@lahansen agreed. Everything is more pronounced and felt deeper than if someone was rude to you at Wal-Mart when you ask the difference between Italian parsley and the Curly parsley (they told me to Google it lol).
@fiddleRN79 that's a good way to put it, it definitely is more pronounced in that kind of setting where you're there because you don't feel well to begin with. Bedside manner is just important in medical professions.
Off topic but for those of you following along at home, I do not have food poisoning and I got a refund. Winner winner, anything but chicken dinner.
ETA: Since we're spilling over into Tuesday, does anyone want to start the TW Tuesday thread? I'd do it myself but I've already started one today
I'm not exactly sure how some people on here are claiming to be 10 weeks and have been for days. That would mean you're due in October. Lol bitchiest bitch on here, I apologize.

Well, I'm due on the last day of October but I'm pretty sure I ovulated late. Also, I went over 41 weeks with my first, so I felt more comfortable here since I'll almost definitely have a November baby.
On our spreadsheet there are 3 of us due in October. 1 turned 10 weeks yesterday (10/30 DD) and are 2 of us are 10 weeks today and have have Halloween due dates so we're borderline. That work?

A few people actually are due the last few days of October, and didn't like being so far behind on the other boards. *shrug* to each their own! If they feel more comfortable here, the more the merrier

I understand and agree. It can be confusing at times though!
There are a few of us more than likely to give birth in October instead. Some because of C-section needs, earlier inductions or because our bodies don't carry to 40 weeks.
It must be so hard to be due at the end of a month. I admit it's nice to be like "yesss, I'm already 9 weeks, look how much closer I am to being done with ms than those just hitting 6!" I would probably jump ship to the following month if I was due on the 31st too lol
The front end is weird too! I was due on July 3rd with my first so I joined the July group, and then ended up having her on 6/23. I know some people who are right on the cusp end up participating in both months for a bit and then settling on whichever one they seem to fit with better.
Lol even though I'm due early I'll probably be one of the last to have an u/s. My first appointment is at 11 weeks but I won't have an ultrasound until 15 weeks! (Cue my panic about finding out it's twins late in the game)
ETA: twins wouldn't be a bad thing, but finding out at almost the halfway point panics me
I'm totally worried because my due date is November 4th that I'm going to find out at my dating ultrasound that I'm actually due in Halloween or something and I'm going to be devastated to not be a November mom anymore. Honestly I'll probably stay in the group anyways. .
I'm due late October. If I go over a few days I'll have a November baby. I just felt closer in due date to a lot of ladies on here...a lot of the ppl on the October board are due at the beginning of the month it seems like. In my September 15 group the majority of us ended up with august babies so a lot of you November ladies will likely have October ones...if we're all due within a couple weeks I don't think it matters!
Please don't leave if you find out you find out you're actually due in October or even December for those who just found out. I think it's really silly to kick women to another board when chances are they're not going to have a baby on their due date anyway.

Love this! I'd had that thought even having an EDD of 11/4... It's still so early I could be Oct but I'll be sticking around cause I like us. I feel like a week's wiggle room on either side isn't outrageous if it's what you're more comfortable with.

I was part of the July 2011 BMB, and my son ended up coming 4 weeks early! So he was born in June. I ended up spending time in both groups in the beginning, because I wanted to share so much about my birth experience and those early weeks, and the June women were more helpful with that. Once the July women starting popping out babies, I became more active with them again. There's nothing saying you can't spend time with two groups!
For me personally, I'm due November 8th (I think), but as my body doesn't like to carry to term, I wouldn't be surprised if I have an October baby. I'm just hoping for an October baby and not a September one! (DS was born 10 weeks early, was supposed to be an April baby but came in February!) I'm cool with anyone in the late October-early December range being in here

I know this is a thread that's almost a week old but I just wanted to come back and say a big THANK YOU for being such a welcoming group. I am EDD 11/8 based on LMP (will know better after my dating ultrasound next week) but as I have to have a c-section due to prior surgery, it's a likely October due date for me. So, I have been posting in November since my BFP but recently started lurking in October once I realized the dates. I must say, that BMB already seems cliquey and unwelcoming. I don't know if it's just the threads I've read, but I'm definitely way more comfortable here! Especially since even if I have to deliver at 37/38 weeks, I am way more likely to be in sync re:symptoms, bumps and ultrasounds with the November ladies!
Anyways, maybe a more appropriate post for FFFC but at least I know you all will be nice about it! Haha
