So I am 19 and 5days. Had a cerclage put in at 17 weeks and was told no sex or anything in the vagina. But i wasn't told about stimulation or masturbation but I have read it is not good. I am very curious if anyone can relate?

  • Why open of u cant handle the topic? It specifically states TMI obviously u lafies are very immature

  • @bbtrix it's not about handling the topic, it's about asking a bunch of internet strangers a question that CLEARLY is for your doctor. Why you'd ever trust the safety of your baby or cervix on our random opinions is beyond me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • Stimulation can cause contractions sooooo let's just go with no here.
  • But if you must have advice from internet strangers, then sure, buy a vibrator.

  • I don't find this tmi at all. But you could have googled it like I have myself. The reason he said no sex is because of the orgasms which cause contractions, so that would also mean no masturbation unfortunately.
  • Never said i was going to take answer from here and run with it. I simply asked a auestion i wanted to know. I have read up on it but wanted opinions from mothers pregnant now. I am no troll. Simply a qst time mom and curious with lots of questions.
  • Lol. Well maybe now i should be. Since i feel like im in a chat full of middle schoolers smh

You need to talk to your doctor. Only your doctor knows the condition of your cervix. I am not your doctor and so I don't know if the contractions caused by an orgasm will negatively impact your cervix. Things like this are by an individual basis we cannot answer your question. Especially without putting your pregnancy and baby at risk. Talk. To. Your. Doctor.

Ladies, I think this is one of the trolls we were expecting.
Did you not read the entire post above that...

I heard that as long as you use a vegetable it's ok. The baby will absorb the nutrients. I recommend a cucumber or a zucchini.
