here.
7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Hospital bags are packed, trying to get ahead on my own grad work so I am ready to just enjoy the baby and I have been trying to keep the house clean
8. Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are your plans for this week and upcoming weekend? We don't do much because we are not around any family. My mother in law usually visits us, we dye eggs and have a nice dinner but since the baby is due at the end of the month no one is scheduled to visit until he arrives.
2. How big is baby?: Pumpkin
3. Team Pink, Blue or Green? Pink! Hailey Grace
4. Appts this week?: NST/OB today - all went well, still a 2 but pretty much 100% effaced and cervix is super low. Induction is scheduled for Friday morning!
5. Symptoms?: Awful pelvic pressure/lightening crotch - the usual heartburn.
6. Rants/Raves?: Rant: Just ready for Friday to get here and dreading the awful Atlanta traffic this week with the bridge that collapsed. 3 more days of commuting!
7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week?: Nothing! We just tried to spend as much time as we could with DS - hope the transition to big brother goes well!
8. Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are your plans for this week and upcoming weekend?: Well we will most likely be discharged on Easter Sunday (mixed feelings on this). I'm super hoping that the delivery goes so well that both our OB and pediatrician will let us go home in 24 hours (Saturday). The OB said they were fine with that assuming no complications but that often the pediatricians drag their feet. Hoping that won't be the case! We'd love to still be able to do an egg hunt for DS - otherwise we will do one the next weekend.
1. How many weeks are you? Or how old is baby?40 weeks, hello due date!
2. How big is baby? A watermelon (though they estimate about 6 lbs)
3. Team Pink, Blue or Green? Pink! Harper Elaine
4. Appts this week? I had a BPP and doc appt today. We scheduled the induction for Wednesday.
5. Symptoms? False labor on Thurs- 4 hours of contractions that were 5 mins apart. I went to the hospital and they had me walk for 2 hours, I didn't progress so they sent me home. I had another 3 hours of contractions last night too.
6. Rants/Raves? Rave: there is an end in sight. I'm a bit nervous about the induction. It's nice to have a little bit of control, but I worry it's not the right call. I'm 3cm and 80% effaced, which lessens my fear that an induction would lead to a c section if the baby isn't ready.
7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Trying as hard as I can to get her out! Walking several miles per day, bouncing on the ball etc.
1. How many weeks are you? Or how old is baby? Almost two days old
2. How big is baby? Not sure. Born 6.5lbs
3. Team Pink, Blue or Green? Pink-- Lucy Evanna.
4. Appts this week? Still in hospital.
5. Symptoms? Trying so hard not to fall asleep while feeding her. Lots of pain. Lots of sleep deprived and hormonal weeping. Hungrier than I've been in nine months.
6. Rants/Raves? She did a great job latching at first and that's all the consultant saw. But she's not getting enough to eat because she falls asleep the instant she is on the boob, won't wake up, and doesn't want to do any work to suck even if enticed with formula. I don't know how this is gonna work. Maybe it will get better when my milk comes in and there's more for her to try for.
7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Still need to finish decorating the nursery. Ha. Sent a hat home with Lucy's smell on it to the dog. Working on healing so I can take better care of her.
8. Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are your plans for this week and upcoming weekend? Yes, though this year we may not do anything at all. Have some time just the three of us. Typically church and family, but no travel this year and not ready for a crowd yet.
